  1. Those are both performance laptops but I'm looking for something light and with a good battery. The e6440 is too beefy/heavy. I'll be carrying the laptop around with me all day. As for the xps13, it's a better choice but still pretty pricey and way too performant for me. Battery life and slimness is a priority and I feel like I'd be overpaying for the xps13 because a lot of it's performance would be wasted. I'll be looking for used xps13s in my area to see if I can get a good deal though.
  2. Canada, budget is $600. I'm looking for a light/slim laptop, bood battery life and great build quality, aluminium body if possible. Needs to have a good (illuminated) keyboard and mousepad, 720p or 1080p screen. Bigger than 13 inches. Light gaming is a plus but not a requirement. Don't need optical drive but should be able to accept an ssd. Needs to be able to run linux and windows 10 smoothly as I'll be dual booting the two. Should stay away from hybrid/switchable graphics because those don't play nice with linux/ubuntu. Is there any ultrabook that's good for me in my price range?
  3. I JUST ordered new parts for a new PC which shipped yesterday but cut out on the graphics card so it would come out cheaper.
