Jrock91x's Achievements

  1. It's quite old, I'd say at least a year and I've had the power cut off from my PC multiple times which needless to say is no good at all but it's still kicking for now which I'm a bit amazed at. The reason I want to reuse it is because when I build my new rig I was planning on selling my current PC to a friend who wanted it so we can game together and so I would just have to buy one new set of HDD and OS as apposed to two, so I can save as much as I can.
  2. Hey guys, I was wondering if it was possible to use the HD from my current PC and use it in a newly built PC. My PC is this pre-built HP that I bought from Walmart and upgraded with a GPU and power supply. I've searched around and from I gathered the thing is that, since the HD already has various different drivers (such as CPU, GPU, peripheral, audio, etc.) that it needs installed already, I would have to remove those drivers before installing it into a different PC and that there are also restrictions that won't allow me to transfer the HD due to it being an OEM. However, I read that I can put the HD into an OOBE (Out of Box Experience) which would remove the current drivers thus making it like I was booting the HD for the first time allowing me to transfer the HD and install the new drivers it needs. So my question is, how much truth is there to this and what are my options?
  3. So great that you guys have been able to reach this milestone and that we as a community are able to share this celebration together. I first stumbled onto LinusTechTips while researching for a build and found your videos to be really entertaining and informative to what I was searching for. Afterwards anytime I was looking into something new I would search your channel and you always seem to have what I was looking for, I always came away feeling satisfied with the information you brought forth into your videos. Furthermore since I found out about the Techquickie channel I have spent much more of my time looking through y'all's channels and have since felt that LinusTechTips is the one stop go to place for satisfying content.
  4. I would say by favorite part of the phone is the insane 20.7 Mp camera, the amount of detail in every photo and video (especially in 4k) is spectacular. dbrand is pretty awesome them selves for making cool skins and helping with this give away...
  5. Here's to hoping I can win this sweet duo of hardware. I always appreciate seeing a corsair product (big fan of corsair)... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmlvzNJIuYY&list=UUkWQ0gDrqOCarmUKmppD7GQ This video finely explained the difference to me... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dnd28lQHquU&list=UU0vBXGSyV14uvJ4hECDOl0Q
