  1. Can I detect imperfections in the quality of music, like mp4 format with the ath 900x?
  2. I just got the audio technica ath ad900x and I was wondering which microphone should I go for in the $55 or under range? I don't have much background noise besides the fans on my computer and my keyboard which isn't mechanical so it isn't too loud. I want the best sound quality for my money out of my mic. http://www.amazon.com/Blue-Microphones-Snowflake-USB-Microphone/dp/B0012AUHXW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1418338939&sr=8-1&keywords=blue+snowflake or http://www.modmic.com/products/modmic-4-0 or http://www.amazon.com/Blue-Microphones-Snowball-Microphone-Aluminum/dp/B002OO333Q/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1418339145&sr=8-3&keywords=blue+microphone or A suggestion of yours. -------------------------------------- And if you chose the modmic where do I buy it at a good price? Cause amazon doesn't sell it.
  3. I want great sound quality, for vocals, bass, and rock.
  4. Are there any other closed back headphones that are better for that price range?
  5. Ok what about the audiotechnica ath 900x heaphones? Will those benefit from this?
  6. Ok so I have 3 sets of headphones, the ostry kc05a's, the skullcandy hesh 2's, and the Hyperx Cloud gaming headset. I am also planning on getting some audiotechnica ath-900x headphones in about 2 months or so, or maybe for christmas. I have the Asus Crosshair V forumla-z mobo with supreme fx II sound for my computer but I mostly listen to music on my galaxy s5 so I was wondering if I should get the FiiO e18 or not? Will it really make that much of a difference? I haven't ever really used an amp before let alone a dac and amp. Also are there any better portable dac and amps out there? Will I notice a 160$ worth difference? Are there better ones out there?
  7. I have the Asus crosshair V formula z AM3+ mobo, and the Hyperx cloud gaming headset, I was wondering if getting This: http://www.amazon.com/Blaster-Performance-Headphone-Forming-Microphone/dp/B009ISU33E/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1417192047&sr=8-3 sound card would I notice a difference and would it improve the sound?
  8. Google, google, google, research online, online, online, ask forums, ask forums, ask forums for links. DUH!
  9. The nvidia gtx 970 is around the same price and will give you MORE FRAMES FOR YOUR MONEY and better features like shadowplay and gsync. Especially the 970 can overclock WAY more than the 290x which will get you yet even MORE frames.
  10. Pentium, pentium pentium, and a z97 board for upgrading later.
  11. Asus Crosshair V Formula Z is currently the most expensive and best overclocking mobo for the AM3+ socket.
  12. um lol i was just curious if anyone knew. And ya sorry I meant chipset I'll edit my post.
  13. Go with the i5 and a z97 mobo that way you never have to upgrade your mobo just your cpu.
  14. How did you apply your thermal paste? you might want to reapply it with the dot or line method. I believe linus did a video on how to apply thermal paste if you want to look that up.
  15. ^^ this youtube video comparison should help you. However if I were you I would wait, just be patient, until you have enough money for a gtx 970, because that card BY FAR gets you THE MOST bang for your buck, so once you have ~350$ saved up and you buy a 970 you'll thank me. Because if you do go with a r9 280x or a r9 285 you will be upgrading in the next few months which will cost you more money. So go big now and you'll save money in the long run. It goes like this 280x > 285 > 280.
  16. So just get another gtx 780 classified and go sli? will that raise my minimum framerate more than upgrading to intel?
  17. In most games if you upgrade to 16GB there is 0 difference in performance, however in some games there is around 2-4fps difference, so for now, stick to 8gb in a year or two plop in another 8 gigs.
  18. I plan on buying the i7 4790k and the Asus Maximus Formula VII mobo. I was wondering what percentage% increase in fps in a game like Skyrim could I expect from this upgrade? I was told my fx 8350 was bottlenecking my gtx 780. 19. I have Asus Crosshair V Formula Z AM3+ mobo and the fx 8350 and let me tell you, it's NOT worth it, get a z97 and an i5 3690k. I wish I had gone with that instead since I will be upgrading to it next month.
  20. So I want to upgrade to z97 and intel i7 4790k. However I cannot decide between these two boards: http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Classified-Dual-Channel-MotherboardEATX-152-HR-E979-KR/dp/B00K2KMOPC/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1414905527&sr=8-3&keywords=z97+evga http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-Motherboard-MAXIMUS-VII-FORMULA/dp/B00M5DUVT0/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1414906981&sr=8-6&keywords=z97+asus Price out of the equation what is the Best board? I do not care about the price I only care about the features between these two boards.
