  1. I have a valheim server running on an 9th gen i5 cpu and 8GB of RAM. It has Valheim Plus, which you'll need client-side as well (installed on your computer), and is a very easy mod to install: https://www.nexusmods.com/valheim/mods/4?tab=files or https://valheim.plus/installation

I've made some quality of life improvements in the valheim plus mod but at the same time haven't completely broken the difficulty of the game like is possible with valheim plus. I've expanded the inventory, made stamina last a bit longer, and expanded the build range before a building piece breaks, lots of time consuming resources drop 50% to 100% more, etc. I'm open to suggestions on modifying the configuration file.

I want to start out with a maximum of 5 people on the valheim server who use discord. I'm in CST, Central Standard Time zone, and am looking for anyone else who isn't more than 3 hours ahead or behind.

I have already defeated the second boss, and built quite a lot not far from the spawn point, including a very large house and an elaborate bridge. Am wanting to find 2 to 3 players before I progress further.

I'm 24 and am looking for players who are at least 18 or older to join the server after adding on discord.

Comment below, message me here, or on discord. My discord username is: RiskyMotions#8731

I also play Apex Legends and Fortnite from time to time.

  2. Would anyone out there, who plays Age of Empires 3 Definitive Edition be interested in making a mod that allows for unlimited amount of cards in a deck instead of the 25 card limit currently in place?

I've been trying to figure out how to make it so I can combine some of my custom decks together or have more than 25 cards in the deck in AOE 3 DE, however, all the google searches that I've found that do this only work with the original AOE 3, not the Definitive Edition as I have already tried going into my saved games folder and changing the XML file, it just reverts back the save as soon as I launch the game so I've been stuck with 25 cards per deck, no matter what I try.

Could anyone make a mod, or tell me how to mod the game so that I can combine to have say a maximum of 70 cards per deck, or how to simply combine my decks into one in AOE 3 DE?

    Thank you very much.

7k sound a bit much for just mailboxes (from your story i gather 90?)

Quick and rough calculation for that: 4 Dollar per user per month = 4x90x12 = 4320 Dollar per year. So thats 2680 saved already from godaddy vs Microsoft Outlook.

Looking at others like strato and such: 100 mailboxes at 180 Euro per month (200 Dollars) = 2400 Dollars per year.

And i'm sure you could find cheaper ones.

And yeah, take into account what @Dutch_Master says. Just look at the Clintons :D

I appreciate the recommendation of strato and outlook, however we already have the hardware we need for our own email server. Regardless of how cheap the monthly or yearly costs are, we'd still be saving thousands of dollars a year if we hosted our own email server.

What security systems and certificates exactly will I need to prevent our emails from being tossed into people's spam folders?

I would recommend against this. After having the mail on our own server for many years (Exchange), the small cost savings does not hold up against the headaches we had when a server crashed and emails were corrupt. You will also need to setup alot of security systems and certificates to prevent your mail from just being tossed into the spam folder because gmail or outlook could not verify your mail for example.

Viewing everyone's email is easy tho, as you can just setup mailboxes to have multiple owners/editors ect.

I understand you'd recommend against this, however we'll be saving over 7k a year which is worth it to try and figure out how to get this working. We have a Synology NAS we plan on backing up everyone's emails to and putting it in raid 5 or 10 for redundancy, so hopefully that will be enough incase our server crashes.

I've heard about emails being tossed in spam if you have your own email server. I was worried about that. What security systems and certificates exactly will I need to prevent our emails from being tossed into people's spam folders?

Thank you on the advice for viewing emails though. We still would really like the cost savings of our own email server however.

    Thank you very much!

  5. I set up windows on a rackmount form factor pc. I'm the IT administrator at my work and my boss is wanting to save some money on GoDaddy email subscriptions by having our own email server. I've narrowed it down to hMail Server, Zimbra, and Apache James. We want the functionality to be able to view employee's emails, for instance if someone is in contact with one of our competitors talking about confidential information.

We have just under 90 emails currently with GoDaddy and are wanting a way to migrate them all over to our own email server whether it be hMail Server, Zimbra, or Apache James, in an easier fashion than doing each one individually. If that functionality isn't there, does anyone here know the easiest way to go about doing this?

Thank you very much to whoever's the incredible genius to solve this.

PdaNet may do it, though they’ll probably quickly catch on and just terminate your account and you’ll lose your number.

That bitrate would also demolish your 20GB soft cap in no time anyway. That’s like 700MB an hour.

I tried to use it using foxfi with pdanet+ and it didn't work saying "Fail to activate hotspot: Fail to start, please verify your phone contains Hotspot feature."

You fucked up right there. Firstly Comcast (Xfinity) has data caps on their wired broadband internet. They also have been slapped on the wrist before by the FCC for throttling different services like Netflix and Bit torrent.

First of all Comcast does NOT have a wireless network. They lease Verizon's network for their mobile service. While they have expressed that they would like to build a wireless network, that was pretty recently. Between Verizon's network and the free hotspots Comcast offers, thats pretty much the network you have to connect to. So as far as 5G is concerned, Does Verizon have 5G in your area? On top of that Im not sure how Verizon prioritizes data on their network. Id assume MVNO's might not get the highest priority. Keep in mind, Comcast has an agreement with Verizon, they have to follow the rules laid out in the agreement.

I don't use more than the 1.2 TB data cap for my home internet, but I may switch to Metro by Tmobile or Mint for cellular now. I got the 5G icon with regular Tmobile unlimited service but I don't think it was real 5G speeds. I'd love to be on regular Tmobile but it was 85 a month vs xfinity mobile's 45 a month with 10 dollar discount to make it effectively 35.

  8. Background: So I switched from T-Mobile paying 85 a month for unlimited to Xfinity mobile for 45 a month since I have internet with them I get 10 dollars of my internet bill if I have cellular service with them too which is why I switched.

However, not only am I not seeing the 5G icon like I was with T-Mobile and getting around 80mbps down where I live and work on 4g LTE instead of the 120 to 160 I was getting with the 5G icon on T-Mobile but also the representative said my hotspot speeds would be at 4G, 4G LTE, or 5G speeds whichever my phone currently has it would pass to my mobile hotspot as well that I could use for my Wifi tablet that I take on road trips.

Then after switching I realized it was actually capped at 600kbps as mentioned by verge article here: https://www.theverge.com/2018/7/2/17526230/comcast-xfinity-mobile-480p-video-slower-mobile-hotspot

So I've been trying to contact xfinity again several different days. However, I've been on hold each time, mornings, afternoons, or evenings, for around half an hour with no answer.

I'm trying to stream amazon music's 1440kbps songs on my ipad mini mounted in my car, connected to my stereo system because it sounds a lot better than spotify and I enjoy discovering new songs in my car since my work commute is 32 minutes so downloading them offline will only work so well for me.

Question: So instead of switching, since it's effectively 35 a month with the discount for unlimited, I'm wondering if it's possible to use some software or something to override the data speed limit for the mobile hotspot on my unlocked, paid in full galaxy note 20 ultra 5g that I ordered from samsung.com?

Update: Found something regarding overriding tmobile's idk if someone could figure out how to make that override work with xfinity mobile: https://android.gadgethacks.com/how-to/bypass-t-mobiles-tethering-limit-for-free-0161404/

Here's what my settings look like for mobile networks

Not seeing how you need 12 cores for Apex and Fortnite, is what I mean.  More cores don't just automatically mean better performance like that.  You'd be fine with a 5600x.

Because I can afford it and I want mo' power baby.

Would get a 5950x if it was in stock and didn't have less framerate in some games than a 5900x.

And 5900x can be overclocked more than a 5600x I believe.

I assume by a pre-order you paid full price?

I personally wouldn't pay for something over 4 months before I get it, unless it was a custom job of some sort.

I'd cancel and pick it up when it's back in stock somewhere else.

Are you upgrading from that 6800K to a 12 core 3900X?  Why?

I paid 550 plus tax, so yes, full price, but I won't be charged until it ships and I can cancel it anytime before then so I'll just wait until I if I can find it somewhere else sooner then I'll cancel my B&H order once it arrives from wherever I've potentially found it.

I'm upgrading from a i7 6800k to a ryzen 5900x because of framerate dips to 80 in apex and fortnite when I want a consistent 240fps.

That is insane. You can still somewhat buy them here and from what the sites are telling is that they'll get a small shipment in next week and the week after of all amd cpu's but the 5800x as those are widely available.

I mean is it in my best interest to keep my place in line though? I cannot find them in stock anywhere else.

  12. So long story short... Got a preorder in at 8:05am on November 5th launch day for a 5900x and then I got an email from B&H saying it won't be here until March 2021, and they'll update me in December 2020 if things change. I can wait, but does this mean I should get an AMD 6900XT or Nvidia 3090 before then to make sure I can consistently hit the desired 240fps on 1440p without huge dips?

  13. Preordered a 5900x at 8:05am on November 5th launch day and it was then put on back order, and I just got this email from B&H Photo. Am I really going to have to wait that long?

Update: I gave them a call and they said that they don't know how much they'll get in each shipment and they get shipments every 2 weeks from AMD so it is possible that they may ship more in later shipments.

    Update 2:

I paid 550 plus tax, so yes, full price, but I won't be charged until it ships and I can cancel it anytime before then so I'll just wait until I if I can find it somewhere else sooner then I'll cancel my B&H order once it arrives from wherever I've potentially found it.

  14. I currently have an H115i with noctua pwm fans and an i7 6800k, I placed an order for a 5900x that should be coming next week.

I'll be using a asus x570 dark hero when it comes out. And I know most of it has to do with silicone lottery... however...

I'm wondering if I want to be overclocking it to it's maximum potential about how many mghz would I be missing out on if I decided to just keep what I have instead of upgrading to a 360mm rad?
