  1. I have read about this issue, my ram usage is about 70% - 90%. My cpu is also at 100% when a game is loaded. I can't tell if this is bad or just cause i have an i5.
  2. Yeah, however it makes the game even more unplayable at an even lower fps.
  3. My monitors refresh rate is 60Hz, my gpu temp is 65 degrees max and cpu goes up to 70 degress. In Battlefield i usually get around 80fps, tf2 it's 200fps, Gta is 70-80fps. My case only has the the one fan pulling air out.
  4. My specs: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/JohnF/saved/8H88TW Almost every game i play lags and stutters even though i can achieve high fps. I get this with Battlefield 4, GTA:V, Team Fortress 2, Guild Wars 2 and others. I've monitored temps and they are all normal, no random high temp. The GPU is at stock speed however I've noticed it throttles back when the stuttering starts. Like it's thermal throttling even though the temps are no where near hot enough. I've got the latest drivers for all my hardware and i have a wired connection. I don't have a full version of windows 8.1, however it is 64-bit. I plan on buying it very soon into the future. Any help on this would be great! Just ask if you need anymore info. EDIT: I will go into more info on each game. Battlefield 4: The game plays fine for 30 -40 mins then crashes to desktop with a gpu handle error message. GTA:V : Really werid, sometime it plays fine and sometimes i get crippling lag. I have to set the game to high priority to be able to play at 60fps however it is hit and miss. Team Fortress 2: Game runs fine fr 10- 20 mins then crippling stuttering and lag with the sound looping. Sometimes crashes after. Guild Wars 2: Played fine for the first 100 hours (60+), then fps took a violent shit (15 - 30) and has never recovered. Other games have slight stuttering which is annoying as they mostly play 60+ fps.
  5. It's got to the point where my Razer DA has started playing up, so I'm looking for a new mouse. I've only got this mouse because a friend recommend it to me. I'm going into this with no knowledge what so ever. Is there a list of highly rated mice with pros and cons etc? The price I'm looking at it around £50 or below, stretching to £60 in extreme cases. I would say I have a claw grip (I think), and use the extra buttons on the Razer. Any help would be amazing!
  6. "This usb stick holds a massive 1tb of data! Desktops are dead." meanwhile it says best price of £1000!!! A hard drive of 1tb is £40...so much bullshit. I can't comprahend how stupid they are, calling it a "gadget show"
  7. That just makes it worse, increases the volume of the track and the hissing gets too intense.
  8. Hey, When ever i record myself playing guitar there is this huge hiss in the recording. I've just got my new condenser mic and my reasonably new usb interface. mic - http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000CZ0RLK/ref=s9_simh_gw_p267_d3_i1?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=1XJA5AJWGKKKXE6SE7ED&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=455344027&pf_rd_i=468294 usb audio interface - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Behringer-302USB-Xenyx-Input-Mixer/dp/B005EHILV4/ref=sr_1_4?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1421785283&sr=1-4&keywords=behringer+usb+audio+interface I will admit they are very budget, so I'm not expecting some over produced song coming out of these. More to the point here is the hiss i get. (Excuse the horrible playing) They are named according to what I'm doing. https://soundcloud.com/epic-squid/sets/hiss-problem I'm running my interface as the main hub and the mic is in front of my amp. I've used a cheap £13 mic before and it hasn't produced this hiss even with the interface. Any help would be awesome!
  9. That's awesome, but i was thinking more PC orientated.
  10. It would be awesome, A rap video about the best Cpu's, Gpu's, motherboard and all things PCMR! IT WOULD BE GLORIOUS! Anyone else agree?
  11. Yeah that's the reason why I bought Verdun, great game I should add. Red Orchestra crashes more than I get to play it though.
