  3. Thanks will take the cooler of tonight it is doing windows update atm let you know what happend
  4. Hello folks, I bought a seccondhand hp s5000 slimline desktop with a core 2 quad: q8300 i booted the machine and did a factory reset. i noticed when i start a program or something it starts blowing violently. so i opened hwmonitor and the cpu is touching 95 to a 100 quite fast after instaling aida64 and starting a stresstest it imidiatly throteld to hell when hwmonitor tells me the cpu is at 60 or 70 i can touch the heatsink and it is cold do i have a bad mount or somethng? Thanks in advance Greetings snert98
  5. i didnt look up how fast it is but thought since i had it laying around maybe i could try but if it doesnt do shit i wont go through the effort of installing it
  6. Hello folks I have a pc atm with an i5 and a gtx970 Rest of the specs underneath my message. My dad picked up a few pc's from his work and one of them containd a quadro fx 580. I want to add that to my pc for fokding at home. At the moment im folding at my gtx970 while not gaming but my pc basicly is always running so i thought maybe i can add the quadro for folding. So my question is that possible? Greetings
  7. hello folks since a litle while i powerd up my gaming pc and i want to stream games to my laptop via steam, my gaming pc is connected via ethernet and my laptop via wifi but they dont show up in the inhome streaming menu, both are logged on to the same account, does anyone know how to solve this? Thanks in advance snert98
  8. I think you should save up and buy a newer card and buy something like r9 380 or gtx 970 or wait for new gen. instead of using crossfire you wil not have enough vram
  9. basicly the i5 would be enough for casual gaming but if you have the money i7 is better especialy if you are planing to render some video and stuff like that but for more cpu questions make a topic in the cpu thread
  10. basicly watch out for the temps run a stress test in AIda64 for example if temps are reasonable max 80c then it wont realy hurt the lifespan. though if the oc is stable try to lower the voltage as much as you can while the oc is still stable because lower voltage means lower temps means longer life
  11. i have a twinfrozer gtx 970 it starts the fans at 65c but if you are not comfortable you can make a custom profile in msi afterburner and set the treshhold to for example 40c why you are getting low fps i cant tell, try to see your cpu/gpu usage/temps while in game if your cpu is 100% and gpu lower you are bottlenecked by cpu. other if your gpu is 100% and still low fps there is something else wrong like to litle ram
  12. it is far within safe but it is quite high for idle, check if your card has a 0db or 0fan mode some cards shut down their fans completely at idle but then the temps will be higher
  13. thank you for your help i will try it with the hdd plugged in i know which port the ssd is on so it should be easy to id ill let you know if it worked
  14. no sadly not looked at a teardown and it seems like i need to remove the keyboard and the whole bottom but if i instal it on the ssd with hdd plugged in what would the problem be?
