Tuner4life's Achievements

  1. I use a VPN on a regular basis because I use a lot of coffee shop hotspots and have caught someone using a wifi pineapple at one of them (obviously my home network isn't in Starbucks). I'm currently using ProXPN, and I head of Nord Vpn from an ad and I was wondering if anyone uses them and could tell me what their speed is like. They claim that they "double encrypt" your data using AES-256-CBC (no idea what cbc is) and SSL-based 2048-bit encryption. Anyone have any thoughts about it?
  2. I am trying to rip part of my dvd collection to a 4TB drive in my HTPC. I have tried a few programs and They are ripping them with huge borders around them in the video. Does anyone know why this is happening or what other programs I could use?
  3. I tried resetting my rig to get it to auto detect my monitor (Dell U2212HMc) but my monitor keeps going to sleep automatically, and I can't disable sleep mode, so I dont know if it is helping or not.
  4. To start off, I have an ASRock FM2A88X Mobo. On the rear I/O, there is an HDMI input so that you can run a hdmi device through your computer without changing video plugs on the back of my monitor. Me and my dorm mates wanted to start recording a few Lets Play type videos as filler for his Youtube channel. I got to thinking, hey can I pump the video into my PC, and have it screen capture the video from an Xbox 360? Whenever I hit ALT+Tab to change programs, it says to switch video inputs, press ALT+C. I did that and nothing happens. I gave it a quick Google, and it says that your moniter had tto be plugged into your motherboard. I undid that DVI from my 280X, and plugged it into my mobo I/O. It wont send a video output through it. Is there any way to still use my R9 280x, but output my video stream from my mobo I/O? (Also, has anyone used this ASRock HDMI Switch before, and any comments about it) PC: Windows 7 Pro ASRock FM2A88X Sapphire R9 280x Dual X AMD 760k O.C.4.2gz
  5. My favorite food is chimichanga, because chimichangas dude. no more explanation required.
  6. I haven't owned a Sony phone since I had a Sony Ericson flip phone back in ~06 (it wasn't that great). However, I am impressed with the Z 1&2. The part that I'm most excited about is rear camera and general construction/design aesthetic. I have seen a few dbrand phones and every one that I've seen looks amazing. They do a great job with their skins.
  7. My favorite jay video has to be the infamous Titian Z video and for TechQuicky it would have to be the Ambient Occlusion video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJfICfX2-_0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbWV58AH9eg
  8. *Update I disabled and uninstalled the graphics drivers. I updated to the 14.7 beta (I was using 14.2) and I am still having the same foreign objects in game and in State of Decay, the screen is cutting out (ony for 3-5 seconds) even more than before. (Sidenote I checked MSI Afterburners' cpu graph and I was peaking at ~85% cpu load across cores 1&2 and ~78% on 3&4 so I might need to upgrade my processor) Afterburner wont allow me to see the core voltage even though I went in to the setting and enabled core voltage modification.
  9. Has anyone else had major artifact issues and driver crashes with this card? I picked it up on sale on amazon, and in certain games (i.e. Bioshock Infinite, State of Decay, Skyrim) the issues happen very frequently. But in Need For Speed: Rivals, Borderlands 2, and Assassins Creed 4 the card runs perfectly fine and I wont get an error out of it.
