  1. I am currently building a new pc using a Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX and a 850w Be-Quiet (Straight Power 11). For some reason I am stuck on where to plug the power connectors for the 7800X3D Could you guys tell me how to plug them exactly? Single ATX_12V1 or ATX_12V? CPU-P4 seems to fit into ATX_12V1 no problem, leaving CPU-P8 open. The system boot into Bios no problem but I do not want any trouble later on.
  2. - All fans are 140mm. They came pre-installed with the case. - I'd rather have lower RPMS whenever possible. - I'll keep your warning regarding the gpu-sag in mind.
  3. - Why 120mm over 140mm? - No fans on top - The GPU-sag is only aesthetic issue. It has been like this for over a year without getting worse. - Front has metallic mesh-cover for good airflow
  4. I have a be quiet! Silent Base 802 case and I am using it with the preinstalled fans. My CPU-Cooler is the Noctua DH-15 My GPU is a Powercolor 6950XT Red Devil I want to improve the temps and overall airflow of my setup and wanted to ask if adding 2x140mm extra fans on the top would be a good idea? If so, should I install them for intake or exhaust? Im quite the noob in these matter and need proper advice.
  5. - So far, I have always had good experiences with Gigabyte motherboards. Also, my friend who is using the MSI-MB reported issues with it. - Another m2-SSD will not hurt. I asked her about it and she would rather have some extra storage. The extra-cost is no biggie, she says. - So far, I have always had great experiences with PSUs from Be Quiet, and the customer support here in Germany has been great so far. That is why I opted for them. - I will probably go back to the original GPU I had chosen, the RX 7900xt. It is much better as you pointed out but I contemplated whether getting a weaker gpu since the rig will be used for 1440p-gaming only.
  6. Took your feedback into consideration and tweaked the setup like this: https://www.mindfactory.de/shopping_cart.php/basket_action/load_basket_extern/id/8a9d792217bfbbe6a86bf5c9b32c725b014606b3af43ed63619 What do you think?
  7. Budget (including currency): ~2000€ Country: Germany Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: 1440p Gaming Other details https://www.mindfactory.de/shopping_cart.php/basket_action/load_basket_extern/id/e9a9ac22149291b95cf6b28c615e291c38a54f0e1c81c4432c6 After going through the suggestions from a prior post, I have come up with this setup and I am looking for feedback. Not everything was chosen for the optimal price/performance as my sister really likes the case for example. I want a system with well-balanced components that will let her game comfortably for the next 2-3 years. Feel free to suggest better configs
  8. How is this configuration? https://www.mindfactory.de/shopping_cart.php/basket_action/load_basket_extern/id/da5d932217a7598b4acb89517a1afaccd546689a748b81325a7 Total Price : ~ 2200€ She can choose the peripherals herself so I only focused on the rig and monitor
  9. Ty for your suggestions, they will help out a lot finding a good setup!
  10. Budget (including currency): 2000-2500€ Country: Germany Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: 1440p, 144hz+ Gaming Other details Budget is meant for PC, keyboard, mouse and monitor My sister wants to get herself a complete gaming setup and I am looking for different ideas. Given the decent budget, there seem to be plenty of options to choose from. I think deducting around 100-150€ for mouse and keyboard is enough, as choosing those is completely up to personal preference. This leaves us around 2000-2400€ for the PC and a monitor. I think a 1440p, 144hz+ gaming setup makes the most sense for the budget. The monitor should not be bigger than 27" (16:9). How much of the remaining budget should be allocated to the monitor? I need help to come up with good configurations. Any ideas?

He will migrate his old drives and will get a Thermalright PA as a cooler. Nevertheless, would the boxed cooler suffice? He wants to stick to AM5, knowing that the 5800X3D would provide higher fps. My friend will use it for 1080p-Gaming and won't upgrade his monitor anytime soon.
  12. Which mobo and cooler go well with that 5800X3D?

Are there any problems with this configuration in terms of compatibility?
