  1. After seeing the price of the new R9 380, is it worth going for that over a 960/780ti?
  2. I won't be buying until august time anyway, so i guess you're right
  3. Care to explain some more for future reference?
  4. Honestly not sure, probably an EVGA one as i dont wan fancy colors (im going for a black/white design)
  5. This is probably common sense but need some opinions I'll be buying off ebay (unless anyone can find UK sites cheaper than here) Do i go for the older, but in my opinion better option, the 780ti http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR10.TRC0.A0.H0.X780ti.TRS0&_nkw=780ti&_sacat=0 Or the newer 960 http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_odkw=780ti&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR10.TRC0.A0.H0.X960.TRS0&_nkw=960&_sacat=0 *WILL NOT BE PURCHASING ANYTHING UNTIL AUGUST THOUGHT I'D MENTION THAT*
  6. Hey guys, so to link both monitors to my pc, ive decided to try this http://www.amazon.co.uk/iSolem-1080P-Switch-Input-Output/dp/B006KZBC92 This'll let me plug in a hdmi from my pc to the box then two more from each monitor into the thing. Im doing this because one monitor is actually a tv and only supports hdmi so no other things are possible.. Would this work, it says works for ps3/4 and "many more" so i assume it would work for pc right
  7. Cool thanks for the opinions, forgot to add im using a gtx 660 so the odd ration wouldn't work to well with a mid level card. I'll stick with the BenQ i chose originally
  8. After seeing the LG 29UM67 on Overclockers.co.uk for such a low price, it got me thinking, this could be a great option considering linus' review of it. My other option was the benq rl2445hm which has a better input lag (1ms v 5ms) but i feel the extra width of the screen would help me loads in terms of school work and multitasking. I saw a forum which said it feels very choppy on this monitor, is this true? is there a way around this, otherwise i would much rather go with the less wide benq if it gives me better performance?
  9. What would you recommend? £75 max, i play csgo and have no need for a numpad
  10. http://www.amazon.co.uk/computers/dp/B00I6CVYAE/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1444326524&sr=8-9&keywords=mechanical+keyboard looking to get this k40 and it gives me to options, cg and raptor, apart from the finish difference is there any actual difference inside?
  11. Ok, so in the next year, I will be upgrading my PC. I'm sticking with AMD and was gonna go for the 9590, don't worry I will be air cooling with a noctua cooler in the future too. The big upgrade is the GPU, going from a 660, to a 780. I feel a 970 would be over kill even for me. SO, the big question. I went onto numerous psu calculators , put these specs in, mixed with my current ram, etc. they all had different results, between 500 and 700. My current supply is a 600w. In my opinion, i feel it'd be wise to upgrade? But I need your opinions on it. Current Rig: fx 6300, msi 970 gaming mobo gtx 660 8gb corsair ram 600w corsair cx supply 1x1tb hdd nzxt h440 Future Rig: fx 9590, msi 970 gaming mobo gtx 780 8gb corsair ram ---Suggested Power Supply--- 1x1tb hdd and 1 ssd nzxt h440 noctua air cooler OR corsair h110 depending on which is cooler
  12. Oh shit, i forgot, i do have radiator, im tired! Lemme edit the post!
  13. Hello, I want to do a sanity check to make sure i order the right amount of fittings for my loop. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-421-EK These are the fittings I want, it comes with one Fitting. I want to know how many i'll need if my loop goes. Reservoir --> Pump Pump ---> CPU Block CPU Block ---> Radiator Radiator ---> Reservoir. Will i need 4? 8? 31031? Thanks
  14. You can barely see the cutouts but NZXT could've provided grommets for like what a few £££'s more?!
  15. I wanted to try some very minor modding by either making grommets or finding grommets that fit the holes by the 8 pin and the cut outs for bottom ports on the motherboard
