    This computer is relatively 'fresh.' Other than drivers, the only things installed are Adobe Creative Cloud, Steam and Chrome. My main 'daily driver' is a Mac and this PC was built mainly for gaming and there's just so many things I'm running into on Windows 8.1 that I've never had to deal with. Also.. I usually close all programs before I get away from the computer. The only background processes that should be running at that time is Steam and Adobe Creative Cloud, I imagine. I don't see why that would be an issue.

    Thanks for the advice, but I'm looking to diagnose the problem instead of just avoiding it.

    @Maximation: If you're just looking to host some files, there are plenty of services out there that allow you to do so (for free, sometimes). I don't see why you would need your own web server to do this. If you're looking to actually create a website, then are you looking to actually create your site from scratch or use a template-based approach? Will you be needing a back end database or processing power? There are literally hundreds of hosts out there that can offer you "unlimited everything" for just a few bucks a month, but I generally advise people to stay away from these host for various reasons.

    I'm running Windows 8.1 and I'm not sure what's going on, but I've ran into this problem pretty often. After putting itself to sleep, my computer is very slow to wake up. The screen wakes up, but the computer gets stuck on the lock screen for a moment before finally shifting the lock screen up and allowing me to type my password. Currently, my computer boots up from a complete shutdown much faster than waking up. Any ideas?

    Whoops! Didn't realize they only had the X7 and X9. If it's any consolation, I've found some past sales that they had during the holidays. Seems like 20% off is fairly common for them, during these events, and they usually add in some "free" gifts. Guess I'm holding out 'till Black Friday to pick up that TKL.

    Yeah.. I just find a lot of gaming-branded keyboards don't have the aesthetics I'm looking for.. I really like Das Keyboard's design. Recently bought a DasKeyboard 4 Professional and I think it's an excellent keyboard, but I really want a TKL, now.. I'm gonna return it and buy the TKL from Max Keyboard..

    @Faceman I appreciate the help. You're right about reverting. I was actually thinking of just going back to the defaults and leaving it at that, at least until I gain better knowledge of overclocking. The computer does run fine and I haven't experienced any crashes, even with hours of continuous gameplay with simultaneous recording. Just wish it could be stable during stress testing, too.     Ok.. That made things worse. Or maybe I'm not changing the right settings? I changed the "CPU Core Voltage" from Auto to Manual and that gave me a the "CPU Core Voltage Override" field. I typed in the voltage it's displaying for Auto (1.088). Tried to boot into OS but it stalls or just restarts at the Window splash screen after about half a spin of the loading spinner.

    Currently it is set to auto, since I haven't made any attempts to overclock it -- I don't know enough about that yet. If I change that to manual, should I just input the voltage it currently has?

    The error it gives is Whea_Uncorrectable_Error (Or something like that. I don't remember exactly) I've tried with Prime95 and Aida64 Extreme.

    I believe so. There's no wiggle and during idle, none of the cores reach 40 deg.

    Hello all. I recently built a new computer (my first build) and everything -seems- to work fine, under normal use. Whenever I try to stress test it, however, I get the blue screen error just after a few minutes. None of my components are overclocked in anyway and the temperatures don't seem that bad, to me. (Core 1 reached 75 deg) At first, I thought it may have been a faulty PSU not supplying enough power, but even after replacing the PSU, I still get the crashes. Also note that I've tried stress testing with both, each GPU individually and without a GPU, but the problem persists. Can anyone help me figure out what's wrong?
