Yea I have it on max, went to pagefile and it was system managed I disabled ssd pagefile which was set to 8gb, but added one to my storage HDD. Was just the default, I heard a while back about ssd's and pagefile but a friend told me the samsung software sorts it all out, obviously not. Thats standard advice for win 8.1 then, no pagefile with SSD's? will post back after suffiecent testing Thanks

My pc will crash every so often when I play games, it never happens playing csgo even after hours but will often crash other games like tomb raider and wolfenstien. I made that unallocated space into a partiton and didnt give it a drive letter as i dont want a little drive showing up. Plugged into sata3 port and it works now ant gonna bother trying to merge, using partition magic or something like that, was hoping could do it in windows. but doesnt matter now

Hey guys, Reinstalled windows 8.1 on to a ssd and now my storage HDD doesnt work on sata 3. One thing was different in the install which could be related, at the point you select the drive to install on custom the storage HDD (1tb) had a MSR 129mb parition which I dont usually see. Usually its the SSD that has the MSR parition along with a recovery one (off the top of my head). I deleted this parition and now under drive management in windows it is unallocated space before the 931 GB parition. Ive installed windows 8.1 atleast 10 times and never had this problem so this is the only thing that is different from previous installs so is it related and also how can I merge this small unallocated space back to the rest of the paritioned drive, maybe this will fix my prob. currently got the cable in one of the sata2 ports but i want it on the sata3 any idea's? v276 fault I had this, was aweful, got a v277 after, works a treat.

is it not 250 watt? look at the specs which will be on its label and get the 12v+ amp rating but if its 250w its gonna be no good, you dont need anything fancy just a reasonable 450w, try get one with a 6 pin plug but you can get away with using a 500w psu without them and use an adaptor. Thats if you are shopping the used market and need something cheap. My friend ran a 7870 fine on a psu with no dedicated 6 pin and used the adaptor that came with the GPU, but this is last resort, not ideal.

anyone know if the 8+8 on the G1 is of any real benefit over the 8+6 pin on the msi for overclocking without over volting
