  1. I've used a ton of mouse pads out there and I really do prefer hard mats. my favorite soft mat is a QCK Heavy and I actually still have mine. my main mat for a while and I loved is the Razer Manticore I have had so many hours on the mat and it still looks brand new with no wear whatsoever but I like to check out different mats and I test mice a lot. ordered a Func 1030XL dual sided mat and used the smooth surface and I fell in love right away. I first played CS:GO and it just felt so dang good and precise and felt almost as if I sat down with func and had them custom make one for me. so I glad I purchased this mat. the included Cable managment clip is pretty awesome too. I had my cable managed a different way but this is a little cleaner and you cant feel any cable drag whatsoever just feels wireless. took a few photos just posting for anyone looking into this mat you wont be disappointed. Pics: here
  2. Filco Majestouch Tenkeyless , Corsair k65, CM storm quickfire stealth
  3. Rival. I have owned all 3 and the rival was my fav out of the ones you mentioned. I really like thye feel of the sensei raw edition but there was noticable permanent acceleration and thats what turned me off. rival has some smoothing but really not enough to notice. rival is also optical which is better imo. might also wanna check out the G502, Mionix Avior 7000 or Zowie FK1
  4. I had the Deathstalker ultimate and then got a k70 and gave the Deathstalker to my nephew. the Deathstalker was pretty cheaply made for the price and just didn't feel like it would last more than a couple of years. Mechanical is the way to go almost everyone's typing speed improves once they go mechanical and they are just way better altogether.
  5. A mouse is one of if not the most important components in your gaming. I know some are on a budget but its best to save if you have to and get the best you can get vs just going for a mouse based on price. just my opinion. death adder is a great deal right now I saw em today at best buy for $39 but if I was shopping for a mouse I would still spend the extra to get the g502 its a way better mouse. also this place has FK1's in stock but not for long and they are even better than the g502's http://www.superbiiz.com/detail.php?name=MOS-FK1
  6. The G502 is an awesome mouse I have had many many hours with it and is not a bad choice at all. I am just saying if you want the best then the fk1 is worth waiting a little bit to find one somewhere in stock. its really good to jump on them once they are in here is a place that has them in stock but I bet not for long and limited to 1 per customer http://www.superbiiz.com/detail.php?name=MOS-FK1 you can get them on amazon and they usually up the price for supply and demand but it would still be worth it.
  7. Not exactly that's kinda a misconception people are having because it looks almost identical. the g402 uses the g100s sensor and the g502 has an entirely different sensor that is a lot more accurate and can be tuned to a specific surface. in other words the g402 is not just a cheaper g502.
  8. The zowie really is that much better than the G502. Zowie is very reputable within competition players and pros. fk1 doesn't use any type of software at all and to change the dpi there is a button on the bottom. its like audio the best audio equipment you cant just go into best buy and pick it up you have to order it. same goes with Zowie. I think I am actually going to sell my G502 probably for $40 on ebay. the FK1 is so much better I wont use the G502 anymore.
  9. Yes you can just wash in cold water and let air dry.
  10. G502 has a more accurate sensor and overall better build quality. If you play FPS I would get the Zowie FK1. I have both the G502 and FK1 and the FK1 is much better.
  11. G502 is an awesome mouse its my second fav mouse of the many many mouse ive owned and tried. if you want the absolute best i would hunt down a Zowie FK1. Keyboards I'd go with k70 or cm storm quickfire, ducky shine, filco majestouch.
  12. soft mat I would go for the QCK Heavy or if thats too much and too big you can go QCK mass which is basically the same only smaller and can be had for about $12. for a hard mat the Razer Manticore is amazing but pricey.
