Hey guys, still new to this website but it's awesome to see Techtips website to find out some answers when it comes to hardware conundrum.
I'm an artist, not a professional but someone who's getting around. I've been designing fictional stories and deep detailed species and worlds, simply I like having fun creating things specially once I get a brain storm.
I love designing futuristic architect structures to see the future of every city we know today with a little tweak of awesome buildings of my own design.

I don't have a desktop as it's yet to be bought in parts and built.

  1. Ah dude! Having a mechanical keyboard will be great tho I think I'll hand this to my brother cause his keyboard is falling apart and buttons becoming useless.
  2. I've been thinking, with the major downside of Windows 10 this PC I'm running feels like a car with no gas. But it still works. So if I revert back to Windows 7, what's the catch? My brother told me that if I do that, do I lose the ability to come back to Windows 10? If the new OS is finally fixed. I read up the guide on replacing the unstable updates Win 10 came with- but according what what my brother thinks. He has a custom rig of his own as well. I should of removed all the nvidia drivers before I upgraded. I even tried uninstalling the nvidia drivers and that failed to uninstall- like. Windows 10 has a death grip on what ever you got from 7. Idea is that, if I to revert back to 7. Do I lose my free upgrade back to Windows 10. If it's fixed.
  3. So I finally got Windows 10 upgrade. It's awesome, great and it's pretty much what I expected but with such a downfall I did not expect and I wish I should of waited.. But I'm not sure if I'm the only one with this problem. So I tried to run a simple game, one game I always play but then I get this message that did not made any sense. My graphics card is an MSI 760 OC Edition. That my Graphics card is no supported. I figured my diver was missing which also I figured is totally messed up, so I tried installing the claimed and so called latest driver to run on windows 10 but it failed to install. Invidia Installer failed. There are two images I have uploaded to see the screen shots to see for your self what those look like, so I hope there's something going on that I'm missing. So far I have talked to my dad about it so we looked up some article to see anyone else is experiencing this exact issue I'm having. I tried running Bioshock Infinite sense it's developed with the support of AMD. I barely full launched and it was totally not exactly what I thought it'll turn out. So far all I'm seeing is everyone is getting an issue with directX, some issues that's only happened to the technical users. Not the end users. And the forums I see in this site is all about unable to get the upgrade. And nvidia drivers crashing. But in my case, I don't see my nvidia driver. It's like missing, and trying to install the installation fails.
  4. The speculation of the card, is really awesome! And it's design makes it appear exotic with the carbon fiber.
  5. Hey everyone, I'm pretty new on these forums and I have followed the linustechtips channel for quite a long time and everything I've learned is awesome. |D But, I have a curious question about two different graphics cards I'm having trouble deciding. Tho I'm curious about one thing if it's possible, to SLI a Geforce card and a Quadro together. I'm building my first desktop and I have two passions, gaming and art. Geforce hold good promises for performance with gaming but they don't have the greatest structure when it comes to art like Autodesk Maya and Photoshop. That's when I looked into Quadro, and what I've learned about the quadro they're straight built for workstation performance for rendering and digital art painting. Tho, my brother has stumped me on a dicision, on only sticking with Quadro for art but they won't do well for gaming or go for Geforce, they can do well but they won't be the greatest for fast rendering nor smooth work for digital art. So my question is. Is it possible to SLI a Geforce and a Quadro? My idea on how to is that, I can run the Geforce mainly for it's performance and rendering when it comes to games but also Art while the Quadro will run as a PhysX card and other software it has for art. To have a win win to have a desktop that I finally have for Art but with out comprimising my passion for gaming.
