  1. So i managed to order the windforce model of the 2070 SUPER before i went to bed. I realized that it wasn't the GAMING OC version. WINDFORCE: https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N207SWF3OC-8GC GAMING: https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N207SGAMING-OC-8GC#kf It's too late to cancel order now. Is it really worth returning it and getting the gaming OC one? Like i know the the gaming one has lower dB, heat, better fans and heatsink.. But the margins, are they worth it? Any opinions?
  2. Any ideas as to why that is though? It only happens the first time i launch computer after having it shut down over the night. So it's hard to recreate and test my stability. I would have to wait another day possibly to recreate the crash. How much volt can i push the I7-4770k to? Im at 1.29V with 4.5ghz atm with a Noctua dual fan air cooler which is pretty awesome. The DRAM is running at 1.55V. Any other specs i haven't touched really, because I don't have much experience.
  3. But it happens once. then its fine and can run for unlimited time after.
  4. Overclock crash at exactly 10minutes each time. what does that mean?
  5. Your previous overclock has failed. Thats about it. MSI motherboard. And the only thing i do is to save the same overclock setting and then it works for the entire day lol.
  6. So im running i7-4770k on 4.5ghz - 1.29V The overclock crash happens at 10minutes exactly of startup each time. Now after booting into BIOS and doing F10 and reset it will be able to run with the same settings for the rest of the day without crashing at all. Anyone have any idea? The answer has to be related to the 10minutes mark.
  7. So i've kept running my 4.5ghz on 1.29V overclock. But whatever i seem to do. it crashes at 10minutes mark. 10minutes exactly each time. and after that 1 crash it can run forever.
  8. So i use a i7-4770k which i have overclocked to: 4.5 Ghz and 3900 ring ratio Cores at 1.25V Ram 1600mhz with 1.63V The cooler is a nhd-15 with 2 fan setup. The scenario is that it crashes after 10-20 minutes and then after that it is totally fine for gaming the rest of the day (10-12 hours). Is that being unstable? Is this a sign of something? And no, i put the overclock settings back on after the crash so that ain't the reason for why its stable after 1 crash.
  9. I'm pretty sure it's one of the the 2 answers above, but not sure which one. Anyone got any more input?
  10. Where to put OS and where to put games?: HDD 1TB (slowest) CORSAIR FORCE 3 SSD 60GB (pretty slow) SAMSUNG SSD 840 EVO 250GB (medium) MP510 960GB M.2 SSD (fastest) Motherboard Z97 Gaming 5. For gaming performance, where would you put your games and where would you put your OS? I also read that motherboards may have 1 or 2 data buses, but i assume mine has 1.
  11. The M.2 Slot specs: 1x 2280 Key M(PCIe Gen2 x2/SATA) Would that work with the link you gave? Haven't really read up on SATA, PCIE 2 and 3.
  12. So the MP510 960GB M.2 SSD is on sale I own a MSI Z97 GAMING 5 +(ADAPTER)+ Now to achieve the best speed, what adapter would work? (please a link) Also, is it worth it for gaming? 10GB/s vs 20GB/s?
  13. I want to be able to move around and also talk. Added budget to topic. 200USD.
