  1. Same thing here we want dates! I am building my PC september 12, I would so much love if it is released september 8!
  2. I am building this PC: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/jedylan/saved/ytfmP6 and I want to be sure I will be able to run games like battlefield and assassin's creed at Ultra settings, on the 34" Ultrawide 1440p monitor. I might add a second 780 in few moths but I won't if it is not needed. Should I step up to 780Ti?
  3. Yes I have but I am still not sure about the aspect ratio. It is same height as 27" same price as dual 27" but less screen real estate. I am looking at every possibility
  4. Building a gtx780 based pc that I will use for video editing, photo editing, music mixing and gaming. I am currently looking at monitors and cant choose between the Asus PB278Q and PA248Q. I would buy two of them (If I take the PB278Q I will have to wait a few weeks before buying the second and I would need to buy a calibrator) Is Dual 27" too much? Is the quality of the PA much better?
  5. 3500$ Build with a i7-4790K and gtx780 6go I am not sure if I will overclock but if I do it, it wont be intense overclocking I was hesitating between: MSI Gaming 5: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-motherboard-z97gaming5 Asus ROG Hero: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-maximusviihero You can propose other options.
  6. Having about 1000$ budget for monitors, that will be running on a 6gb gtx780, I am wondering if I am better off with one Ultrawide 34" screen (only the LG at 1100$ is out but AOC is making a 800-900$ one) or Dual 27" 1440p monitors http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-monitor-pb278q. I am doing Video Photo and Audio editing work as well as gaming. A plus with the dual monitors is I can buy one later so I can save more money. They also give a wider viewing space than one ultrawide but they have a bezel in the middle so no gaming on both monitors. By the way I am upgrading from one 21.5" monitor
  7. Would love so much this monitor but I think its a bit pricy
  8. I am planing a pc build for the end of august. This PC will be used for Video, Photo and Sound Editing primarily (With the Adobe Suite), but I will also game on it (Assassin's Creed Series, Battlefield 4). I need a new monitor or more than one, depends on size and price of the monitor. I will need suggestions I will need a new OS, I love Windows 7 and hate Windows 8 (wich my girlfriend has) I had in mind to maybe upgrade to Windows 9 when it gets out I plan to buy the corsair K70RGB and M65RGB but you can suggest something else For the case I am looking for a sturdy, professional looking case with a window (I was currently looking at The Fractal R4 Blackout and Phantecks Enthoo Pro) I am upgrading from a 500$ rig wich does not have the power to edit Full HD video. I plan to upgrade this build's Ram and Graphics Card to SLI in the future. I am now looking at two part lists and am not sure what I should go for 1: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/jedylan/saved/ytfmP6 2: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/jedylan/saved/X8ZzK8 Or other configuration if you have one to propose.
  9. Im still not sure but I tried windows 8 and realy did not like it. Im sure windows 9 will be better but I dont want to wait until next spring
  10. I have a 3200$CAD Buget for my PC, everything must be included in the price, I will order the parts online. I also Plan to upgrade Ram and Graphics Card to SLI in the future. This PC will be used for Video, Photo and Sound Editing primarily(With the Adobe Suite), but I will also game on it(Assassin's Creed Series, Battlefield 4). I need a new monitor (or more than one, depends on size and price of the monitor) since I have a cheap 21.5" I will need a new OS, I love Windows 7 and hate Windows 8 (wich my girlfriend has) I had in mind to maybe upgrade to Windows 9 when it gets out I plan to buy the corsair K70RGB and M65RGB but you can suggest something else For the case I am looking for a sturdy, professional looking case with a window (I was currently looking at The Fractal R4 Blackout and Phantecks Enthoo Pro) I am upgrading from a 500$ rig wich does not have the power to edit Full HD video. I already have my own part list(http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/jedylan/saved/ytfmP6) but I want to know what you guys come up with (preferably pcpartpicker lists).
  11. I am building in late august. Is there a release date?
  12. I can definetly run it its just the price I think is high.
  13. I am building a pc for video editing and gaming. I want a new big monitor to go with my pc but I cant seem to decide between an Asus 27" IPS 60htz Monitor which is around 500$ and I would later on buy a second screen for work efficiency. Or the 34" Ultrawide Monitor from LG sold for 1000$. I think this monitor looks awsome 34" wide is about the same height as a 27" monitor but it is wider is the extra space on the screen worth it when I could get 2 27" for the same price? If you have other suggestions I also want to hear them. Linus videos for the 27": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsTZbfPCuTs Linus videos for the 34": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KnrxNfxRK_4
  14. I will buy some monitors with my new pc in one month. I was thinking about the set-ups I could use and have a hard time finding a good option for me. The pc I will buy will be GTX780 based with probably future upgrade to SLI. My screen buget is around 700-800$ I will use this pc primarily for video editing, special effects and photo work, but I also want to play on my computer and that is where 2 displays won't do the job due to the bezel in the centre. I though about 3 monitors in landscape, but I heard a lot of games just stretch the image on the sides and I think its too wide. The Ultra-wide screens are really appealing but: LG 34" 1440p 1000$ LG 34" 1080p 700$ (I am not sure how 1080p looks at this size) Other 29" 1080p around 500$ (I think they don't have enough height) Then I though about PLP I can edit and game on it, it is less wide then LLL, but I don't know what size monitors I should get or if there will be game stretching issues. I want to know if it would be a good option for me, how I should set it up, and how much it would cost?
  15. I am planning a build for the end of august. I am not sure between a i7-4790k and i7-4930k. This build is for video editing special effects 3d work and gaming. My builds: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/jedylan/saved/ytfmP6 and http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/jedylan/saved/X8ZzK8 My question. Is the ~500$ difference worth it.?
  16. Is it possible to put it in the front if you remove hhd cages
  17. Copied my link wrong sry:http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/jedylan/saved/ytfmP6
  18. I am plannaning a build for the end of august.http://ca.pcpartpick...an/saved/ytfmP6 here are my parts as of now. I will use this pc as a workstation for video editing, special effects, and gaming. I have looked on many websites and forums to know if the h100i can be placed in the Define R4. I thought about changing it to a h80i but it is thicker and linus made a video comparing both and the h100i is much better. If the h100i does not fit on top is it possible to place it in the front of the case?
  19. I am plannaning a build for the end of august.http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/jedylan/saved/ytfmP6 here are my parts as of now. I will use this pc as a workstation for video editing, special effects, and gaming. But someone pointed out to me the comming i7-5930k in late september. It would help with my work, but I have to wait one more month and I have to change mobo and ram (it will be ddr4 ram). I am afraid there wont be a lot of choices and that the prices will be much higher at the release of the chip for ram and mobo. I tried to find info about what will be available but couldn't find it. So what should I do? Will it be worth? What are the mobo and ram that will be available?
  20. Changed the mobo, cpu, psu, hhd, and video card.dropped the price by 200$
  21. I need a bluray drive cause I plan on listening to movies. I dont have a tv
