    Gonna skip it. Need a new extreme processor to come out instead. With an awesome memory controller.

    powercfg -lastwake is the ticket to finding the cause. "powercfg" is a very handy utility. Also any mobo bought before Win 8 release will most likely need it's bios updated. Almost all of the board partners have released compatible ones for the relevant chip sets and corresponding model boards. At all price points

    I use CPUID's HW Monitor Pro. Not sure of the functionality with FX processors though.
