Can anyone tell me what kind of fps I should expect at 1080p on High/Maxed settings on newer MMORPG's or high stress games like Battlefield 4?

high settings you'll get vary playable fps. make sure to overclock though ;)

have you considered buying used? i got a r9 290 of amazon for 250$ used and i've seen them as low as 195$

the r9 280xs are the same story, really good deals if you bye used and i've had better luck going used then new!(once got dud new pny ram)

The 270X is a very capable 1080p card. If you can do some deal hunting, look for the 285 or 280X as it will be a MAXED card at 1080p. Your memory however is a bit overkill. RAM faster than 1600MHz doesn't really help in gaming if you aren't using an APU. The graphics card will use it's own faster GDDR5 and system memory will only be used for processing tasks.

Awesome rig. I would personally go for the NZXT S340 instead the phantom 410, but whatever.

Also, I would recommend a Pentium G3258, but if u need those 4 cores it's OK (also 4 cores is more future-proof).

I helped pick out my friends new upgrades with an Athlon x4 860k and MSI 270x. Both play extremely well on a Max/High mixed settings on Assassin Creed Unity.

When I was there Unity wasnt even patched up on the stuttering while standing still and he only was playing on a 1366x768 TV, but hey, if my A8 and 265 can play at 1080p on AU with high settings then those two is gonna do better than mine.

Sounds Pretty good to me, but try bumping up to the r9 285 or 280x, just ensureing you have the best and smoothest experience at budget and for future games to come! But everything sounds Great. Good luck and have fun Gaming!
