Components for my PC

So I'm building my first gaming PC, and Linus' video he posted of his complete build gave me a good starting point for what I'm trying to do. This is also my first blog so bear with me. Here's the list of what I'm going to use to build my PC, and as a college student I'm on a bit of a budget.

Intel core i5 3570k CPU

Intel 300 series 180GB SSD

MSI GeForce GTX 770

Seagate Barracuda 3TB hard drive

Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR3 RAM

Corsair GS700 power supply

Corsair H700i CPU cooler

Corsair SP quiet fans

Cooler Master CM Storm Scout II case

Corsair M95 gaming mouse

Siberia V2 headset

Razer Deathstalker Ultimate keyboard

Asus VS248H-P 24 inch monitor

Right now, everything is going to cost me about $2635.99, and I am buying everything off of Amazon except for the keyboard. If anyone has some suggestions as to any of these components I can switch out for something that will work better or is maybe cheaper but will produce the same results, please let me know. I plan on playing games such as Skyrim, Dark Souls, Assassin's Creed 3 and 4, and Warframe with this build. I understand that some of these components may be a little out-dated, but when I have the money, I plan to upgrade some of them.

I am assuming you have a motherboard that fits an LGA 1155 CPU because you didn't list one.

But with all things consider its a good enough of a gaming rig, although one thing I would switch out is the hard drive, I personally would go with Western Digital but that's purely your choice on what you want to go with.

Sure enough I forgot to list MSI Z77A-G45 motherboard. And I'll definitely look into some Western Digital hard drives! Thanks for the input.

Also didn't see you already have board, but just go with the i7-3770k. I don't know why your prices were so high.

Thank you for the parts you have listed! I already updated some of the things I'm using to newer, and less expensive parts and this list will definitely help. I will post an updated list of what I will use after I go through everything again as I can already see that many of the items here are newer and cheaper than what I have right now. Some of what I listed previously I've already done away with. For example I was planning on buying the i5 4670K processor instead. I definitely have a great deal to look through now.

I've pretty much switched everything over to the list you posted above, save for a few things. I'm still going to go with the GTX 770 graphics card as this saves me a couple hundred dollars (and I can update it in the future) and I'm still going to use the Deathstalker keyboard as well. My total is now sitting at $2257.86 which I'm quite happy with. I've saved a good deal of money, and learned a good deal about building my own PC.

I decided to go ahead and switch over to the 780 Ti graphics card and my total now sits at about $2770 because I also had to add in the Windows 8.1 OS and a disc driver so I can actually download it to the hard drive. Thanks again for the advice and helping me to create a better machine.
