Hi...

I have been playing Team Fortress 2 now for 750 hours, and my computer has been running quite slow on it recently. Back when I changed my graphics card to a 750ti, i got 100 fps average, but now I get around 40-50. However when i switch to other games i usually run it on high settings at around 60 fps (depending which game). I wondered why this happens? Is there any way to get my fps back up? or should i change hardware...? Thanks for your time ^-^

Specs:
Dual Intel Xeon E5450 @ 3.00GHz
Nvidia GTX 750ti
32Gb DDR2 Ram
Dell 0RW203 motherboard
1Tb Seagate SATA Drive

Dust, Reboot, Use a different Outlet, Use a different Wifi (If Poss), Close all tabs except TF2, Check how much drive storage is left, change ram order, use different sata connectors for drive, check computer stats, turn brightness down or something.

Are you using Liquid cooling or air cooling? If you are using air cooling I would suggest what VintageSalad said

Try cleaning out your computer, might be dust build up

If it is liquid cooling there may not be enough thermal paste between the CPU and block or the GPU and the block causing them to run much hotter than they should be and causing them to fatigue.

Also try switching where you connect graphics cards (if poss) or POWER SUPPLY is not enough.

I tried swapping the slot that my gpu was in, but my computer freaked out and got extremely slow. The computer is quite old so i think there must be something in the socket. I had 720p resolution so i decided to change the slot back :3 I might try and see if i can find a can of compressed air anywhere, but there is not that much dust in my system, and the only visible dust is on the fans, and still isnt much. Anyway thanks for the feedback ^-^
