So this is something I'd planned on doing since I built the machine, when I built it I couldn't afford to spend the extra money on the cooler so I ran with the stock cooler for a month, today I bought the Hyper 212 EVO and the installation was well stressful. In recent weeks I'd noticed frame drops in GTA V on high settings with V-sync enabled (the way I've run it on this system since day 1) I'd never had frame drops last more than a second or so until a few weeks ago, I'd be at 30fps for 10 - 20 seconds at a time. I'd also had some other issues, so I decided to upgrade my cooler. Now that I've done so, the system runs perfectly. My only question is why real temp seems inaccurate. I took a pic of my temps to send to a friend and they were at 53 celcius in the pic, and right after the shutter snapped I looked at RealTemp again and it'd dropped 10 degrees.
