Internet is such a stupid place

Kinda getting off topic when it comes to the thread title but I really mean it.   It's fair to say that the stupid topic on twomad that was posted in general few hours ago made me think of this   SO basically, an annoying person who makes 13 year old boys laugh asked some weird shit and has done some non-nice stuff to other person. Social media from the perspective of a partial outsider

I do have a mostly inactive Instagram profile, and a reddit account but that's about it. Still every day I see lots of people spend hours on their screens browsing either instagram (mostly the reels function) as well as TikTok. Honestly I get how someone could spend hours on a screen (I am doing that right now) but like, those two are completely different. This forum is a peaceful text board while the TikTok feels much more hyperactive of sorts. Basically all posts have either that one annoying

I'm tired of ChatGPT stuff

Honestly wherever I go I see these stupid posts about ChatGPT. Bunch of people that didn't know about OpenAI's api that has existed for years now are suddenly amazed by a lobotomised chatbot. It's not hating on trendy things, I am just genuinely tired of it.
