Rating System
Pizzas can earn up to 40 + 10 ++ 25 points. 40 ++ 10 ++ 25 is a perfect score, 0 + 0 ++0 is no pizza, pizza had pineapple on it, etc. "+" and "++" points are bonuses. 0 is no pizza. Restaurants are scored separately (see below)
SAUCE
Quality of sauce : 0 to 12 marks available (+2 for zest or otherwise exceptional sauce, +2 and ++5 for homemade sauce)
Quantity of sauce : -2 to 3 marks available
CHEESE
Quality of cheese : -5 to 10 marks available (+5 for exceptional quality cheese, ++5 for 3 cheese or similar)
Quantity of cheese : -8 to 5 marks available. Pizzas that recieve a negative score in the quality category will be given an automatic 0. (+2 for extra on the first bite. ++5 for cheese with basil baked in)
CRUST
Quality of crust : -25 to 5 marks available (+2 for no burning, +1 for not floppy, ++5 for general excellence)
OTHERS & EXTRAS
Basil : +3 for presence
Presentation : 0 to 2 marks available (++2 for interesting presentation)
Slicing : No regular marks available, ++3 for slicing wheel OR ++5 for pre-sliced)
Other : Up to ++5 for other excellence
Rating system for restaurants
Restaurants can earn up to 30 + 5 points.
SERVICE
Quality of restaurant (building is clean, tables are sturdy, plates are not chipped) : -10 to 5 marks available (+1 for outdoor seating option)
Quality of staff : -10 to 5 marks available (+1 for excellent service)
Speed of service : 0 to 3 marks
PRICING
Fair pricing : -15 to 5 marks available (+2 for exceptional value)
AMBIENCE
Music : -20 to 5 marks available (+1 for total absence)
