Recommended Streaming CPU
Ocarinajoe98 replied to Ocarinajoe98's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Looks like that's what I'll be getting. Thanks everyone for the feedback -
I'm looking to start live streaming as a hobby but I don't think my current CPU can handle it. I can currently stream some lower fidelity games like csgo fine at 720p 30fps with a bitrate of 2500 kb/s. If I try to stream anything more intensive I get stuttering on stream and sometimes even in game. That said I'm looking to buy a new CPU and I'm not sure how much I'll need to spend to get something capable of streaming well. I'm looking for recommendations under $400 USD but under $300 would be optimal. If possible, tell me a good mobo to pair with the CPU socket type. (For any questions about my current build, just check my profile. Its all there )

That was one of the first things I checked for but I couldn't find any switch to disable the router, only a power button on the back.

I have a Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 router and I am unable to connect wirelessly to it. If I plug directly in with an Ethernet cord I can connect but the lights on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz are out indicating that it is not outputting a wireless signal. When I started poking around at the settings in Netgear Genie I saw that the "Enable Wireless Router Radio" check box was unchecked and grayed out. http://puu.sh/j1Cwv/62f0ac0de8.png I I've updated to the latest firmware but the problem still continues.

Whenever I call someone on Skype they can hear whatever I'm playing (music/YouTube) through my mic. I'm using a HyperX Cloud headset if that helps and my Skype name is ronnoc89950 if you want to see what I mean for yourself.

looks like garbage but it tracks like a champ and is pretty great (except for the stupid strobing light) I looked at some corsair keyboards but I'm not sure I can get used to the number pad being in the way. Probably going to borrow my brothers full size keyboard and see if I can get used to it because I've only used tkl for a while now. -

No color preference although i do like a back light. Mostly fps game like csgo. -

Probably amazon or new egg. Budget less than 140 for keyboard and less than 80 for the mouse. Used for mostly for gaming. I also really like tkl keyboards because its more comfortable to have my hands closer together. -
Both my keyboard and mouse are falling apart, in fact the mouse side buttons have stopped working recently. I currently have a Razer Blackwidow (TKL) and a Razer Deathadder. What do you guys recommend I get next? I'm currently looking at the Mionix NAOS 7000 and the CM Storm Quickfire Rapid-i

Yes it does have 4gb but the last .5 is so slow its basically useless. still 4gb but in practical use it preforms like 3.5gb
-
its more like 3.5GB at normal speed and .5GB that is at like 1/8 the speed
