I know. But the price in the build I made equals to the somewhat to the price he can afford. I just posted for the parts to pick for somewhere around the price he wants. -

Both have cores. But there are applications that can only use CUDA acceleration, if your application uses CUDA acceleration AMD cards can not benefit from that. If the application does not support CUDA Acceleration I think the amount of cores and speed is what matters.

Hi guys! I'm planing a build for a friend that does a lot of CAD work, specially with the AUTODESK suite, REVIT and AUTOCAD. I want to know how good is a GTX 960 compared to a Quadro k1200? He is NOT going to game with this PC. Thanks! Any other suggestions are appreciated as wel..

I'm going for the lowest budget possible. Yes he is going to OC. He already has a CoolerMaster v650 and a Corsair Graphite 230t.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/vqkwbv Hi guys! I would like to know if this pc config is enough to stream LOL (maxed out 1080p) to twitch? I'm not a LOL guy and never streamed before, is just for a friend. CASE AND PSU ARE NOT A PROBLEM, that's why I didn't include them, the 16gb ram is for editing the gameplays to post them on youtube afterwards. THANKS!

Today I received an email from Microsoft telling me that once the OS is available it would download automatically in the background and ask me to upgrade, so if you clone your HDD to your SDD once WIN 10 is out you would have it. If you want a fresh install on your SDD I'm pretty shure you would be able to download the ISO once it's released.

did you try opening the installer from inside the OS?

i would go with the EVGA SuperNOVA 750 for the PSU. Just a little bit more expensive for more wattage and nicer cables! http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-SuperNOVA-Modular-Warranty-110-B1-0750-VR/dp/B00K85X23O/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1437488709&sr=8-2&keywords=EVGA+SuperNOVA+750&pebp=1437488432650&perid=1QP01J84ZVS5P8PDYGKY The rest of the build is perfect!
