  1. I was not saying that a full enabled Tonga variant didn't exist. It does but those specifications listed on the site are not indicative of the new product. While not confirmed, every source agrees that Tonga has 32 CUs in the die which means that 28 CU "R9 285" is the Pro variant while the 32 CU die goes in the presumably upcoming "R9 285X". Specifications rumored for the full die are 2048 SPs, 128 TMUs, 32 ROPs, a 3 GB GDDR5 memory across a 384-bit bus and a larger L2 cache. XDMA and audio DSPs are also in place but like I mentioned, these are rumored specifications so don't quote them as someone said these from an official source.
  2. There's no Z99 or H99 series chipset. There's only Z97/H97/B85 for mainstream and X99 for HEDT platform. The next replacement mainstream chip is the 100-series (Z170).
  3. Its a listing of the Radeon R9 285, not a R9 285X (look closely at the box). it says 2 GB , 256-Bit on the packaging. The specifications listed on the site are bogus and a attempt to pre-list the card.
  4. For the love of god, read the actual article or if you don't want to visit the site, read what's quoted in the OP. We didn't get the processor nor did we de-lid it. It was done be Kevin (a friend and a renowned Asian overclocker) and the source is clearly mentioned in the article (OCDRIFT).
  5. Please show me one actual link or quote where "Intel Corp." confirms that the Core i7-5820K will retail at $450 US (MSRP).
  6. Well then this would be my last comment, already replied keoghjacob through private message. Sometimes the sources ask us to keep their identity anonymous, I personally want to reveal all the information I have even if im under NDA but sometimes it doesn't has to work that way. As for Videocardz, well they are actually good in what they do. Their leaks on Radeon R9 series and GeForce GTX Titan Black were accurate even when they were not taken seriously. WhyCry is a good friend and the speculation and leaks they cover are very interesting, sure most of them would not be legit (like us) but they are still an interesting read and give you an insight of the industry. If you want any more information, then i'd suggest we take this to PM.
  7. Im on mobile at the moment but the previos slides from Intel did confirm an early launch for both Haswell Refresh and Haswell-E processors. Regardless of that, we did update you guys with a follow up article on the new release date -http://wccftech.com/haswell-refresh-updated-roadmap-leaked-official-launch-11th-may/ Notice how it says Updated Roadmap, that's exactly what happened.
  8. Please post what information did we reported incorrectly on Haswell Refresh. Links would be better for me to check.
  9. Clicks? We have a decent following and they want the news hence we provide them feom various sources. The actual sources are always mentioned in the article. Click bait sites don't bother mentioning the prime sources. But im just a regular member here, will follow anything you guys think better and on a serious note, even I would like the original sources to be mentioned for any news.
  10. I think I've made it clear who I am in my profile and that comment wasn't targeted towards one specific member, it was targeted towards several who were bringing up their own theories on this. I've been on OCN before, its pointless arguing with them since they probably know more than pc journalists. Not saying the forum isn't a great resource for the pc community, guys like Alatar and few more post some really interesting stuff but its disappointing that the majority don't follow them as an example.
  11. Yes, next time OP should mention the source since they are more reliable even if WCCF posts the exact same thing they report.
  12. Yes, probably fake since WCCF posted this. Every other site that reported this is legit 100%.
  13. But I thought it was a paint job by WCCF when the actual image is sourced by Coolaler Forums?
  14. Its been mentioned clearly that the benchmarks are sourced from HardOCP.
