  1. What my concern is if there's an underlying problem since most of the time it is on my 'Minimum Processor State' which is 2199mhz, it shouldn't go lower than that since that's what I set it should during Idle.
  2. If it's on Balanced profile it'll only go up on what processor is currently being used. At the time I pushed the Screenshot button nothing much was being used that's why only 1 core went up and that's how much it'll only need. 2.2ghz is my Base Minimum Processor State when it's Idle or not being used much.
  3. So, uhm.. I'd like to ask you guys if this is normal or a bug with HWMonitor (Kindly refer to Attached file). What we're looking at is the 'Clock Speed' section. I'm on 'Balanced' Profile and I've set my 'Minimum Processor State to 50%'. My max Multiplier is x45 on the Bios for all Cores (Downclocked from x47 due to extreme hot temperatures in my area). I just noticed that the 'Minimum' value for the Processor Clock just became 461mhz even though it shouldn't in the First Place. I am kind of worried if there's either something wrong with my System or it's just a HWMonitor thing. Thanks
  4. Are Air coolers still viable in a very hot Room temperature? Like 32c to 40c Hot.
  5. I would just like to confirm if this item (http://www.ldcooling.com/shop/24-l) includes the cooling system and I would just need to put everything in that case and it will all work? I am interested in saving up money for this because of the HEAT problems that I have in our country. Thanks
  6. Hi Guys, Want some advice on what watercooling solution to get to lower my temps a bit. Room temperature is about 30c to 40c, 30c which is a bit rare and only during the ber months and late January and 40c and a bit more during summer in my place. My proc is a 4790k clock @4.4 and @4.6 depending on temps. My case is the Phantom 530, 1 200mm at Front IN - 1 140mm Side IN - 2 120mm Bottom IN - 1 140mm Rear OUT - 2 200mm Top OUT. I'm currently using a H105 on Push Configuration at TOP using Stock Fans. Right now, I'm getting an idle of 43c - 45c and a 50c to 55c during load. At Full Load, during encoding, it tops at 79c to 82c which before when it is during the ber or cold months it tops at 77c @4.6ghz. Voltage max @4.6 is 1.200v with an offset of 0.0.50 in case you were wondering. I'll be waiting for your advices. Thanks! And oh, I'm running the stock cpu fans at custom speed btw, 50% at 35c to 45c then 80% at 55c then 100% at 65c. The pump runs at 100%. The noise doesn't bother me.
  7. Thanks, I currently have 1 1TB WD Portable drive, probably a 2.5in size one forgot what it is for Backup but I'll probably get more soon just in case.
  8. Thanks for your opinion guys. Asking this since my first PC ever had a Hitachi 500gb drive which I used for storing stuffs and mkv videos before but failed after over 3 years. So I was wondering how long my HDD can last since I'm using it way more than my old drive. Cheers
  9. Hi Guys, Wanted to ask if anyone knows how long until the WD Blue HDD fails. I have the WD Blue 1TB that I use for recording AVI video files then re-encoding it to MP4 and some other stuff. Wanted to know if how much 'write' it can take before it completely fails. Bought it Last Year and It'll be 1 year old by next month. Thanks
  10. It'll be an explosive thing to have. 'Cos nuc-lear, lol
  11. I can go up to x48 on my multiplier just adding a bit more of the BCLKs magic to push it further. I put it on Adaptive since that's what I saw what Linus did on his Tutorial @YouTube. Good to hear that the VCORE reading on HWMonitor is just buggy, lol.
  12. Up, hopefully someone will answer the "VCORE" thing in HWMonitor.
  13. Don't know about Bus speed, looool. This is my first hand-built rig and OC at that since I've had 1 pre-built before and another 1 semi-built that I haven't OC'd. Though my BCLK OC is pretty safe?
  14. I wanted to be cool and try to overclock the BCLK. lol Jokes aside, I just really wanted to try and push a little bit more off on my current system. I'm going to crank this up on 4.8ghz again if this goes OK on my Handbrake encoding later.
  15. Hi Guys, I'm back and wanted to have some insights or rather I just want to ask a question regarding BCLK. I've read on another forum that overclocking it to 102 isn't that much different to its base clock 100. So I did and right now, I'm currently 4691ghz @1.2v+ on Adaptive. CPU-Z http://valid.canardpc.com/41dqxx So, I wanted to confirm if this is just fine or should I return it to base 100? GOOD LOWD, just checked my HWMonitor from CPUID and my Vcore is High as daaaaang. 1.8v or I could just be mistaken since the threads I've searched for Vcore on Google pointed out that it was too high.
