What do you guys think? With the release of valves Linux based operating system, do you think that it could replace windows as the main OS in everybody's gaming systems? (I know that not many games run on Linux at the moment but if you could play all your favorite games on Steam OS would you make the switch?)

Hi, for the past year I have dealt with my computer crashing at least once a week. Yesterday I got a new case for my pc so I did my thing. Today I start it up and it has frozen twice in the past hour. It starting to annoy me as I have lost a lot of work from this. The first time it froze I was looking on steam and the second time I was looking at chrome. It has done this ever since I first built the computer. Since then I have been changing out components to try and fix the problem. (Some of these were just because I wanted the upgrade.) I have replaced every component in my case except for - CPU and Motherboard. I don't think that its a software problem (still not sure) because of when I switched out my HDD to an SSD it still froze. Help would be appreciated. Thank you! I would also like to point out that when I tried to update my bios I couldn't. When I hold down the button for flashback, lights are supposed to blink but they don't. Computer Specs- CPU- i7 3820 Motherboard - ROG rampage IV formula RAM- 16gb kingston psu- Corsair ax760i OS- Win 7 64bit If you want any other details just ask.

The problem is that the board is damaged and I need to replace it. At the moment I can't afford a more expensive board again. :)

hi, soon I wish to buy a new graphics card but im not sure what to do. I already have a 660ti so I was going to put two cards together. I have heard that sli can be a bit glitchy so im not sure if I should get the new 770? any ideas?

Thanks for all your support so far but I think I may just live with the problems I have until the Asus ROG Maximus VI Formula comes out as I think it is my best bet. :)

Hello, I am upgrading (by upgrade I mean fix. Some Pci slots are defective) my system from my old sandy bridge to either ivy bridge or the new haswell. As I have an lga 2011 board I will have to get a new mobo either way. What do you guys think? Asus ROG Maximus V Formula with a 3570K or a Gigabyte G1 Sniper M5 with a new Haswell Cpu (If yes which one?) Is it worth going with the Ivy Bridge or Haswell set up?
