New build that i'm planning to do in few months

Hello everyone!

I just want to know what do you think of my next build and if you have suggestions. I will use this rig more for gaming than anything else.

Case = Antec twelve hundred

CPU = i5 3570K

CPU heatsink = Corsair hydro H80i

Ram = Corsair vengeance blue 16gb (4x4gb) DDR3-1600 CL9

MB = Asus P8Z77-V pro

PSU = Corsair professional HX650

GPU = Gigabyte 7870

SSD = Corsair force GT 180gb

HDD = WD caviar black 1tb

Comments and suggestions are welcome, thx!

You really do not need 16GB of RAM for gaming. 8GB is more than enough.

Yeah i know that but few times i may do some fraps videos in game. Do you think 8gb will still more than enough?

Yep, should be fine, fraps doesn't use a whole lot of RAM.

you should use the h100i if it fits, it makes a huge difference

Yeah drop the 8gb ram and maybe drop to semi modular xfx to get a 7950 in there depends on your upgrade cycle

I already have my video card in my actual build and i'm very satisfied with it. I already have the PSU too and it is semi modular.

yeah i have a 7870 as well so if you already have it then thats kl and I said semi modular so you didnt think I meant the non modular variant not saying the hx wasnt :) enjoy your rig

oh you can multi-quote so you don't have two replies one after the other, got told off for doing that on another forum lol
