R6 Siege question

Does anyone know what this "Normal" means? It shows in the top right of the screen in the main menu and I have no idea what it is.

More than likely that represents your settings with "normal" meaning that everything is set to "default".  Things could be worse though, what if it said, "ABNORMAL"?  Then you would really need to worry.

Looks like an overlay of some sort.

 

Is your GPU from Nvidia or AMD?

Nvidia. Its an RTX 3080ti if that matters

Had something like that happening a year or two ago.

To get rid of it disable the G-sync - Indicator Overlay in the Nvidia Control Panel.
