So I made a fresh build and the components consist of: AMD Ryzen 5 3600XT, RTX 3070 EVGA, 16gb ram corsair vengeance pro 3200 Mghz, x570 Aorus elite pro motherboard, 750 watt corsair psu gold rated, 1tb ssd Samsung EVO 860 4tb Seagate hdd. I think thats it and my old pc was a pre-built from BestBuy. It had a i5-9600F, 8gb ram(single stick), gtx 1660, 500 watt, 1224 tb(total storage). So I need to upgrade because I was having issues with my first pc(old pc)and I wanted to take gaming to the next level(pro skill level). So I upgraded and made a fresh build. But the issue here is that when I was done building my new pc. I didn't sign out out of nothing on my old pc. I just kept everything there in terms of data/files/app data. And my brother that helped me build my new PC told me to unplug the the hdmi cable coming from my old pc to my monitor. He didn't specify which cable to unplug at the time. So me being an idiot unplugged the Power supply cable while my old pc was on. He immediately yelled at me and told me to turn on my old pc to check if everything was working fine and everything looked fine. And it was so I was beginning to setup my new pc. I downloaded windows 10 to a USB stick and bought an activation key from a cheap website. After setting up my new PC; I immediately downloaded my games to start gaming again. When I downloaded my first game I wanted to check the graphics and the frame rate. But the second I went into a match in game. I noticed a difference in my mouse sensitivity. My mouse felt slower than usual. I didn't understand why my mouse was behaving this way. Keep in mind I had my mouse software installed as well and I configured it to my liking. I had the same dpi as my old pc and I was so confused. I looked up some fixes and similar issues as mine on Google. And it told me to reinstall mouse drivers, reinstall windows, I downloaded third party programs to optimize my hardware. I thought of every possible solution to fix my mouse. I even went into settings and turn off enhanced pointer option(It was on by default). I thought maybe it was monitor and monitor is working fine no issue, no lag, no nothing. I thought it was input lag but my mouse is at 4.17ms for input lag. It was the same before building my new pc. So it's not my monitor, it's not my mouse. I also tried using a different mouse and a different USB port but it was the same result. I also noticed that my mouse threshold values in registry edit were different. They were set to 6 and 10. Before they were 0 and 0. I dont know if that has anything to do with my problem. This problem has started when I built my new pc. My mouse sensitivity was fine before upgrading. I also noticed that my old pc has the same issue for some reason. And at this point I don't know whats going on. But I hope anyone that has my problem has a permanent fix for this. I'm in desperate need of help.

So i have a lenovo AIO and I installed windows 10 on it but after that I noticed that my speakers are not working I tried to reinstall drivers from device manager , I tried windows update, I tried to install manually from reatek website, I tried 3rd party driver installers, I tried troubleshooting,I tried lenovo offical driver scan, I tried sfc scan and dism scan it did found some corrupted file and fixed it but it just don't work,then I just reinstalled the windows itself but still it isn't working , could anyone please help me cause it's really giving me a headache now, btw I don't think it's an hardware issue cause it didn't took any physical damage. btw my aux port and mic isn't working too.

Anybody know why seemingly randomly system starts taking complete disk usage 50% as i have a different mass storage,and system uses a ssd(mSATA) as primary drive and an hardrive as mass storage and system randomly takes complete disk usage and tanks fps.

So some days ago i decided that i clear up my storage on my main internal hard drive of my laptop by deleting thumbnail catches, after that is me seeing files not showing the thumbnails properly (like most of the file saved except for some) So I'm curious if there's a way to recover those and not having me to check every file to see a photo I'm sharing is the right one or not.

Hello Pc I7 4790k H100i gtx cooler 16gb ddr3 2400 Gigabyte motherboard Gtx 970sc 600 power supply Ozc 100 250GB windows installed Crucial 500gb for steam Hello I have been having some problems with my pc for the last 4 months. It started with a drop in performance, then some apps stopped working correctly such as one Internet Explorer woking fine like chrome but then another not working at all both on fresh installs. After a bit of putting up with it, I got a blue screen ( Critical Service Died) I looked it up and did the fixes such as sfc, but it happened again and then continued. I decided it was time to reinstall windows. First it would not let me, then it didn't install right. After the forth try it worked but I turned my pc off to go to bed and in the morning I turned it back on to start working and got another blue screen (windows files missing) so I reinstalled windows but for some reason it installed half of windows on one drive and half on another, so when I gave my second drive to a friend to use my steam library my pc would not work saying that no windows was installed. I finally got windows installed but even now I get a blue screen (critical service died) after reading some more online people said that my ssd could be the problwm. My windows is installed on my OCZ 100 240gb drive so I downloaded there utility, it said my drive was fine, but then my screen froze but i could move my mouse so I opened task manager, everything was fine apart from my disk saying 50% usage but I could not find what was using it according to task manager nothing was, the task manager froze and blue screen, I think it may have been my drive that was the problem but it's not even a year old. I have taken it out and am trying to install windows no my other drive to see if the issues is still there. My question for help is do you think that my drive was the problem and is broken or could there be anything else that may be coursing some of these issues.

My nephew pulled a cable and the tower fell over....the computer froze and my first thought was that the hard disk borked. On restarting, the computer posts but just stays blank after the Asus splash screen.( I don't think it is going into a restarting loop bcoz the screen just stays blank the boot sequence does not happen again also the drive led does not blink) Tried reinstalling windows...it installed, I booted in (YAY!!) changed the resolution to something bearable started downloading the drivers and it just died down again...on restarting it was same as before. So I tried reinstalling windows again...same thing just this time I did nothing and still the computer died after 5 mins...after installing windows for the third time I quickly ran chkdsk C : in the command prompt only for it to tell me their is nothing wrong with the drive. Now my question is do I have a broken drive or a shitty windows install. Thanks for the help in advance. Hi, so about a week ago I built my first pc, and it works great! Except for the fact that whenever I turn it on it goes into bios instead of windows, so that just adds hassle and 2 minutes to booting my computer, and i was wondering if anyone could help me.
