Hello! I'm in need of a free audio virtual cable. Any suggestions? I already have the VB-Audio Virtual audio cable Thank you!

So I'm using Equalizer APO for control, Peace EQ for simple EQ changes, HeSuvi for 7.1 sound, and a Virtual audio cable. To link HeSuvi and my VAC, I'm using Audio Repeater KS. Every minute or two, I'll hear a crackling sound. I've set Peace to prevent audio clipping, but that doesn't seem to work. Obviously, these are a lot of programs all altering the same audio, but there shouldn't be much room for error. We can rule out Equalizer APO and Peace since I've used those with no errors at all. I read on a forum that with my configuration (Which is recommended by the HeSuvi dev as a work around for his software) will cause some crackling, and that the commentor didn't know why. I'm wondering if anyone else does, since it didn't seem like he looked for an answer. The main area I think might be changeable is the Audio repeater, since it changes audio buffering, output, input, and more. Thanks for any help you can offer. There is little to no info on HeSuvi around the net, so any input is helpful.

i figured it out how i can connect he streamdeck with discord using a vb-audio cable! My settings: -Cable output listen and playback enabled to my speaker -in the win 10 appvolume and device settings the streamdecks output to: Cable input My problem is now that my firends can hear me and my streamdecks soundboard but I CANT hear my soundboard! i want to knwo how i can send the sounds to me and my friends! What can i do! is there a programm or....? i want the the streamdeck outputs to my output-cable and my headphones!

EDIT: When I was testing this, I was primarily testing with music and forgot to try out gaming and video play back. There is actually a slight delay between audio and video. I have done some messing with settings to get it as low as I can (less than a tenth of second). I will likely continue messing with settings and possibly other solutions to optimize a bit more. This wont affect anyone using this to create virtual cables for recording or just basic music listening. This would only be an issue with gaming and video play back. It is not too bad though, would really only be an issue if doing very serious competitive gaming or something along those lines. I optimized fairly well, but it certainly is not perfect and I will try to find other solutions or settings that reduce the latency when I have more time. I would recommend going with the standard settings if you are just using this for audio play back or creating more channels for recording because it will not affect the recording, only monitoring of the recording. Fair warning that the low latency settings adjustments can be a bit tedious and frustrating. Basic knowledge of computer organization and scheduling may help in understanding what settings you are changing. For my purposes, I used this solution to split all system sound on my PC to output to both my on board sound card and a PCI sound card. This program could, in theory, be applicable to a lot different situations including recording multiple sources, outputing from HDMI on video card and other devices simultaneously, outputting to speakers in different rooms, or probably a bunch of other situations. Anyway, I hope this helps someone else do what they need to do! The solution I found was to do some basic tinkering with the very light weight program Virtual Audio Cable. Unfortunately, it is a paid program, but you can download the trial to test things out first and see if it can work for your situation. All the trial does (to my knowledge) is limit your number of virtual cables to 3 and after a minute or so it outputs a voice saying "Trial" a few times a minute. So, you can easily test things out and decide if it works for you before committing any money. Anyway, I set it to have just one virtual audio cable in the program's control panel (which you do have to run as administrator or else the program crashes whenever you attempt to change anything). Under cable parameters, check the box for volume control to have master volume control in Window's built in volume mixer. Click set to save the setting. I did mess with some other cable parameters a bit, but for people just looking for basic setup can leave all the defaults. What needs to be done is likely self explanatory for anyone who thinks they need to mess with that stuff. Low Latency Edit Under driver parameters set worker threads to be equal to the maximum number of logical cores on your CPU (in my case 12 for a 5930k) and change the prio to 31. This give the program the highest priority on Window's scheduler. This is technically a bit risky, but it should be fine. Also under cable parameters set Ms per int to 1. I also changed the Clock correction ratio to 99.9995 (five clicks down). This will affect the queues in the MME interface that is used later. This is one of the settings that may be tedious to mess with. Remember to click set to save the settings. Once you do that, set the cable as the default audio device. This is what directs ALL PC audio out to the virtual cable. Next step is to open up the programs Audio Repeater (MME) interface. Select the virtual cable for Wave in (input) and one of the outputs you are trying to get audio to for Wave out. You can also adjust some other settings for the output here if so desired. Once you click start, the program will begin "forwarding" all system sound to the output you selected. Again, I changed the sample settings, defaults are fine for most people. These settings can be adjusted based on the specs of your sound card or DAC. If you set the settings too high, you will not have any sound output. Recommend default unless you know what you are looking to change. Low Latency Edit Notice the Queues that I discussed eariler. Set Total buffer (ms) as low as it can go without any overflows (probably 100 maybe a bit lower, but that is likely the lowest preset). And set the number of buffers to be the total buffer divided by 3. In my case 90 ms and 30 buffers. These settings will likely depend on your hardware's power and configuration. These settings do have minimal overflow for me, but the lack of noise in the line with my discrete card is worth taking one overflow every couple of seconds (average). This just means that the connection will "drop a frame" but it is only 3 ms, so .0003 seconds and is not at all noticeable. I personally feel that this is fine for gaming. If I am doing anything like just music listening I can adjust the settings to enhance the buffer, but increase latency. That's fine if I'm not gaming. With this solution there is still some latency, but it is less than a tenth of a second so it is one of those things were you aren't likely to notice it unless you are specifically looking for it. Repeat this last process until you have all the outputs you desire. In my case, just two for now. After that, you are good to go! You can just minimize (don't close!) the windows and they will move over to the task tray where you can re open them, stop, restart, and edit as you wish. Unfortunately, it seems that the final step of the process does have to be repeated each time the program stops (aka after a reboot). So, it is probably a good idea to create a shortcut to the Audio Repeater (MME) interface and save screen shots of the configuration if you aren't the kind of person to remember every little detail about your setup! And you will have to reinstall and redo the whole process if you did test with the trial first and are going to migrate to the full version. I am certainly not an expert with using this program, but I will definitely try to help out anyone that has any issues or is attempting to do more complex setups that what I have outlined here. I imagine this program would be helpful for anyone trying to do things with monitoring different outputs while recording or what not. Virtual audio cable is a really good program, but it is a pain in the butt to use and i was wondering if there were any good programs that do mostly the same thing. i´m using DXtory and i just want teamspeak and the game sounds in different audio files. any help?

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how I could get a web browser to output sound to the non-default output. I want to do this cause I want to be able to send the audio from one browser through teamspeak, and have the other browser's audio be outputting from my laptop's speakers. I am on Windows 8.1. When I googled it I noticed a lot of people suggesting a Virtual Audio Cable solution, but from they way I saw it described, that would make it output from both the speakers, and the virtual line out. (I am using VAC as the TS input).
