Similar to: SilverStone ARM14 Single Monitor Arm (Or any other brand equivalent), but I'm not sure if this one supports the curvature). Budget: $80.00 USD Can anyone recommend anything? Thanks! Jeff

Hi there! This is my first forum post. Long story short - roof broke and office flodded so now everyone gets new workstations. The boss has agreed to the Samsung LC49RG90SSEXXY. Now, I plan to hook this up with an intel nuc with the i5 -1135G7 with iris integrated graphics. This is purely for administrative work spreadsheets and accounting and such like. (NO GAMING) will i get 100 - 120 hz with 10bit colour via this method. The max output of the nuc is 8k @ 60 hz. Additonally I'm planning on hooking another one up to a more workstation like computer with a ryzen 3600xt and 1650super (16gb ram) for some video editing, photo work, and maybe a little blender work. and then general admin stuff (NO GAMING). Obviously I'd like to go with something like a 2060 super but in australia you'll pay $1000 for that card. The 1650S is already $480. Is this a solid enough choice of should I try and aim higher? Suggestions and input would be greatly appreciated. I would like to move forward with outfitting the office as soon as possible

Budget (including currency): No budget Country: Norway Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: MSFS, other simulator games, COD MW2 and other first person shooters Other details: Upgrading from: XFX RX 6800 XT, Ryzen 7 5800X, Corsair Dominator 32GB @ 3600MHz. What i want from the system: I would like to get a system that could run MSFS in VR at the best possible framerate. My current system dips down to 13-20 fps when in high density areas. I have been considering the Ryzen 9 7900X3D and either the RX 7900 XTX or RTX 4090. I'm also planning to get the new samsung G9 (7680x2160 @240Hz), for when im flying airliners in MSFS, so i need something that can utilize this the best. Anytime i ask on forums, all the MSFS, VR, AMD and Nvidia fanboys starts arguing, so i'm asking here because i think this forum would be the most unpartial. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I've been using two monitors for a while now, main is 1440p and secondary is 1080. I just finished parting out my new build and started thinking about getting a new 1440p OLED display. So far I've only seen one 2560 x 1440 display by LG; the 27GR95QE-B which based on the one review I saw by The Display Guy, I feel like I should avoid it. Than I remembered about ultra-wides and now I'm wondering if I can get the same kind of dual screen functionality out of an ultra-wide. PS: I'm gonna be running a 4080 on water, so not having enough power isn't really gonna be an issue

I recently bought the 49" Odyssey G9 Neo and wanted to mount my previous 27-inch monitor above it. I also have an adjustable desk. What type of monitor arm would you suggest buying. Thank you.

Hi guys! Can you help me decide on a curved ultrawide monitor? I want it to be 1440p and its main purpose is for doing work (Law and Politics student) my main desire is for the picture to look nice. I don't really need 144hz or 1ms delay as I don't really play games anymore but I wont complain if I can still get it. My budget is around £600

Hello everyone, I currently have a dual monitor set up with one 27 inch 2650 x 1440p monitor and a 24 inch 1920 x 1080p monitor both @60Hz. I'd like to make my desk cleaner and therefor want to buy an ultra wide monitor but I have a hard time deciding what I want: or an ultra wide with 1080p resolution but high refresh rate or an ultra wide with 1440p resolution but 60Hz refresh rate. I am not a hardcore gamer and play a lot of different games but not a lot of shooter games. I sit around 2.2 feet (70cm) away from my monitors and have an intel I5 6600k and EVGA 1070 FTW. Thank you for helping me out here

I am looking into pc upgrade and i am not sure what to go for. My cpu is a Athlon x4 860k and my gpu is the MSI ARMOR rx 480 4gb. I am trying to decide between water cooling them and getting an ultrawide monitor I currently have a crappy old lg flatron that half the time doesn't turn on and a vizio tv as my main monitor. i don't have a budget yet but I can guess it will be pretty low around 100-150 usd. My case only fits a dual 120mm rad and I don't have to water cool the gpu if it is not an option.

Hi Linus, I am new member on this forum and can't find a suggestion on your channel youtube. I just bought a new ultra wide monitor 34 inch with screen resolution 3440x1440. I really like your channel and watching with full screen but I hate black bars. Could you upgrade your newest videos before upload to youbute. Youtube does work 21:9 ratios. Thank you very much. Have good day.

Hi guys and gals, I'm currently gaming on a 4K LG TV but when I move house that will be going into the bedroom. I'm thinking of replacing it with an ultra wide monitor Ideally it would have the following qualities (in order of importance): ultrawide 1440 30+ inches curved gsync I can can live without g-sync tbh To be used for gaming mainly, and some light office work I'd live to hear people's suggestions. I haven't set a budget in mind - I'm not super rich but I'm not poor either so I'm open to most things, probably up to about £600 ish

Hello guys, I've been looking for while to upgrade my LG-29UM58. I was thinking about a 34'' screen with a 3440x1440 resolution. I have a GTX 1080 which I believe should handle that resolution above 60FPS pretty well with most games. Budget is around €800 but I maybe willing to spend some more for a screen with G-Sync. So I one question: Should I get one with G-Sync or one without? I don't really play FPS games and I'm pretty content with gaming on a stable 60FPS. I've been looking at an AOC Agon AG352UCG and a LG 34UC88-B but if you have other suggestions please let me know.

Hey guys, Could you please recommend a good monitor that fits my needs: - productivity first, lots of screen space - easy on the eyes - movies - light gaming (wow, dota2, total war, civ5) - large bastard (34"-40") - futureproof? In all the monitor reviews I've seen so far there's always something missing/wrong... Money is not much of an issue, I'll stretch as far as 1.5k$ if it means I'll get to work in comfort for the next 5 years. Is there anything on the market that you think would fit my needs or should I just wait for something to turn up. Cheers!

I just got a Acer XR342CK 34" Ultra-Wide UHD IPS Free-Sync (AMD Adaptive Sync) Gaming Monitor,3440 x 1440. For now I'm testing it out and seeing if i like it or not. The problem is watching newer movies. Let me explain, each time i watch a older TV show i downloaded (a 2006 year season show) it works perfectly fine. But when ever i watch newer video like the new Power Rangers 2017 movie on either Movies & TV app or on VLC player, it would just sort of do a shutdown/restart about 20 minutes into the video. Playing games is not a problem, it works perfectly fine with games. Its just when im trying to watch something already on my harddrive. Is the problem with the monitor or something with my build? my previous monitor worked perfectly fine and it was AOC - G2460PF 24.0" 1920x1080. Using a FX-8350 cpu sabertooth 990fx r2.0 motherboard Radeon R9 390 8GB Video Card HyperX Fury Black 32gb DDR3-1866 RAM

Hey everyone! I'm about to buy a lg 34uc88. I choose it over the 34uc98 since the only diverance seems to be the thunderbolt. I wanna buy it now cause of tax reasons, and I will be using it mainly for work (3D animation) and the occasional gaming. now my question is: should I wait? I can buy it now for € 769,- (I live in the netherlands) But i've read that lg Will launch the 34uc99 soon. I wouldn't buy the 99 since it would be far out of my price range, but I'm wondering if it will make the price of the 88 drop? And If so How much? I read the price will drop like a brick in US but what about the Netherlands? I don't see a whole lot of reason the price will "drop like a brick." Thanks for the read and all the help! Profesional kisses Jim

Hello every one, I got a question on what monitor(s) to buy. The reason why i cant choose is that there are advantages and disadvantages on all the options (while not going over budget). What is going to be on the monitors is: i game alot, watch movies, watch youtube, program a lot and am using some servers that monitor allot. I came up myself with some options. but feel free to leave your own thoughts on monitors, or what one you prefer of my choices. Keep in mind, im not thinking to spend more then around 700 euro. the options: 2 144hz with 1 response time monitors. On a dual monitor arm to keep them close and look nicer. 1 ultra wide curved 1080p with 144hz and 4 ms response time. 1 ultra wide curved 1440p with 60hz and 4/5ms response time. what would be your choice, and why? Or do you have some other recommendations? edit: I currently have a: i5 4690k asrock z97 killer 8 gb of ddr ram (1800mhz) msi R9 390 (thinking on upgrading to 1070) not that storage matters but: a 256 ssd and a 2tb hdd

Today I have 3x22" 60 hz, 1440p, 16/10, > 5 ms monitors. This is fine for my current runing when I play Project cars or simular. My problem is that when playing FPS like battelfield 5 I would like to upgrade to a min 1440 144hz 1ms display. I like playing with 3 screens in BF5 to. I have an Aorus 1080TI WB Easy solution was to get 3 identical displays, but then the cost add up to much. Get one. And accept to play on one screen when playing BF5. And exchange the screens to play PCars Get an ultra wide screen? Get an ultra wide and use the 2 of the existing to have as "side windows" Is it posible to get some screens to fit with the existing in the higth ... Any surgestions or test I need to se? Buget is: I can pay for quality but 80% quality is good for me, if the last quality comes for a premium price.

Hello, I want to buy a new monitor (my current one is crap ? 1920x1080, 60Hz, TN). I have RTX 2080 and I am 50% time programming on the PC and 50% gaming (mostly FPS - Battlefield, PUBG, etc.) so my requirements are G-Sync, at least 144Hz and better than 1920x1080. I am not sure about the Wide Screen - I am using it at work and it is great but I am not sure how it is with gaming, isn't gaming better on 16:9 ratio? Anyway, my picks are these monitors: Dell Alienware AW3418HW Acer Predator Z321QU Acer Z301C Acer Predator XB271HU Can anyone help me decide which would be better for me and why? Any personal experience with these monitors? Bad ones or good ones? Or would you recommend a different monitor for me? Thanks, everyone for your time ?

Hi Everyone, I've recently been looking at Ultrawide monitors as an upgrade of my 2x1080p 24" 60Hz monitors with 2xHDMI cable. I like to play games and when I see the flight/racing simulators but also the extra view area for games like CS go I am convinced this makes sense. Also having 1 large monitor looks a lot nicer, has less cables etc. I also like to have a live stream on or discord while gaming sometimes so having the option to game on the right and browse on the left is also a scenario I'd want my monitor to cover. However, since a decent ultrawide is not cheap I did some more researching and stumbled upon what I would say is interesting. What I figured was like, hey, 144Hz monitor, a flicker and blur free image for whatever content I am using. Not sure if there is a difference in eye strain between 144Hz and 60 Hz, but back in the CRT days, 100Hz was all the rage because supposedly 100Hz was much smoother to the eyes than 50 (I am in EU). Now perhaps LCD works differently in that it does not refresh the whole screen or something? Enlighten me if you know more At any rate, I'd say it would be nice to mention that you might not get 144 in all situations you might expect them (framerate of games aside). My investigation lead me to this monitor that felt like it was most suited to what I was looking for: Lenovo ThinkVision P44w-10, but I expect when it comes to refresh rates, different monitors have a similar layout (or not?) First surprise was that 144Hz was only supported via Displayport 1.4 according to the table in the manual. HDMI goes up to 100Hz, with HDR OFF, if you put it on it goes back to 60Hz max. I'd have to buy at least 1 new cable. My second surprize was that 144Hz was only available if you put the monitor in 3840x1200 mode, but what if you want to use 2 inputs side by side. I woudn't know if it is even possible to tell windows 10 to have a game at 1920x1200 on the right side of your monitor and use the left side for e.g. chrome? The way I figured things worked was that you have 2 outputs of your video card (Mine is a MSI GeForce RTX 2070 armor 8G) run to your monitor as a dual screen setup. Perhaps you all know more about this then me and can explain how that works. So now I was thinking, how does my video card handle 144Hz when it has 2 seperate displays, and sure enough when I google for it, I found people having issues at the Nvidia side (Did not check AMD), but, as far as I can tell they might have been resolved? (Anyone here with 2 144Hz (or higher) monitors that can try some stuff out and report back?) So let me know what you think and if I misunderstood anything here!

So I need a good looking, high resolution 27" monitor. I can also get an ultra wide monitor. My one of my biggest concern is getting a free sync monitor, as I have a GeForce GPU. I also really want a clear high resolution monitor. I was looking at this one : https://www.newegg.com/lg-27bl65u-w-27-uhd/p/0JC-000D-006W5 . Also this one : https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-29wn600-w-ultrawide-monitor# . Both of them LG. I want to be able to game on them, but i'm not a serious gamer. Thanks for the help!
