Hi! I was given a GTX 760 twin frozr card the other day as my nephew bought a GTX 1060. It seems to work fine going to test some overclocking once i get this thing out of the way. Online it says this card has a boost clock of 1150mhz when in OC mode. In unigine valley i would get 1241mhz and 3004 memory My old card is a GTX 750 TI that i have had issues with. It says online to have a boost clock of 1137mhz so lower then the GTX 760 but in Unigine valley it gets 1333mhz and 2700 memory Maybe the unigine valley numbers are off by a bit but still the GTX 760 should have a higher number and not lower then the GTX 750ti I found out there is an app and downloaded it and put it on OC mode and got 1311 in Valley. and in MSI afterburner it changes to a +70 in OC mode. In gaming mode it's +0 and a clock of 1241mhz From all i have read the GTX 760 is a better card then the 750 TI but not by much but with my testing the GTX 750ti wins in clock speed and the GTX 760 wins in memory clock. Is there something wrong or is valley just bad for showing mhz? didn't check afterburner or HWmonitor for the GTX 750 Ti so have no data from those programs. Thanks

This pc that im looking at has a dual fan msi graphics card that says twin frozr on one of the fans and gets its power from the slot its in instead of a power cable. it looks like this https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIAE8D78B1626&ignorebbr=1&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleMKP-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleMKP-PC-_-pla-_-Video+Cards+-+AMD%2FATI-_-9SIAE8D78B1626&gclid=CjwKCAjwh9_bBRA_EiwApObaOF1E1trIJYyeqYA1N6WNOA7bwAFbB9LhhKGE6_BBory-EuB4yQx5-BoCJqgQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds can anyone help me? I think there are many graphics cards that look like this but im just shouting into the darkness.

Hello all , Thanks for having a look at this issue , Ok, so I have 2 MSI GTX 660ti OC PE cards in SLI , Both cards have been treated exceptionally well , dusted regularly and only very minimally overclocked. The problem I am having is that on one of my cards , both fans will start at boot up , completely normally for about 3 seconds , no grinding/whining sounds , nothing , but then all of a sudden the one fan will power down , and will twitch every now and then as if it were trying to power itself on , I have even had it where both fans will turn off . I got MSI Afterburner to mess with the fan speeds and see if I could get it to spin , and as unless I set it to 80 percent or higher it will not spin up at all , It seems like some kind of power saving feature , Like its idle fan speed has somehow been set to 0 , because at the higher temps as long as my fan curve is set right , it will turn on and cool the card normally, the fans are pretty loud at 80% though especially since it goes from 0 - 80 the noise difference is really bad . but as I said before the fans are in great condition , and spin very freely when spun manually . I have tried flashing its bios using a backup of the bios on my other card , I have tried using it with different power and PCI slots , I am a DIY kind of guy , and warranty is long gone , so I am open to the idea of opening the card up completely , but I have no idea what I would be looking for . any ideas on what might be causing this ? Any one else having this issue ? I really appreciate anyone who takes the time to read the essay above Thank you Dylan

Hey guys, My 290x (MSI Twin Frozr) gaming temperatures are 85C when fans are on auto.(average fan speed about 60-80%) .Clock rates are 1030/1250Mhz, ambient temperature is about 30C. My casing is corsair 760T with stock fans. Increasing fan speed to 100C makes temperature to be 80C Are these temperature too high, I have heard twin frozr cars run much cooler????

Hi guys, I wanted to finish my build with a nice graphics card to top off everything. I am looking to play games like BattleField 4, Tittan Fall, Borderlands 2, Leauge of Legends and Minecraft all on max or high settings with a smooth enjoyable experience. In mind, I also want a quiet card that does not suck up too much energy. My budget is $100 to $170. These are the cards I am currently looking at. Please let me know what you guys think or if there are any better options. Thank you in advance.

Alright, I've posted this a while back, but that's not a big deal anyways, so when ever I overclock my card, I can't get my card's fans to stop working on idle, they still work and they run at 25% this is annoying because I'm not gaming, and my room gets pretty hot because of this. here are my settings GPU-Z (note the gpu clocks, its at idle and look at the temps and the fan speed) MSI Afterburner

I recently bought MSI Twin frozr R9 290x for triple monitor gaming. But I have second thoughts about Twin Frozr GTX 970(although people in the shop told me that 290x is better for high resolution gaming than gtx 970), which is $ 20 more in my country. Should I return 290x and get a gtx 970? (Also is there any difference in 4k codecs of 970 and 290x?)

I have a MSI N560GTX Ti: http://www.msi.com/product/vga/N560GTXTi_Twin_Frozr_IIOC.html There is a fan that is getting a little rattly when spinning at lower RPMs. I am considering replacing them completely but I would prefer to avoid having to remove the whole cooler just to swap out the fans. From examining the cooler, there seems to be some screw points that mount the shroud on to the heatsink but they are in weird and awkward spots. Anyone with experience with working with this cooler have some advice to provide as to the possibility of removing only the shroud? Will there be certain tools that will make the job easier? Thank you

I plan on selling my GTX 760s ( MSI GTX 760 OC Gaming Edition) soon, I was wondering what kind of prices people are throwing them out for them these days. Both GPU1 and 2 are stable at 1290mhz with a memory clock of 6950mhz I was thinking $175 or $300 for both, but I haven't been in the used GPU market for so long I wouldn't know what a good price is for these.

Hey guys, I am a little concerned about my system. I recently acquired a MSI Twin Frozr 290x, and I have been messing with the oc setting in afterburner. But, when i try running Kombuster on stock clocks, basically everything on factory settings, kombuster runs for about 2 minutes benchmarking my card, and the card just goes off the top on the temp. I mean like from 50c to all the way to 80c in like no time, and if i let it continue, it actually reaches the limit and just shuts off. I did check that the fans are running, they go up to full speed ( i keep track on afterburner) and on the ASUS rog suite, I have all fans at full speed (including cpu, and all case fans). Do i need to upgrade the fans in my case? or should I check out the thermal paste/thermal pads on the gpu itself? or do i need just more cooling overall (water/liquid, more case fans, wtf?) please let me know if anyone has had the same problem or how to resolve it. or is it normal running Kombuster

Hey everyone, I am in the market for a gpu upgrade but am having trouble deciding among a few choices. I need a tie breaker so I can pull the trigger on something. The first card I was looking at is the MSI R9 270 Twin Frozr, but the only one I can afford is on amazon and I'm not certain if I should trust the buyer. Does anyone have experience buying a card from a 3rd party amazon source? Link to card: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GMGGZQE/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=&seller= My other option was an ASUS GTX 660 DCUII on newegg, but I didn't realize it was on sale and the price just went back up (out of my budget). However if you think that this one + a free copy of Watchdogs is still worth $189, I will go with that. The deciding factor between the two cards is mostly budget ($175 currently). All opinions welcome.

So I'm upgrading my Comp (on a budget of £140ish) and need to replace the CPU as my current CPU the AMD Athlon II X2 250 3.0GHz will bottoleneck a MSI GTX 760 Twin Frozr and also want to replace the motherboard for sli config in the future. The parts I am thinking of getting are: CPU: AMD FX6300 Black Edition 6 Core 3.5/4.1GHz Motherboard: Msi 970a-g46 Will this be a good combination that will allow a MSI GTX 760 Twin Frozr and future sli to perform well without any 'bottlenecking'. If you know of a better more powerful combination of CPU/Motherboard, Please tell me as I want to have the best setup with the money I have available to me. -Thanks!!

Hey all I have a MSI Twin Frozr 7950 boost edition, i bought it in April and last month i had to send it back for RMA, since its return it has had an issue where the card reaches 60-62 degrees and the fan suddenly ramps up even when the fan speed it set to a constant . I set the fan speed to 20% and it runs at 20% and silent until 60-62 degrees then it jumps up to what i assume to be 100% and incredibly loud, on msi afterburner, asus gpu tweak and CCC it shows the fan percentage to still be 20 but the noise tells a different story. I have since sent it back three times and every time they have said there is no problem with the card and that it runs fine for them and that it is the V2 model with the new fan curve. They suggested to test my psu as that might be causing the issue. I have just bought a new psu and it has the same issue. I have also tried different pci-e slots, dose anyone have any idea's? Thanks

Hey everyone, So, I've recently built my new PC, and the aim was to crossfire my old 7950 with a new 280x, the 280x essentially being a rebrand of the 7970 and therefore Crossfires just fine with the 7950. The two cards Crossfire well as expected, however since the build is MicroATX I'm finding that the cards are sitting right next to eachother and that the top card was hitting up to 95c in benchmarks before I shut it off. In theory, the case cooling I have set up is pretty good, I have 2 AF120s intaking on the front, two SP120 exhausts on a H100i radiator on the top and a rear AF120 intake which I've seen suggested a few times as the best setup for the 350D with a radiator. The CPU temps are fantastic, even if I did get a rather poor overclocker unfortunately. Here's a picture (it's a little large to put on the actual post, so here's an Imgur link, I hope that's OK): http://i.imgur.com/gsSL4rH.jpg What I've tried: - Reversing rear intake to exhaust, only increases CPU temps slightly and no effect on GPU temps - Massively underclocking the top card, which does cut off a few degrees but not enough to make a difference (more 90C than 95C but with a big performance drop) The specs of the system are: GPU1: MSI Twin Frozr 4 280X GPU2: MSI Twin Frozr 3 7950 CPU: Intel i7 4770k @ 4.2Ghz Mobo: Asus Maximus Gene VII RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance Pro @ 2133Mhz HDD: 2TB Seagate Barracuda SSD: 120GB Samsung 840 Evo CPU Cooler: H100I PSU: Corsair AX860 OS: Win 8 64Bit Pro I'm not sure if there's anything I can do, other than replacing the cooling on the cards with a custom water-based solution but that is a little too pricey. Right now I'm running with just the 280X and I'd love to be able to run with both if possible. Thanks for reading, if I can provide any more information let me know. Thanks!

I was just wondering if a 650 watt psu would supply enough power for two gpus (MSI N760 TF 2GD5/OC). I was thinking of upgrading and was just wondering if that was enough. Parts list: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/CoAwesome/saved/R3KhP6
