I have never used a Desktop with the option for Sleep Mode since the last time I hade Desktop at home was when I was real young and it was Windows XP was around.

Hello! So recently I just built my very first PC; a dream come true. I decided to go with the 12600KF (i5) cuz I had a budget but wanted something high end. Now, besides my terrible cable management, the PC was working 100% without any issues. I could finally game modern titles and I actually liked the new Windows 11. (Sleep mode was working just fine) Then I noticed my RAM had a frequency of just 2600 or 2800 MHz (dont really remember). So I went to the BIOS, activated XMP and overclocked my RAM to the advertised 3200 MHz. It seemed to be stable and working even better than before, but then I set my PC to sleep. When I came back I noticed that for some reason my RAM's RGB LEDs didnt turn off... strange. So I press the power button to come back from sleep (as usual) and the PC's fans come on (RGB and all...) but the mouse, keyboard and monitor aren't. Then I look at my PC and the motherboard's "EZ Debug LED" is stuck on red under CPU. I hard press the power button and it shuts down, but turns back on on its own, this time it comes on just fine. So, this is my issue now, if I let my PC go into sleep mode it will get stuck there and will only come back after a reset. I tried all the fixes for PC wont wake up from sleep mode troubleshoots. Turned off "fast startup", turned off "allow hybrid sleep", enabled "allow wake timers" and turned on allow the computer to sleep" under multemedia settings I also tried the different DRAM frequencies available for 3200 MHz (32x100x1 and 24x100x1.33 in gear 1 and 2); even tried turning off the XMP. All those things seemed to do something but never fixed it. Some combinations would make the RAM's RGB to turn off on sleep, some would make it so that when I long press the power button if turned off but didn't magically turn back on. Specs: -CPU: 12th gen Intel i5-12600KF -GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3060 (12GB VRAM) -Memory: 1x16GB Crucial Ballistix RGB (BL16G32C16U4BL.M8FB1) -Storage: SSD_WD_BLACK SN750 SE 1TB -Motherboard: PRO Z690-A DDR4 -BIOS Version: 1.00 -OS: Microsoft Windows 11 Pro 64-bit Note: left XMP on and DRAM freq in 32x100x1 in Gear1 also, all drivers are up do date

Ryzen 5 1600 (non-AF) MSI B350M Pro-VDH (BIOS: 7A38vAH) RX 580 4GB (doesn't matter as the problem also occured with a 1050 TI) Seasonic GX-650 Windows 10 1909 Build 18363.836 When I put my PC into sleep, after waking it up the screen stays black (the backlight is on but it's black) and the fans spin at max. Leaving it in this state does nothing. I don't exactly know since when I have this problem, because I don't use it that much. The only thing I know is that it worked previously. I have been searching the whole web for a solution but haven't found one yet.

So is it bad to put my computer in sleep mode when you have SSD?

Sup guys, I have this problem with my PC that I've had for about 2 years. I bought all parts brand new and never changed the setup anything so all parts are about 2 years old and all are used the same amount. It happends randomly, not only when gaming, sometimes when I'm watching a youtube video or something (this is rare but it does happen sometimes) First it will just stop sending info to the monitors, like going to sleep mode. I can't wake it up or anything, so I hard restart the PC. Still won't send any info to my monitors. I tried to unplug it from the PSU and then waited a minute or two, then I tried to start it again. It still turns on and everything on the pc lights up, but it won't wake up the monitors. After unplugging the pc and waiting about 5-6 minutes and trying again, it started. To me, that sounds like an overheating issue. A while back my overclock randomly failed after having worked for almost 2 years no problem. I have removed dust and stuff like that from the fans and case quite often, but I haven't cleaned inside the PC in quite a while. So I'll try that. Any help appreciated! I recently built a new tower PC installed all the latest drivers with windows (which isn't activated yet) everything runs as it should be temps are also well within their limits, However I'm noticing a strange thing whenever I leave my PC in sleep mode for long time, like for more than 1 hour it doesn't wake up even after pressing power button, I can see CPU cooler fans turning on with their RGB but the motherboard RGB stays off & there is no signal to the monitor so I'm forced to hard reset the PC by long pressing the power button. This thing doesn't happen when I keep it in sleep mode for short duration. I tried googling this issue but couldn't find any similar issue. My PC spec are : AMD Ryzen 3700x (stock Wraith prism cooler), Gigabyte Aorus X570 elite, 8GB 3200mhz G.skill Ram * 2, Nvidia 1660ti, 750W PSU, 240GB M.2 nvme ssd, 1TB 7200rpm HDD, case NZXT H510

Hi Like the title explains most of the problem im experiencing, its basicly if i go into Sleep mode and turn my pc back on, my display starts to flicker and resest itself from 144HZ to 60HZ. I dont have the option to select 144HZ again in the windows settings. Specs: Display AOC G2770PF GPU GTX 1060 DUAL ASUS CPU Ryzen 1800X

Hey guys. Everytime i put my pc into sleep mode it wakes up by it self, i tried disconnecting the mouse to see if that was causing the problem. but it still wakes up by itself and at this point i have no idea what to do anyone knows why? any help would be much appreciated. Recently my computer turned off after being in sleep mode for a while. It turns out to blue screen while in sleep mode. The sleep mode also seems less sleepy. By this i mean that the front LED's of my case stay on instead of blinking. (wich they did before) I think it might has to do with my SSD. I read that could cause the problem and I have an firmware update that I can't install. Alright so here's the story: I had a UPS block connecting my PC to the wall, It wasn't really working properly and didn't keep my pc on when Power cuts, I was too lazy to check out the problem and I let it devide between my PC and the wall outlet. lately I had several power outage in the same day and my UPS stopped working the next day, it didn't turn on at all. so I disconnected the cables and used the same cables to connect my PC directly to the wall. The thing is, I still have the Power Battery Icon which jumps from 100% power to 0% back and forth, and from time to time my PC turns automatically into some kind of sleepmode randomly, and only wake up if I press on keyboard&mouse. this happens every 5-10 minutes and even after an hour totally random. How do I stop this? is the problem from the hardware or cable thing?why do I still have the power battery icon if i'm connected directly to the wall?

Hi I could really need some help my PC keeps going into sleep mode randomly. And I have change the power supply and change the power settings in windows. Hey my gaming computer keeps waking up automatically from sleep mode randomly and is really annoying. I think it may be due to my mouse picking up random vibrations and therefore moving and waking my pc up, but thats just a theory. And i cant be bothered shutting it down completely (seriously who does that?) Any help please????
