Can I ask for your opinion about my issue? Here's what happened as I try my best to summarise it: - PC used to be okay running with no OC except DOCP at 3200mhz - Today whenever I try to play my games (usually DMC 5 and Insurgency), my pc shuts off and turns on again. - reset everything in BIOS including DOCP so now I'm running on 2666mhz on ram - Same issue kept persisting and has been going on since this morning. Here's what I've tried so far: - reseating ram / reconnecting cables - repasting my CPU thermal goups - stressed test in aida64 for 2 hours and no problem. - stressed the gpu with GPU-Z for an hour, still no crash. - BIOS is on the latest version (version 3211). There's a newer one but still in BETA and I'm not gonna mess around with a BETA BIOS. One thing I've noticed is that whenever I launch a game e.g. DMC 5, I do notice that the LED in my cpu's cooler do be weakening in light then going back strong then weakening again then a shut down + restart happens. What do you think guys? my pc specs

I am facing a weird problem past few months. My PC turns off suddenly without any warning or anything, just within a split second. The weird thing is that, it won't turn on as is, no matter what. If I completely disconnect it from the mains power outlet and after few seconds I reconnect it, only then the PC turns on. At 1st I thought it might be over heating or overloading issue. So I tried stress testing it. the temps are fine and it didn't turn off. The shut downs are so random. opening an app or game, baam. loading a save game or file, baam. Opening a word file, baam. working on anything, baam. Watching a movie, baam. Like anything i do on it or within it, baam. If I try to reenact any of this again to pin point the problem it wont occur again. For example, If It turns off during a loading of a save game and I tried to load that save game again after the turn off, It wont turn off again and load normally. Another weird thing about this it some times it wont occur for days. sometime it will occur 10-15 times a day or until l I give up turning it on again or again. even sometimes it wont even POST and turn off.Like I press the power button the lights turn on the fans spin and after 1 second, it turns off. I am thinking it might be power supply issue. Any advice would be appreciated.

HI! I would like some advice with my desktop pc: Problem: case fans, cpu fans and vga fans still running after shutting down the pc. Already tried reinstalling windows, updating BIOS. i launched a 3D printing program 4 days ago and My pc started to run weird. kinda laggy. tryed shutting it down through the menu (normal way) and didnt do nothing. i had to forced shut down with the power button when i started it back up, it was super long to start. (i have fast boot on and never had problems with booting before) then it says my overclocking faled and i had to go to my bios. (overclock through the easy overclocking thing iin my ASUS bios) i tryed without the overclock and its still super long to boot and hard to shutdown. i dont think its a hardware problem, i havent changes any parts. alot of stuff is laggy and i cant find out why can anyone help me? Hi all, I'm running into some issues with my new build. I have been getting semi-random system shutdowns that occur while gaming. I say "semi-random" because until last night, they would be quite infrequent or follow no pattern. I first got one when playing Forza Horizons 4 with everything cranked up. 5 minutes in, while driving, boom - system turns off and then restarts. I didn't continue to play Forza to see how regular this was however, as Cyberpunk came out. With CP2077, I got more shutdowns, but this was because I played it more (15 hours so far). The shutdowns don't seem to be caused by anything specific in game, not taxing that I can see (other than just running that unoptimised nightmare), the shutdowns just appeared random. That all changed last night when I tried playing Warzone. I can get into a lobby, but the system will shutdown before I am able to parachute to the ground. It consistently shuts down with this game. I've been monitoring usage and temps on my second screen while playing and I can't see anything obviously. I'm not currently water-cooling this setup, so I have the stock cooler on my GPU and Noctua NH U9S cooler on my CPU (I know that's a bit puny, but my CPU temps rarely get into the 90s unless running stress test software. This doesn't happen in all games, only ones that are demanding on the system. I can run the Halo Master Chief Collection without any issues. I'm surprised that it occurs 100% in Warzone at the same point. I can't see anything in HWMonitor that stands out just before the shutdown. The CPU temps are around 75 degrees, GPU is around 55. Power usage appears fine, but then I don't know if it would have time to show a drop before the shutdown. The error that appears in the windows log is non-descript really, "Kernel-Power 41 (63) error". I've already looked up on this and all the different components, drivers, and other issues that could cause this vague error. So far I've tested/checked/updated; Memtest86 - ran 4 passes, 6 hours and no errors Microsoft Memory Diagnostic, no errors Prime95 - ran for an hour, no errors OCCT - ran OCCT test for an hour, no errors OCCT - ran PSU test (1), instant restart OCCT - ran PSU test (2) for an hour, no errors Updated all drivers Installed all windows updates Performed a bios update (although I've just realised this was an old firmware, thanks Armoury Crate.. I will flash to the latest non-beta bios and check). Turned off Fast Boot Changed the Power Management setting to Ultimate My new build spec is: i9 10900k @ stock with Noctua NH U9S cooler Asus Strix Z490-F Bios 0607 (about to test against 0901) G.Skill Trident Z 32GB (4x8GB) 3200 Mhz CL16-18-18-38 a.35v (XMP profile enabled/disabled) AMD RX 6900 XT (reference) @ stock Samsung M.2 970 Evo Plus 1TB Samsung M.2 960 Evo 500GB Samsung Evo 860 1TB 850W XFX Pro Black Edition, Full Modular, 80 PLUS Gold (quite old now but was flawless in my last build) Corsair Obsidian 1000D (air cooling only at the moment) Any help here or suggestions are welcome. What am I missed? What should I test next? I have an old Corsair TX750 PSU that I can swap in and test, but it's even older than my XFX PSU. I also have some spare DDR4 RAM but I didn't get any memory issues with the RAM so don't think it's that. I have a small wc loop I could use for the CPU, with my old EK-Supremacy EVO block to test CPU temps. I have my old Strix 1080 Ti I could swap out for the AMD card, although I can't see it being the GPU as it would happen all the time, right?

Hey Guys, I recently purchased a 4090RTX and a high quality PSU (Corsair HX1200w Platinum), as it is the most expensive piece of hardware I've ever owned, i fear the shutdown is related to the GPU. I've had it for around 3 weeks now, everything went smoothly so far, i just want to make sure that the shutdown isn't related to that. The only thing that was running during the night was Topaz Gigapixel, upscaling images from 720 to 1080, which the PC has been doing for the last 2 days without a problem (and if been doing constantly for the last 2-3 months) When i came to my PC this morning after i woke up, i saw that it was shut down. The cooking oven clock has not been reset, which is usually my indication of a if there was a power out. Looking at the event logs I'm familiar with, all i see is this is what i get in Application logs, an error with SharePoint, and then Information about gupdate that provides no information: The only clear indication i have is that when i started my PC i got an Error 6008 System log appear that clearly states: "The previous system shutdown at 6:31:51 AM on ‎1/‎29/‎2023 was unexpected." But before the shutdown, the only logs i see are these, which end approximately 40 minutes before the last Application log shown in the first image, and 50 minutes before the shut down: Is there a way to get a more accurate indication for this shutdown? additionally i wouldn't mind configuring/installing something new that will log constantly, in case this happens again - the most important thing to me is to find out if this had anything to do with the GPU.

Hey everyone, I have a gaming pc for more than 4 months now. Specs are as follows: Ryzen 5 3500 RTX 3060 12GB 16 GB DDR4 2 SSDs 512 GB each Corsair CV 650W PSU I am facing a problem with my PC shutting down completely whenever I am playing some AAA title at high settings. RDR2 shuts down at the medium as well. I am able to game for some time before this happens. At first I thought my outlet voltage was fluctuating, which I got checked and it was OK. To be sure, I added a voltage stabilizer before my UPS, and I am talking about those big chunky stabilizers which are able to step up quite nicely. Still I am facing the shut-down issue. I believe it is the Power Supply that could be tripping, but please suggest anything here. I have tried with the UPS, without the UPS, with the stabilizer and without the stabilizer and a cross setup between the two as well. Looking for anything here.

So i put my New PC together and after it worked fine for maybe 1 hour my PC just shuts down. The screen gets Black and the Fan of the grafics card get really loud. Sometimes when i wait a little Bit it restarts the System on its own and Sometimes its just stuck forever and I cant turn the PC off unless turning the PSU off. I Have no idea what causes this issue. I updated Windows, reinstalled it but that doesnt help. The only thing i can think off is that my PSU is to old for the rtx 2070 super. My Setup is: Ryzen 5 3600 (New) Rtx 2070 super (New) 16 GB ddr4 RAM (worked great before) Aorus b450 pro (New) 250 GB ssd with Windows (worked great) 1TB hdd with games (worked great) Corsair cx 750m PSU (i think this is the Problem because its maybe to old for the rtx? ) Hope you guys can help me, atm i cant change the PSU because the one that worked for me before got only 400 w and I guess i cant use that for this Setup anymore right? EDIT: I also just realised, sometines the PC doesnt even Start. when i Start the PC the grafics card Fans instantly go full Power and I get no screen and again i Have to turn the PSU off cause normal Power botton doesnt work anymore.

Hi guys! So here's my problem. It's been 7 months after building my own PC. For the past few weeks I get this unexpected freezes or hanging of my pc. The problem is it doesn't turn on if I reboot or force shut down then turning it on again. At first my thought is that I have hard disk problems so I took it off then see if my BIOS will run. However, it didn't. I need to wait 15-30 mins. and even 2 hours before I turn it on again but I have no clue what the problem is. Do you guys think it's a CPU problem? I saw other threads that is also similar to mine(AMD FX-8320). I really need help 'cause I'm also using my PC for academical works. A decent reply could help a lot.
