Is it worth upgrading from Radeon RX580 to Radeon RX6650XT on a build with Ryzen 5 2600? If it is, maybe it is worth considering GeForce RTX3060?

So I have a Ryzen 5 2600 with a base clock of 3.40GHz and with it running NOT overclocked i'm getting up to 3.77GHz out of it. This is my first PC build I wasn't sure whether or not this was normal or if I maybe messed something up during the boot. I'm not looking to overclock any time soon as i'm not super knowledgeable about computers yet to feel comfortable doing so.

Is a Ryzen 2600 overclocked a bottleneck, and if so how much, for a GTX 1070ti? I know there are better CPU's but I want to know specifically for this one.

So as the title says I currently have a ryzen 5 2600. I was gonna at first go with a r5 3600 and rtx 2070 super, but i figured if I held out and waited for the ryzen 4000 series i could pull the trigger on a 2080 super. So my question is will it work well at 240 hz or will the cpu limit it? My motherboard is a b450 tomahawk and psu is a evga 750w g3. Thank you for your time.

After reinstalling windows 10 my ryzen 5 2600 will no longer overclock even to AMDs recommended boost of 3.9. If I even try to test it at 3.8 it just crashes and won't allow me to do anything. I'm running some outdated hardware - Aurus B450 pro wifi mobo - ROG STRIX 1060 OC edition - 16gb ddr4 3000mhz ram - 256gb Kingston SSD - 1TB WD Black hdd - cooler master aio Also off note my headset won't register audio? The mic works fine, but the speakers aren't getting any audio and my pc seems to think that the speakers are an input?

I have a ryzen 5 2600 with a Rx 470 8gb. At the stock settings the CPU usage is 95-99% and gpu usage is very low (40-60%). The base clock for CPU was 3.4ghz so I clocked it to 3.5ghz in bios and the GPU usage was ok now (95-99%) but the CPU speed is now only 3.5ghz where as it ran on 3600-3650mhz before. What could be the problem.... Specs:- Ryzen 5 2600 Rx 460 8gb sapphire nitro plus 500W PSU 1x8gb DDR 4 Ram @ 3000mhz ( I know I should use dual channel) Mobo: Asus b350ma

Just here to ask a quick question... I currently have I Ryzen 5 2600 and a GTX 1660 running on a EVGA bronze 500w power supply, and was wondering if I could upgrade to a Ryzen 7 2700 and still have it run with 500w or would I need to get a better power supply?

So a few weeks ago I finally got to finish building my first computer. I'm pretty proud of myself and it's been running good so far, but after setting it all up and installing all the drivers I realized that my ddr4 3000mhz rated ram was only been running at 2133mhz this whole time. I read that it was common for it to run at lower ratings and that it was an easy fix and all that I had to do was boot into the bios and change to the xmp profile, but after doing that and exiting the bios my computer would crash whenever it booted up and just showed me the windows blue screen mentioning how I had corrupted something in the computer. I also remember it also mentioning something about voltage problems after looking up the code error. I didn't know what exactly had happened so I just restarted the computer and tried to boot into the bio again, but it wouldn't let me, and what followed after were a bunch of attempts at figuring out what was going on and how I could fix it. I'm not sure if it was something I did, or something the computer itself did but after a couple times restarting the computer it finally booted up as normal. I first looked at task manager and then in the bios and both mentioned how my ram was back to running at 2133. It was a big scare for me so since after that I tried to not mess around too much with stuff I don't really know anything about. I would appreciate any help or comments as to what I'm doing wrong or to what I need to do. If it helps, my build is the following. ryzen 5 2600 asrock b450m pro4 2x8g of corsair vengence lxp 3000mhz Once again, any comments are appreciated.

Hello! I am looking at building a new Mini-ITX gaming system. Trying to keep it somewhat portable while keeping thermals down without actually going liquid cooling in order to be able to transport as my carry-on luggage when I travel. I am upgrading from my current system which isn't ideal or as powerful as I want. From what I have researched this new build should definitely out-perform my current setup. Any insight or help would be greatly appreciated!!! Current Rig: - PC: Alienware Alpha R2 (I7 6700T, 16gb Ram (16x1), Samsung 860 Evo SSD 500GB) - External GPU: Alienware Amplifier with EVGA GTX 1070 FTW Future Build Info: - Use: Gaming/Video Editing - Games Played: Apex Legends, Tarkov, CoD, PUBG, GTA V, Rainbow Six Seige, Remnant from the Ashes - # of Monitors: 2 (LG Ultra-wide 29" 1080p and ACER 24" 1080p) - Already own - Peripherals: Steelseries Keyboard (RAW), Razor Naga Hex v2, Razor Tartarus V1 - Already own - External Storage: WD 2tb USBSS - Already own Build: MB: MSI b450i Gaming Plus AC Wifi CPU: Ryzen 52600x GPU: EVGA GTX 1070 FTW (Already owned) RAM: Ballistix DDR4 2666 16GB (8x2) Internal Storage: Samsung 860 Evo (500GB)(Already Own) and Samsung 960 EVO M.2 (250GB Boot Drive) Cooling: Noctua Nh-L9a (Low Profile) PSU: Seasonic SFX Focus 650W Case: Louqe Ghost S1 Ive done some research and I think all of these will fit clearances inside the case but there could be more viable options out there and better cooling solutions but I am still learning about all of this. I helped my brother build his PC but it was in a full size ATX Tower and he bought a Micro ATX MB without knowing but we managed to make it work.

(Sorry if the pictures look a bit wonky, don't know what was going on with my camera) Hey y'all, here's my current setup with a semi white/black theme. I've cobbled this together over about the past couple years, changing some things when I get the cash to do so. Just about everything has been painstakingly scoured for for the lowest price possible. I can't make THAT much working at McDonald's when i'm 15, so most of the parts are craigslist/ebay specials. Everything has been holding up great though, no issues whatsoever since transferring to the Meshify C. SPECS! Hello, Because I get some black screens crashes that freeze my PC, I've decided to run some CPU benchmarks also. What I used to stress the CPU: Blender and Prime95 and my CPU temperature went so high, up to 101 degrees without automatically turn off or thermal throttle. I run the stock cooler that came with the CPU, which is Wraith stealth and the thermal compound that was on the CPU. Is this normal? have anyone else reported temperatures like this?

I'm planning on upgrading my gaming and workstation build. Currently I have i5-2500K on an old motherboard and GTX 1060 3 GB. I'm aiming for 1080p above 60Hz. I'm buying Ryzen 5 2600 but I don't know which motherboard should I choose and which RAM, I was thinking about 16GB. I have 8GB now. Thanks for your help!

Can i use a second GPU for render scenes in obs
Bobina posted a topic in Programs, Apps and Websites
So i just upgraded from an i3 4160 to a Ryzen 5 2600 but i still have a GTX 960.In games like Fortnite/overwatch i can just lock my framerate to 75(my monitors refresh rate) but in some other games like pubg or rainbow six my gpu is always almost at 99%.Because of that my games run fine but my stream drops frames down to 10-20fps.i have a really old GT430 laying around somewhere in the house. Can i use that to composite and render scenes ?I'm still gone use x264 for my cpu and use the GTX 960 strictly for games. -

I've had a constant problem with the fps in Destiny 2 ever since I installed it on my now year old computer since it moved to Steam. I have a Ryzen 5 2600, an RTX 2060, 16 GB of DDR4 3000 mhz RAM, and the game is loaded onto a Crucial P1 1TB SSD (along with other games and my OS). I have not been able to break 60 fps, let alone 144 fps, since I came back to the game in October and I haven't been able to find the issue yet. MSI Afterburner doesn't give any weird readings, the CPU and GPU don't have abnormal usage rates, and there's no obvious bottlenecks. I've also updated all of my drivers and made sure the Nvida Control Panel isn't doing anything weird either. Any ideas on a fix?

Hello people, I just recently finished my build and I'm wondering if my temps are on the high side. While gaming I'm getting 60-68C on more demanding games and about 55-63 on lighter games. I'm 100% sure that my cooler makes good contact with the CPU. I'm idling at around 38-45C and while browsing it can hit 50C. Do I need to get a new CPU cooler, and if yes can I have some recommendations CPU : AMD Ryzen 5 2600 @3,8Ghz 1,28V w/ Wraith Stealth Mobo : Asrock B450M Pro4 Ram : G.Skill Aegis 2x8GB @3200 16-18-18-38 GPU : MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4GB @ +160MHz core +500MHz mem

Hi everyone at LTT forum, I have some performance problem with my setup and I need some guidance. My PC specs is: - ASUS Prime B350 - Plus Gaming (lastest Bios and Chipset Driver) - Ryzen 5 2600 @3.85 GHz by the Mobo OC Tunner (cooled by Thermal Grizzly liquid metal with Wraith Spire cooler) - 2x8 GB G-Skills Ripjaws 4 DDR4 2800MHz - Evga RTX 2060 Super SC Ultra @ base clock. - Thermaltake 550 W PSU - 250 GB Samsung 860 EVO (bootdrive) - 2 TB WD HDD (gamedrive). Performance: - Gaming with games like AC: Origins, RDR 2, ... feels like the CPU is struggling and the GPU is chilling, But with games like Apex Legend GPU is always 100% and CPU just chilling. (60-75 fps most! of the time at default Setting: Very High to Ultra) - Temperature usually around 60°C to 70°C on both CPU and GPU - Multi-tasking like gaming and watch Twich is horrible, game's performance go all down 50 fps or 45 fps with games like AC: Origins. - I tried Overclocking CPU to 3.9 GHz (better Cinebench Score than 4.0 GHz) but the temp is 90°C... - I found something interesting is when the FPS and the Refresh Rate match gaming feels super smooth but otherwise feel wrong XD even at 50 fps and 50Hz super smooth. Is my CPU need to be upgraded? Or the Mobo because of the 3.0 PCI?...

So I have an AMD RX 580 8gb, Ryzen 5 2600, 16gbs of ram, 600 watt EVGA PSU, Aorus pro wifi motherboard, and a Toshiba HDD. My PC has ran flawlessly for a little over a year now but recently I get about half the FPS I usually get in any game. I occasionally can get the game to run at a playable 144 FPS but sometimes it’ll crash and when I reopen the game it goes right back to the 80-90 fps mark. I play Rainbow Six Siege 99% of the time and have tried dx12 and Vulkan but Vulkan runs at a locked 60 fps. Ive tried the driver behind the latest AMD driver and the optional driver and haven’t seen any improvements. I’ve also tried different power plans, reinstalling the AMD drivers, messing with the AMD settings to maximize the performance, reinstalling the game, etc. If anyone has ANY tips please send them my way quarantine is bad enough without video games lmao.

Hello fellow readers, I was having some trouble with my Ryzen 5 2600 last night. After some help here and research I got some amazing results. So here is how you can squeeze out all the power out of your Ryzen 5 2600. Please note that it MUST have adequate Cooling (I recommend Snowman from Aliexpress for less the $20 Cad) . Download Ryzen Master, safely raise your clocks and if needed apply more voltage to achieve wanted results. or Full send, set all 6 clocks to 4100Hz and voltage to 1.425V (these are the numbers that worked for me, depending on silicon lottery your clocks might be different) Results will surprise you. Here is a link to my userbenchmark results https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/22391127
