(I'm not American, English is not my primary language, excuse any obvious misspellings in my post). Hello everyone, thank you for you're attention. This is my first post here on Linus tech tips forum, and i need help big time. Two day ago i decided to format my HDD and install a fresh copy of windows, because after so many months of installing and unninstalling so many games and programs my computer was a bit slugish. Though this computer was never really that fast, i never had problems playing games and using programs. My Setup: M5A97 LE R2.0 Mother Board AMD FX-8350 4.0 GHz Eight-Core Processor (Running Stock speed, with a better Cooler and thermal paste) 2 DD3 4 mb rams Gs Skill Sniper, Running at 1866 MHz GTX 750 Ti HDD Hitachi Sata 1TB 500W Power Suply Problem: After ereasing the windows and old files and installing a fresh copy windows 7 - 64 bit, and the latest drivers i could find in the motherboard website and Nvidia, the computer was worse than bofore, Slow as hell for anything, opening "C:" Slow, opening Chrome Slow, Copying and pasting this very text into a wordpad file Slow and the program got "not responding" for 1 minute then it came back and i saved the file, Opening Calculator 4 seconds to open + 2 seconds to load the buttons, 3 minutes to get me to Windows user select + 4 ~ 5 more minutes till i can actually use it, that with no secondary programs trying to open in the background(everything not essential disabled in MSCONFIG). As i said this computer was never lightning fast, but never this slow. I've managed to install and open a game: After alot of waiting i've managed to install a game and play it for sake of testing, The game is Path of exile, took 5 minutes for the game to open, usually it would open in 30~60 seconds and when i clicked to login the game Froze for more 2 minutes, i got disconnected afterwards, re-opened the game it opened very quickly under 20 segonds, and i played arround for 10 minutes, with some occasional Sttuder of a second here and there but nothing worrying. Print Screen ingame just standing still for comparison ( you can see the FPS and Ping in the right superior corner) Playing, killing things, explosions and Sh*t ( you can see the FPS and Ping in the right superior corner) How were the game specs Things i tried: - Formating the and installing windows 5 times already. - Installing new drivers/ old drivers. - Swaping Sata Cables arround or adding new cables. - Swaping Rams arround (resulted in a Blue Screen while trying to install a game). - After a fresh install, i also installed Advanced system care, and let it run fixing possible errors, defraging registry and fixing this and that, and defraged the whole HDD with smart defrag(it found 4000 fragments FIY), kinda helped a little, but still, it was a fresh windows install for crying out loud. - Copying a 5 GB file from another HDD to this one, to see speeds ( 80~100 Mbs, which is normal, so nothing to see here) - Cleaning the computer and changing the thermal paste of the CPU and GPU. - Downloaded and used Tool for Hitachi HDD to scan for errors ( all clean by the way ). - Loaded Optmal Defaults in BIOS. - Updated BIOS. - Activated Turbo in BIOS. Nothing Worked...obviously. Extra info: - Sometimes the computer Studders for 1~4 seconds. - Sometimes it freezes for 5~15 seconds. - Often a window goes (not responding) and then comes back if i wait for a minute or two. - Computer sits Idle at 20% memory consumption and 0~5 % CPU usage. - My Thermals are all Bellow 70 C°. - For some reason that might not be related, i'm browsing and listening to music on youtube, and the video stops loading and any other page i have stops loading and goes "waiting for cache" for 2 or 3 minutes, even though i'm still talking normally on Discord with my friends, and downloading something on my Mobile Phone, i have Broadband 100 mbps Fiber-optic FIY, i don't know if this could also be related, but it didn't used to happen, disconsider this if it is unrelated to the main problem. Anything else, please ask. But don't ask before reading. This is my only computer and i can't afford to buy a new complete Setup, exchanging 1 ram or a HDD is fine, but having to buy a whole new PC is a big NO NO at the moment. Hi all, hoping someone here may have an idea about this. I have an ASUS Z170-A with a 6600K and 32 gigs of ram. My SSD is a Samsung 850 Evo 250g. I noticed that sometimes things loaded slow so I ran Magician and my speed at purchase was 540 read, 528 write and now I am lucky to hit 90 read and 50 write. I tried Crystal Mark and it too gave me really bad speeds, I could get better from my 1TB WD Black. I have my older OCX Vertex 3 in my system and it too is running about the same numbers. I have even done a clean install of Windows 10 thinking maybe something glitched in the reg but still getting the same numbers. The only issue I have had was about a month or so ago I came home to find my Corsair H110i V2 pump had died and my system was at the boot screen blinking CPU over heat. The heat coming from the cpu was high, I could feel it coming from my case as I got close. I had it OC'd to 4.4 when this all happened and it would have been no more than 8 hrs like that since it was fine when I left for work. I did see the temp was pegged at 100C but then shut everything down. Could that heat have fried something? I have checked and I am in ACHI mode, both BIOS and Windows confirm that much. I am at a loss as to what the issue is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My new pc seems a little slow. My ram is working but my cpu and gpu seem to be slow. Got a 3000 on time spy bench mark and getting average of 27.8fps on radeon setting menu when I alt in ets2 on 1080p ultra! On cpuz my cores were around 800mhz each and I installed the cpu and gpus latest drivers... The build is 16 hours old... Specs R3 3100 Rx 580 8gb sapphire pulse Corsair vengeance 2x8gb ddr4 3200mhz ram Antec neoeco zen gold WD blue nvme 500gb Wd blue 5400rpm 1tb 2.5inch hdd Gigabyte b450m ds3h

I have a 1060 3gb version and an i7 7700k. Also I have 16gb ddr4 ram and my games still don't run that good. The first game I tried playing was Pubg which got decent frames I played on some medium settings and some ultra settings and I got around 120fps. I tried to play grand theft auto v next, but its just looks awful. It defaults it's self to 720p lowest settings. I tried to up the settings as shown in this video but my frames were awful. Also I tried rust which runs the worst I got around 60fps on the lowest settings. Please tell me what's wrong with my pc. I got this pc recently from ibuypower. It was a good deal only 950$.

Today after a week of studying ... , I wanted to make a break so I jumped on my pc played a little bit and found that the gpu fans are not turning alot and the fps are very low its frustrating !!!!, after that I run a benchmark and got 20fps instead of 60fps on full hd resolution 4x ... Don't know what to do , I cheked my drivers they are all fine ...
