I just built a pc with a 13600kf and a z790 edge wifi with a EVGA 1070, but I can't access the bios. Sometimes it will boot into windows, but as soon as I try to boot into the BIOS it won't display anything and become unresponsive, it won't even boot into Windows after an attempt to get into the BIOS. I feel like I've tried troubleshooting everything, even after a BIOS flash it's still unresponsive with no debug LEDs on. Please help

I brought Corsair ml120 rgb elite and I’m not satisfied they have a really bad hum to them I through it wouldn’t be that bad but it is horrible. I’m going to try it for a couple more days but I don’t know. I have the sp120 elite rgb they don’t have that problem I’m thinking of returning the ml120 and buying sp120 is this a good idea?

I have an old PC that I am trying to fix. It didn't seem to power on at first but buying a similar used motherboard it kind of worked. The computer seems to have powered on. Sometimes it even gets to the splash screen (shuts down like 0.1 second after tho). I have already tried 2 GPU's, and like 5 PSU's (4 of them were 300 - 350 watts, and one of them was 450 watts, but that one didn't even get to the splash screen once). I've tried 8 RAM sticks, some of them did get to the splash, some didn't. Specs: Gigabyte GA-M57SLI-S4 (rev 2.0) - Motherboard AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600 - CPU Asus EN6600/TD/128M/A + Sapphire Radeon X1650 Pro Ultimate 256MB DDR3 - GPU's 4x Kingston KVR667D2N5/1G (In the image I provided, only one is inserted for troubleshooting resons) - RAM Arctic 64 - CPU Cooler FSP ATX-300PNF - Power supply PS: In the provided video, the splash screen did not show up. Recently when I am playing a game, my PC will randomly stop outputting to both of my monitors. They will black screen at the same time and act like there is no input to them. Sometimes after they black screen the audio will not work but sometimes it still does. Im not sure if my mouse and keyboard still work after cause I can't see. I could be gaming for hours and nothing happens then other times I am gaming for 20 min and it just stops outputting. The only way to fix it is to restart my pc with the button on my case and it boots up after that no problem. I have tried unplugging and plugging in my monitors' displayport cables from both ends multiple times and it hasn't fixed it yet. I made sure to update my bios and nvidia geforce drivers as well but I still have the issue. It has never happened in the regular desktop mode, only when gaming. This is a PC that I built over a month ago and this issue just started this week. Specs: R5 5600x GTX 3060ti 16GB of RAM EVGA 650W Gold PSU MSI B-450 A-Pro Max 1 Tb WD Blue M.2 SSD If anyone has had this same issue or has any idea how to help then that would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, people, I need some help with my PC, you see, it is having a lot of trouble with itself, even if I am just on Discord and typing, it goes up to at least 35% or higher on my CPU. Here is an what I saw when I was downloading something on my computer: I am really worried, because, at the moment, my PC is very loud, like a growling noise it is producing, and, my CPU and disk get to at least 80% or more as well as my memory increases when I am playing on Pixelmon with Technic launcher (Using 9GB of memory on my 12 GB RAM installed.) It just does not appear to be how it was before, it has gotten very sluggish and takes about 20 minutes just for one thing to uninstall, which was NEVER like that originally. So, basically what I am trying to tell you guys is that my PC may have an hardware issue, why I think this, is due to the fact it had a MAJOR FPS drop about 3 days ago now, where I was playing ROBLOX, and it all of a sudden froze and took like 10 minutes to return to 'normal' again, or, I would just be VERY laggy, where I would be running at like 2 FPS on my computer, when the game is only a building game with not that much on it. My PC had to go through a new hard drive since the old one got corrupted as I messed around the Registry when using Auslogics, trust me, DO NOT USE IT, IT IS VERY RISKY and it can make you potentially in danger as it is just a scareware for your computer. Anyways, I also noticed that my PC would be hot sometimes when I am playing Pixelmon. I also had to go through 4 melted kettle leads to then use another one after, like I am doing right now. My brother ordered me this one from Amazon, which was like £8, I do not think price exactly matters?? I am unsure of this. But, I also have told my parents, to the point where I was crying because I am afraid it is going to overheat like my OLD PC back in early 2020. (It was a bag of rubbish, the RAM was worth like £3 or something. It was THAT low-end.) When I told my dad and showed him the screenshots of my PC when I was just on Discord, and Microsoft Edge, using HWMoniter to show my PC's state it was in at that time yesterday, he told me it is "all normal, my PC reaches 45 degrees when I am doing nothing, do not worry, Betherz." I do have my doubts, like I am right now, because, my dad does not know a lot about computers, but, he did build my PC for me, (it being a custom built one by Acer.) I just asked my mum to take it to a repair shop and let them have a look at it, she told me she would, but, then my dad told my mum that "They will ask you to get a new CPU, graphics card and everything when you don't need it." This is what my PC is like at the moment when I am just using Microsoft Edge, Discord, Snip and Sketch, and HWMoniter: If anybody could reply to me and give me some information on what I can do would be helpful. Thank you.

Hello! New to pc parts and stuff so my terminology might be somewhat off. I recently picked up this pc https://www.newegg.ca/abs-ali597/p/N82E16883360232?Item=N82E16883360232 Here are the specs to the build that are necessary to the issue Motherboard: Gigabyte B560 DS3H AC Y-1 Fans: Deepcool cf120 Case: Deepcool MATREXX 50 My issue: The rgb on the cf120 fans at the moment are only able to controlled by the button on the top of the case rather than the rgb software on the computer. Goal: From what I've gathered online and talking to others is that I need to connect the controller to the argb port on the motherboard which is the D_LED1 port, which has the thee prongs with one space between them. I am unable to find the cord to plug into the argb port on the motherboard to fix the issue. I will link a youtube video that has instructions on how to fix this exact issue however my motherboard and case/setup are slightly different than his and I am unable to find the cord that matches his: Here are some photos that show my setup: The cord running from the rgb fans (unnamed(1)) runs to the piece in the 2 and 3 unnamed photos and runs up to the hub at the top of the back of the pc (unnamed pic). Let me know if there is any other information you need.

Hi so recienlty I upgrade from a 1050ti to a 3070ti and I am getting really unstable frames as well as not as high. I looked everywhere from it being a GPU issue to a RAM issue to a CPU issue. I Have: Unistalled and installed drivers twice. Enabled XMP Played on low settings and and had the same issue Played on fps limit set to 60fps and unstable My CPU core hits only 100% when loading into or out of a fortnite game other than that around 50% or less per core Changed power setting in NVIDA and on Windows Looked at many threads from year ago and no result Only game which gives me high fps but also dips down below 60fps is Rainbow Six Seige My Hardware is: CPU: Ryzen 7 3700x GPU: Gigabyte 3070ti RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB 3200MHz (Dual channel) Motherboard: Tomahawk B450 MAX (MSI) PSU: Corsair 750W (80 Gold+) Anymore information Im happy to give. Please can someone help. Thank you

Hi so when playing games like Gta 5, Minecraft w/ shaders and warzone I avg 50-70 fps, I Understand my system is underperforming and I've done most of the recommended things people say to do. I disabled v sync in game and in Nvidia control panel. my power mode is ultimate performance. My ram has xmp enabled. I only have discord open when playing games. I reset my pc often. I have over 100gb free storage. background apps are minimal same with start up. I have the newest Windows and Gpu driver along with my motherboard newest bios. I've tried a different motherboard and a different power supply. I have deleted and reinstalled games, even factory reset my pc. my temps are between 40-50c doing nothing and 65-70c when gaming. This is the 4th pc ive built and my second time working with a 2070 super, Id say this pc barley half the performance as what I previously experienced. I use nzxt cam to check my Gpu, Cpu and ram usage while gaming and my Gpu max goes 60% and CPU no more that 55% along with ram no more than 60% unless were talking about warzone.. Other than that Ive watched countless videos and read a fair amount of threads finding people with similar problems but no solution has worked for me. Maybe people of the LTT community can help me! Thank you. Specs: Cpu: ryzen 5 2600x Gpu: Asus 2070 super dual Evo Mobo: Asrock B450 Steel Legend Ram: 2x8 16gb 3200mhz cl16 T Force Storage: 1tb 970 Samsung Evo Nvme Psu: 650w Evga bronze Wifi: Cudy Ax3000 WIFI/Bluetooth card Case: Nzxt 510i Cooling: 2x140mm intake 2x120mm exhaust(case) // For the Cpu cooler I have R5 3600x Stock Cpu cooler (thicker than the 2600x stock cooler) Monitor: Dell - SE2719HR 27" IPS LED FHD FreeSync Monitor 1080p 75hz Please Help!

My system is the Ryzen 7 3700x with a 1660 super (placeholder). Is 3 fans enough for this configuration? The fans are from the Lian Li Lancool 2, they are included with the case. 2 intake on front, and 1 output on the back. I will be playing some games like Minecraft, Rocket League, and maybe some FPS shooters. Please help me if you have the time. Thanks! So I just rebuilt PC in a new case because I got a 3080 and it wouldn’t fit in old case. Originally had a Fractal Define Meshify C and a Corsair H100i as the cooler and a 750 watt psu from Corsair as well the GPU was a Strix 2070 super and everything ran great was able to play a game and watch a stream at the same time with not much lag. But now I have a new Case the Phanteks p600s and a EVGA 1000 watt psu and a Noctua NH-U12 Black edition with a Gigabyte RTX 3080 and when I play a game it’s fine but when I watch a stream with it the game is a laggy and not sure what to do. This is my build now https://pcpartpicker.com/list/s94kwc And this is the build before it updated it https://pcpartpicker.com/list/8jH8Mb

Budget (including currency): $1,200 Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: mid-graphics games and 2D Animation Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Updated list after a bit of tweaking on it, this is the result, what I'm really double checking on now is the motherboard, is there any that will work for my list, along with it being capable of supporting dual monitor (2nd monitor will be using a VGA cable). the power supply Im unsure if i could go for a cheaper one, because I don't need that many voltage... something like the Thermaltake Smart 600 W.

So, i was looking on a ebay equivalent in my country and i found a well-priced rtx 3070, at 350$. I bought it and 2 days ago it arrived. I didn't have much time to test it because I went on vacation yesterday, but still managed to install it in my pc and run some games and a stress test. In valorant I got only 165 fps with no frame drops but still I was expecting more. Next, I tried Fortnite and I got a little over 100 fps, but with big frame drops (sometimes to low 40s). And then I ran FurMark and the gpu ran fine, with no frame drops or artifacts, no crashes, everything normal. So rn I don't know if I have a cpu bottleneck or if the gpu has some problem of some sort. Right now my config is: -Palit GamingPro Rtx 3070 OC -Ryzen 5 2600 -32gb 3200mhz (but i disabled XMP bc they weren't stable so they are at 2666mhz) G.skill Ripjaws -600W PSU( I don't remember the brand rn) -Gigabyte 450M DS3H -1 Tb Samsung evo m.2 Before the 3070 I had a gtx 1660 and I had in valorant 120 fps and in fortnite 60 and again, with big drops.

My build is currently using an AMD fx 4300 cpu, Evga gtx 960 2gb, and 8gb of ddr3 RAM. Plan on upgrading the cpu to a AMD fx 8350 and my RAM to 16gb. Would the AMD rx 480 8gb, or Gtx 1060 6gb be better for this build? Im very new to pc building and have basic knowledge of computer parts so sorry if its a dumb question. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me!

I am starting to look at parts i want to buy for my computer i want to build and i'm wondering what CPU would best fit using lots of editing, animating and gaming needs. Any help is appreciated.

Alright so, this may be a bit lengthy... Upon logging into my computer after a hard reset, I find that the majority of the programs will not start, and if they do they display a white background such as chrome. Upon investigation of the task manager, it shows that my CPU usage is at 100%(along side with every program showing 0%usage of everything aside from memory) , Memory fluctuation between 10-20% and 0% usage everywhere else. If I go to the resource monitor, it shows everything working correctly aside from CPU being at maximum frequency, and a few programs being suspended, such as -- ShellExperienceHost.exe SearchUI.exe ReminderServer.exe SkypeHost.exe Restrictions show, that I'm unable to use the start menu to turn my computer off in any way, or open the majority of the support platforms available to me. I am also unable to give administration access to everything as the dialog will refuse to pop up when needed, the computer also refuses to begin a factory reset, even while using a recovery disk, saying that the drive is locked Specs Include - GTX 1070 8GB MSI B85 - G41 MOTHERBOARD I5- 4460 4-CORE CLOCKED @3.2GHz 1 - 1TB HDD (sysfiles, and important items and music 1 - 2TB HDD (holding exclusively games and other EXE's) 8x2 (16GB) of DDR3-1600 500b Watt EVGA powesupply 1 Optical drive (bluray) Ps. Temps are fine, and I'm going through reseating components Pps. Its either hard restart or non at all right now, as the power button only works if you hold it down

I am wanting to build a pc and was wondering if I should get a GeForce GTX 1070 or Radeon r580 8Gb with a freesync monitor. I don't want screen tearing and I am on a budget. What one is the best. If there is another amd card that is better under 450$ let me know. I am determined on this monitor Samsung CFG70 Series 27-Inch. Mainly the 2 HDMI inputs one for my future PC and my current XBox.
