Issue: So, in about September 2020, my PC started bugging out so I replaced the motherboard and then my monitor stopped detecting my pc (but my tv detects it) so I replaced my monitor. The monitor is brand new, it detects my laptop but still not my PC; my PC connects to my tv but doesn't connect to my monitor. I've tried everything I could find on the internet but the issue persists. PC specs: AMD Ryzen 5 2400G (Vega 11 integrated graphics). Asus EX - A320M Gaming Motherboard. Corsair Vengeance 1x16 GB DDR4 RAM. Crucial BX500 120GB 3D NAND SATA 2.5-inch SSD. Western Digital WD10EZEX 1TB Internal HDD. Monitor - BenQ gw2283 (The new one) Thermaltake PS-TRS-0500NPCWEU-2 TR2 S 500W Power Supply. Thanks for taking the time to read this

Hey guys, so i've been having problems with my pc recently. Whilst updating my GTX 750 Ti drivers (it was supposed to be a clean install) And while installing new drivers my screen went black and there was a box in the middle saying "Out of range" I checked youtube and a lot of forums and only saw things about safe mode and for some reason when my computer would be starting up and i would be mashing down the F8 key, it would only give me the option to go into the windows 10 bios or the motherboard asus bios so i went into the asus bios i looked through it and i found a option to enable intergrated graphics and i thought that would fix my problem with the out of range screen, but it only got worse. By enabling that settings my computer's monitor now said 'No signal detected' i rechecked all my cables and they were fine. I really need help to solve this. Maybe someone has the same ASUS motherboard bios and could give me the walkthrough or screenshots on how to turn off intergrated graphics because when i start up my computer it only shows "No signal detected" and i would need to probably turn off the intergated graphcis while not being able to see my screen. Please someone help me because being stuck ar home doesnt help. Thank you for reading

Hey all, So I custom build my rig about 8 months ago and everything has been fine till 2 days ago where my screen is saying no signal detected. I'll post my computer details below then I'll cover what I have already attempted: OS: Windows 10 Motherboard: Z170X - Gaming 3..... Version: F6 Processor: Intel Core i5 6600K GPU: MSI GTX 1060 3GB Note: I'm running a Dual Monitor Set Up. Two days ago, I was watching netflix like normal. I left my house for 2 hours and when I came back, I shook the mouse to wake the computer up and my second monitor was saying NO CABLE DETECTED. I changed the input on the monitor to HDMI hoping it would work but it just says NO SIGNAL DETECTED now instead. To be specific, the monitor that doesn't work was connected through HDMI and is a BENQ GL2760H running at 60hz. My other monitor that is still working is connected via DP and is an AOC G2460PF running at 144hz. Since nothing out of the ordinary happened before i left my house and I wasn't downloading anything while I was gone I thought maybe there was an automatic update while I was gone that messed things up so... 1. I recovered my computer to a point that was saved 5 days ago. No change. I undid the recovery. 2. I updated everything on my motherboard(GIGABYTE) and the drivers for the graphics card(NVIDIA). 3. I can confirm the monitor indeed works because I can connect it to my PS4 via HDMI and it works. 4. I can confirm the HDMI cable works as I've tried 3 cords. 5. I connected the HDMI cord to my currently working AOC G2460PF and I get a no signal detected error as well. NOTE: The BENQ ONLY has an hdmi port available and my graphics card has 1 HDMI port and 3 DP. Thanks in advance, Jonathan

Hey guys!I need help with my friend's computer that I helped him buy for about 3,5 years ago, after encountering a odd problem that I haven't experienced before. The specs for his PC are: - Monitor: BenQ XL2411T - Motherboard: MSI B85-G43 gaming - Memory: Corsair Vengeance DDR3 2 x 4 GB - GPU: MSI Nvidia 760 TF 2GD5 / OC - PSU: Corsair CX500M (black) - Storage: Samsung 840 EVO MZ-7TE120 120 GB and WD Black 512 GB - OS: Windows 10 The problem is that monitor will occasionally display "No signal detected" and shows a black screen, while the computer boots and runs just fine (I need to hold down the power button to turn it off, so I know that it boots to Windows). However, after turning the monitor off and leaving it alone, it tends to work perfectly again the next day. Futhermore, we have discovered that the fan sockets sysfan1 and sysfan 2 on his motherboard isn't working properly, as they fail to power one of this front case fan and his back case fan. Interestingly enough there still must be power in the fan sockets, as the fans turn a little bit in the first second of me turning the computer on. Additionally the LED lightning on the case's power button turn on and off occasionally also, when booting the PC. My first reaction to this problem was that I might be a driver issue, so I told him install the latest drivers for his GPU and that he had all the lastest updates for Windows 10. e has done so but the problem pursists. I told him to clean the inside of his case for dust, but that didn't help either. After that didn't work, I strongly believe it the problem might be hardware-based. Therefore I had him try out different cables on this monitor (both HDMI and DVI-D) and try to connect his PC to another working monitor. In addtion, I had him connect his laptop to his primary monitor, to check if the monitor itself was the problem. The problem persist after changing cables and monitor, and this primary monitor didn't have any problems when he connected it to his laptop. Hence, I concluded that that the monitor itself wasn't the source of the problem. Consequently I believe that the source of the problem is either his motherboard or PSU. However, because of the problems with sysfan 1 and 2 and the occasionally missing LED lightning in the power button of the case, I strongly believe that the source of the problem is with the motherboard. What do you guys think?Thank you in advance. Rasmus

Today there was a lightning strike near my house. My computer was on and the monitors shut off right after the cracking noise. The computer remained running. I unplugged everything and after 20min plugged back in. Computer works but both monitors are saying "No signal detected". I searched online and it seems something could be fried. Im thinking its gpu but im not sure cause the gpu fans still work. What can be the problem?

Using dvi-d, my pc boots into the loading bios screen , and once starts to boot into windows, black screen/no signal-detected. However other ports like display port or HDMI works fine. It seems my dvi-d is not liking the 1920x1080 resolution, i have tried changing the cable ( dvi dual link) and it doesnt fix, i uninstalled the gpu driver and i got in to windows with dvi-d with 800x600, once i installed the driver where it automatically changes to 1920x1080, no signal detected again. Has anyone face this issue and got a solution to it? Thanks! Monitor : xl2411 GPU : Asus ROG GTX 1070ti

Hi guys, I have just built a new PC and upon booting it up for the first time, I'm not sure if it posts or not as the monitor keeps bringing up a "No signal" message. I have conducted various troubleshooting exercises but to no avail. I am out of ideas so hopefully someone can suggest something I might have missed. Below is a list of individual system components and troubleshooting steps I took: Hardware Case: Lian Li Tu150 CPU: Ryzen 3800x RAM: 32gb G-skill TridentZ DDR4-3600 Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix x470-i CPU Cooler: Cooler Master MA620M Storage: 1xCrucial P1 500gb nvme m.2 & 1xCrucial P1 1tb nvme m.2 PSU: Silverstone SST-SX700-LPT (700w, 80 plus Platinum) GPU: Gtx980 (only hardware repurposed from previous build as I'm planning to hold out until new 3000 series is announced) Fans: 2xCooler Master MF120 Halo Monitor: BenQ xl 2720 Troubleshooting steps taken: I know for a fact that the monitor and cable work fine as I had a PS4 plugged in the previous day through an hdmi. Nevertheless I ensured that the hdmi was plugged into the GPU and not the mobo and for good measure I tried 3 different hdmi cables and a display port cable, in every available slot (both monitor and GPU) but no success. I took the PC apart and rebuilt it ensuring that the CPU was properly seated, mobo was correctly on the standoffs and not flexing anywhere and that everything was correctly and securely plugged in (GPU, RAM, CPU power, 24-pin, PCIe power etc). Same result. All components seem to be getting power (GPU fans start on startup, mobo power LED on, RAM rgb on, CPU cooler rgb on, case fans spin&rgb on etc) I tried booting with only 1 RAM stick installed. No success. Cleared the CMOS by shorting jumper pins as required for this mobo. No success. The motherboard's qLED system is of no help as there isn't an LED colour which remains always on indicating a specific error. Rather, it cycles in this order: red (CPU), white (VGA) and yellow/green (Boot). It does not light up yellow (DRAM) and it repeats the cycle but no one LED stays continuously on. I do not think that the system keeps restarting with every qLED cycle as the fans do not turn off at any point. There are no BIOS beeps heard at any point of startup. Please note that the mobo is apparently "AMD Ryzen 3000 Desktop Ready" therefore BIOS should be fully updated for the 3800x. I would be grateful for any ideas/suggestions. Thanks!

Hey there everyone, so i am having a bit of a dilemma. I just built my first PC and i'm getting no "signal detected" on my monitors. I have tried numerous tech forums such as toms hardware. No help has been given. All the fans on the GPU and CPU cooler are working, as well as the LED on the cooler. My keyboard lights up as well. The weird thing about the keyboard, if I have the GPU power to the PSU plugged in (both cords) the keyboard will no longer be lit, but if i remove 1 of the cords, it lights up. My specs: Asrock 990FX Killer Fatal1ty am3+ Motherboard AMD FX-8350 XFX Radeon R9 390 8GB GDDR5 GPU 16 GB ram 1600 Corsair H100i GTX CPU cooler Samsung Evo 850 500gb SSD Fractal Design define R5 Corsair AX860 *860 watt psu* Razer blackwidow keyboard Razer deathadder mouse (2) HP Pavilion 25xw LED monitors. I want to mention, i assembled everything in the case before testing it and have since then gone to the breadbox method. I honestly don't know what to do. I have done the following: Swapped HDMI cables Tried DVI to hdmi adapter Swapped monitors removed CMOS battery & switched the jumper removed the ram & left 1 stick in. checked the CPU, its in correctly GPU is in the 1st PCIE slot (have moved it to others, still didn't work)

So I've been trying to set up my triple monitors since I recently upgraded my old graphics card, Nvidia GT 640, to a PCS+ Radeon R9 390. Thing is, all three monitors worked fine with that old card. This new one on the other hand, doesn't seem to be picking up one of the monitors. The main monitor I use is connected via HDMI to the graphics card. Second one is actually a TV, connected HDMI to the onboard graphics of the motherboard. The main change is the third monitor, which is a Gateway FPD1760 TFT LCD Color Monitor that is now connected via DVI-D to the graphics card, before this was connected through a VGA -> VGA Converter DVI-I -> Graphics Card, and it worked perfectly fine. The monitor signal is picked up during BIOS startup, since it replicates the image on the main monitor, but right after BIOS, signal is gone, says "No signal," and then the power button goes from blue to a yellow-orange color. Any help is highly appreciated! Specs:

Hey, So I bought a BenQ XL2411T since we do not have the 2420TE here yet ( and importing it sounds expensive and difficult ). I've been using it for a bit more than a month, connected to my GTX780 using a straight DVI to DVI cable ( provided with the monitor ). Also, I have a Asrock Z77 Extreme4 mobo. Two days ago, I boot my comp' in order to watch a few episodes before going to bed. No issues. The morning after, I boot it up again to read the news before going to work : bios screen and Windows loading screen display at a very small resolution, and when the loading is complete, black screen with "No Signal Detected!". So I tried a few things : - rebooted and went into failsafe mode : windows show up, at a 800x600 resolution. Removed the GPU drivers entirely, rebooted, no luck. - went into safe mode, installed latest nvidia drivers, no luck either. - connected with a hdmi cable equipped with a dvi-to-hdmi dongle. Worked ( although I can't use full 1080p 120hz resolution, which in my book is a fail ) - deactivated the iGPU in case it was suddenly conflicting, no luck. - tried reversing the hdmi to dvi cable, as well as plug it in any conceivable ways : DVI1 to HDMI, DVI2 to HDMI, HDMI to DVI, iGPU HDMI to DVI, iGPU DVI to HDMI. Everything worked. I didn't try HDMI to HDMI, though, but I bet it works. - Also, I tried connecting DVI1 to DVI, DVI2 to DVI, as well as iGPU DVI to DVI. No Signal Detected. In short, it seems like everything but straight DVI to DVI is working, which lead me to believe the cable became faulty overnight ( I should mention I have 2 cats, so, yeah, they may have been spreading some mayhem ... ). But I also read about faulty monitor EDID which may happen randomly, so I take a look on the Internet and got myself a few tools to check and replace the EDID. Couldn't update it though, as Powerstrip seems to be the only tool and requires to be bought to update the monitor EDID. While I'm trying to get a new dual link dvi cable to do some tests, what would you guys suggest? Did you ever run into this issue?
