Hello I'm an 14 year old who will make his first PC in December. Just like any other person I want the best PC I can have ,but learning from Youtube and the internet is a bit difficult and I only know about the specifics of some brands such as NVIDIA and Intel(I don't know anything about AMD(Recommend me AMD and Radeon Alternatives too!)). Anyway, can anyone give me tips or recommend me other parts for my first PC? My budget is 1000 dollars at most. Also i will use my PC for not gaming but editing and lightweight 3d modeling. I also want 4-5 tbs of storage but you can alter that if you want. Finally, I want my PC to be white outside and black inside with a single AIO NZXT that looks white Thank you guys for giving your opinions so here is the pc I made so far: CPU : i5-13600K(or i7-13700K) Cooler: NZXT Kraken X63 98.17 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler Motherboard: MSI MAG B760M MORTAR WIFI Micro ATX LGA1700 Motherboard RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-5600 CL36 Memory Storage: Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive Samsung 870 Evo 2 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive GPU: Asus TUF GAMING OC Case: Deepcool MACUBE 110 MicroATX Mini Tower Case PSU: Corsair RM850 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply (This is a lot above the budget can anyone help me?) Thank You!!! I also want to say that I'm looking for high ram 32 gb of ddr5 if possible. I don't need a really buff gpu. I'll settle for the 1660 nvidia Finally I prefer Mirco atx please!

Hello, im new here. Preamble: I have recently purchased a new pc and I have been building it over the course of the last couple of months and I am very much stuck when it comes to which power cables I need to use where. I have looked at the PSU manual and the mono manual, and I have googled persistantly to seemingly no avail so I have come here as I am told this is the be-all-and-end-all of pc building help. Problems: I have two issues (parts list at end). Firstly when connecting my PSU to my Motherboard I have a 20+4 pin connector on my mobo which fits one end of the PSU cable but on the other end of that cable I have a 24+4 pin connection and I have no idea what to do with the extra 4 pins. There is an extra 4 pin socket on the PSU which is labelled motherboard but idk if that is needed for my mobo as I can't find any info online and I am worried that if I plug in that cable and power the system on it will burn out my motherboard as there is too much power. Secondly my mobo has two sockets for the CPU power, one 8 pin (labled EATX12V_1 in manual) and one 4 pin (tabled EATX12V_2 in manual). I have connected them up using two 8pin to 4+4pin cables. both of the 8 pin ends are in the PSU and I have plugged one whole 4+4 pin cable into the 8pin on the mobo and for the 4pin socket I have plugged in half of the other 4+4 and left the extra 4 pin on the cable dangling. Is this correct? I have no cable on my psu that goes into only a 4 pin connection so I assumed that this was the only choice I had. I have read online that the sole 4 pin CPU power connection is not necessary but I don't know if the information that I read relates to my exact setup. PC Specs: CPU: Ryzen 7 5800x MOBO: ASUS ROG Strix b550-a gaming PSU: Silverstone ST85F-GS 850w V2.0 RAM: Kingston Hyper-x Predator 3600mhz 2x8gb GPU: GTX 980 (waiting to upgrade to 3080 at some pint in the future) Case: Thermatake S300 TG Snow Edition Any help would be greatly appreciated. If I am in the wrong place please could you tell me where might be more appropriate?

System Specs: Ryzen 5 3600XT Sabrent Rocket 500gb M.2 16gb Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 MSI MPG B550 Gaming Edge Wifi Gigabyte 2060 OC 6gb Be Quiet Power 9 600w Issue: When I try to boot windows for the 1st time, (from a usb I made with the media creation tool), I get as far as entering the initial options, i.e. windows 10 home 64 bit, language, I'm not using a licence key currently. It copies over the files and then restarts. I get to the splash screen with the white dotted wheel and it freezes here. Tried a few options to fix it, the repeats seem to be filling up the drive as the free space drops each time I retry, (repeats being stored in windows.old). I reformatted the partition to clear it, but for some reason I'm missing 0.2gb in the partition. Total space is 468.2 Free space is 468.0. Not sure if this how it should be as I thought anything system related is stored in a separate partition? I then started getting a new error when I get to the part where I select the partition to install to, even though there is 468gb free space it says there isn't enough space to install windows "Setup was unable to use the existing partition because it does not contain the required free space". HELP!......

Hey everyone! Thanks for checking out my topic. I'm a new Pc builder and looking for advice. I'm interested in building a R1700/ 1080ti build with a 27"-32" ips 144hz 1440p display. I used to game(xbox one) on a 50" samsung tv and I thought that was amazing. I got into a rough patch and sold it all but now I want to get a new setup and feel that amazement again. Is there a time of year, specific to the PC community that I should look out for. I know about steam sales on the gaming side but besides major holidays is there a time or place that these items would go on sale.

Greetings Amazing Peeps, This actually the 1st time ever I am writing a thread on any kind of forum so please be kind to this noob. I am trying to build my own wall mounted PC however it's actually also the 1st time I am ever building a pc myself. I wanted it to be budgeted but still give me some freedom to upgrade in the future. I was wondering if it was worth pairing an i3 6100 with Z170-A motherboard for now and upgrade in the future (in like 2years) which can help with OC or should I really not worry about it and go for a cheaper motherboard for the build? I do not plan to play any huge games , mostly E-Sports like CS:GO , LoL and others of the type. I do wish to get decent performance on games like Battlefield 1 tho (medium-high settings @ 60 fps). Like I said I am a complete beginner so please forgive me if I am a little slow. Intel Core i3-6100 skylake Asus Z170-A ATX LGA1151 Motherboard EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti SSC GAMING ACX 3.0, Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GBDDR4 DRAM 2666MHz Seagate 1TB Desktop HDD - EVGA 500 W1, 80+ WHITE 500W Power Supply - LG Electronics Internal Super Multi Drive Optical Drives GH24NSC0B - Liquid CPU Cooler H60 - Totals at : $575

I Am an archhitecture student and I will be using this build for 3D Modeling and Scene Rendering. By the way before I get obliterated for my parts list I wanted to say 1.) This is my first build in of which I feel as though the case is way to small for a first time builder to cram this into! 2.) My rendering is actually NOT GPU BASED!!! In fact my built in rendering software is CPU based and they just started to implement RTx and Cuda rendering. (Vray) So please dont say my stuff doesnt match up blah blah blah. 3.) Yaaaaa I know its blinged out in RGB stuff but hey When i go back to school its gonna be an all white and black build to match my whole set up and I didnt mind sliding some extra benjies for some pop! thanks guys love you all Amd 9 3900x Dark Rock Pro 4 MSI 2060 Super Gigabyte X570 Gaming X 64 Gb Corsair Vengeance Pro Ram (White) 6x Corsair LL Series Fans Uphere Gpu Bracket Support Samsung 970 Evo 500Gb 2Tb WD Blue HDD EVGA 850W PSU Phanteks Neon RGB Strips Lian Li Strimer Plus Cables Corsair 220T Tempered Glass

Budget (including currency): £800-£1000 Country: UK Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: COD Warzone, WOW - Shadowlands, PUG + Future Titles Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hi, Im building my 2nd PC and I am liking the look of the AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT for my GPU. This would cover high graphics settings in game and future proof me for a while. The question then is what RAM and CPU should I look at? 8/16g RAM? what CPU (if it even matters or can I escape with a lower end Ryzen 3 chip for example). I am keen to put the time in to tweak but i dont want to buy the wrong products for the build.
