Hi! The question is,should i buy arma 3 ? I like military simulation games,and i have played the game Squad.Which were perfet,i played it when it was free for weekend,and now i see it is sale on arma 3.The difference is squad is 45e and arma is 7e now,i m teen and i m spending my monely wisely lol.I m worried about that i will buy arma and it wont be that i like,i like the(like in squad) you join the server,pick the guy and get deployed on map.I like that 50vs50 for example,i want to play pvp.And arma have a lot of more vehicles and other.And i saw that people coment,that arma is boring if u dont play with friends,or if u arent in any clan/group.and that everyone is playing some scenarios and like that.So is there any similarity like that 50v50,should i buy arma if i m this type of player? Hi, I am looking for a custom gaming server for a community of Arma 3 Mil-sim gamers, 150 of us. We are looking to buy and build our own server however we are looking around for suggestion for what would be the best option for us. Our budget is $10,000, Hosting and management will be taken care of. Requirements: Must be able to host 150-200 people at any one time. Must be able to host a minimum of 4 Arma 3 servers with upto 50 mods on each. Must have at least 1gbit connection Must have redundant power, networking and storage Must have both fast storage (at-least 1TB), backup storage, and 'cold' storage. at-least 64GB ram (faster is better when it comes to ARMA)

Hello All, So I've been wanting to start playing Arma 3. I plan on buying it pretty soon and it would be awesome of I could find a group of players that have a good understanding of the game and could help me out and I can grow with them. I want it to be a somewhat semi-realistic milsim type of group, I'm not sure how the mechanics work in the game; if you role up on other squads throughout the land and kill engage or stalk them, or if you can become friendly with them, do missions and take out targets (NPS), or just play plain war games in some servers. Introduction: The 37th Battalion is a military simulation unit on the PlayStation 4. We originated from Grand Theft Auto V under the name of “37th Infantry Battalion” and “15th Striker Brigade”. In the constant stages of the develop of our unit, we were always seeking a more realistic feel in the military simulation realm. We always kept an eye out for more military realistic games on the scale of Grand Theft Auto V, with no game really too much in sight; we’ve selected Battlefield 4. The ability to alter server settings, allows us to get close to military realism; at the same time allowing our divisions of aviation, armor, special forces, etc to remain open to our members. It’s safe to say, we are glad we have made the switch, and here to stay. With the announcement of Battlefield V, we are sure to see some familiar military units on the field. TCG's Realism Division has roots based around hard-core military simulation and relaxed fun. Our training and recruitment division works closely with our prior-military and civilian player base in order to more accurately target our audience of "serious-fun" members in the ArmA III community. Our unit consists of two detachment forces from the United States Army. Our primary force, the 75th Ranger Regiment, deploys two rifle squads, a platoon headquarters, and company headquarters headed by the company commander. Men enlisted with the 75th can expect to experience a more direct combat role by attacking the objective and securing landing zones. Our secondary unit, the 1st Cavalry, consists of several specialized roles ranging from piloting to tank gunning. Men enlisted with the Cavalry will be aiding the 75th by using mechanized, fixed/rotary, or artillery logistics. We run two main OPS a week(Sunday and Wednesday 2100 EST), various Mini-OPs, and also have a public Invade and Annex server. Greetings! I'm a rotary wing aviator in the 160th SOAR detachment of the 75th Ranger Regiment Realism Unit. We're searching for dedicated and capable helicopter pilots to join our ranks, as well as infantrymen. We have a training program (RASP) for all interested applicants, whether they are new or experienced with the game. We perform operations and mission every Sunday afternoon/evening at 1600EST/2100GMT, based on real Ranger and Nighstalker tactics, using authentic equipment and weapons in small-scale combined arms missions. Our rotary wing detachment, the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR) utilizes the authentic SOAR airframes, such as the MH-60M Black Hawks, MELB MH-6 and AH-6 Little Birds. The fixed-wing equivalent, the 451st Air Expeditionary Wing (AEW) utilized A-10C Thunderbolt IIs, C-130J Hercules and F-16C Fighting Falcon. All of our servers are limited to first person, without crosshairs, using enhanced realism addons like ACE, TFAR and dozens of handpicked mods to better the immersion and authenticity of our mission experience. Our servers run on a dedicated server box with performance enhancing measures like multiple headless clients and optimized missions. We have a non-profit license TeamSpeak server with 512 slots and constant uptime.
