Hello everybody, I've recently cleaned my Meshify C and I noticed some stains on the top filter. Some stains were there already some time ago but I've never touched it, and recently it has sorta increased (the number of stains). Can't seem to know the cause. Here is a photo of the problem:

Hey everyone. In the last few weeks I noticed that while playing demanding games my RTX 2080 TI nearly immediately reaches a temperature of around 85C°. Then every few minutes the temperature will go up to 86C° and some form of emergency cooling kicks in which makes its fans spin with a lot more than 100% speed. I noticed that when I remove the glass panel of my case (Fractal Design Meshify C) my graphics card will never reach such temps and even under load it will be 10-15C° cooler than before (I made some benchmarks with 3DMark), meaning most of the time the temps will be around 70C°. My CPU temps are mostly fine. So with this information gathered, I think there's something wrong with my airflow and I would like to improve it. This is my current setup: https://imgur.com/a/8bhLx6Z I have 2x 140mm intake fans in the front, and 2x 120mm exhaust fans in the top left. There are two additional fan locations in the top and bottom right. Would it make a difference if I put additional intake fans in said locations or is there anything else I can do to prevent my graphics card from frying itself? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance! :)

HI all, Help a noob time... First time home PC build with about 1500-2000 euros budget. Ive been researching for a long time, reading up where I can, hunting around for best deals, watching as many how to's and I've trawled through LTTs extensive back catalogue for anything pertinent to my quest. As this build has come to fruition, I really wanted to wait for the stock of 5000 series Ryzens and the RTX3060TI but maybe someone could help me. I want it to be upgradable if I decide to up my GPU game in the future! I do already have the Meshify C case as I loved it on first viewing!... Current worstation: (since my imac died and I refuse to buy mac ever again!) * Medion Erazer i7-6500 2.50ghz * GeForce GTX 950M * 16GB RAM (not sure on speed at the mo) * 1TB Crucial SSD I already have an IPS 60hz 1080 21" monitor (But I will also add to this for a dual monitor set up with a 27" IPS 144hz QHD), graphics tablet, external USB hub, External Scarlet USB soundcard for my mini studio plus a sufficient keyboard/mouse combo so no worries there. Whilst the above machine has been my workhorse for the last 3 years, I am starting to find floors when I have mulitple graphic applications open of course and my gaming experience could be improved vastly! Also. Living in a very hot part of Spain, this laptop form factor runs hot in the summer so how much cooling will I be expected to provide for my build? conidering I shouldnt be loading the system and NOT looking at overclocking (yet?) Use: * Professional Graphic designer/Photographer using full Adobe CC suite inc. some video/music production * Blender beginner but looking to be enthusiast level * Casual Gamer - nothing too reliant on FPS but Id like to game in 1440 and maybe VR Current Wish List: (this is the help I'll need from all your extensive knowledge) Case: Meshify C (owned) + will probably swap out case fans for BeQuite 140mms? MoBo: looking at either X570 Aorus Elite or TUF Gaming X570 (Wifi not required) CPU: I am excited by the new AMD 5000 series but thinking I could probably start lower down the ladder, especially as can't get hold of them!? Looking at either Ryzen 7 3800XT or 9 3900XT CPU cooling: Not keen on AIO reviews so looking at either Dark Rock Pro 4 or Noctua NH-D15(s?) Ram: 32gb to start, with view to double. Looking at Trident Neo 3600 C16 or Trident 3200 C16 (not sure if the mobo/cpu choices can support?) Storage: I'm happy with this aspect as I do already run a laptop and have recently upgraded my SSD, I also have sufficient external archiving. For this builld I'm looking 970EVO 500gb M.2 for the operatin system and design programs to run from + a 1tb 870QVO SSD sata storage (possibly adding to this in future) GPU: This is where I'm really in the dark and need your help. I love the idea of Nvidia 3000 series, especially the more affordable 3060TI but maybe something less is more than sufficient? Or maybe I should look at professional GPUs like the Quadro series? But those prices scare me and force my budget to balloon way too much! *EDIT* PSU: I'm thinking in 750w and have been looking at Corsair and Be Quiet gold standard modular models...does this sound about right? Any help. opinions, pointers or advice would be grately received and I hope I've made my intentions clear enough for what I need. Maybe in the next 12/24 months I'll be looking at upgrading some parts too. TIA

Hello LinusTechTips, I am building my first PC this month and need some advice regarding fan set up on a Fractal Design Meshify C case. The main components of my build will consist of a i7-8700K, an ASUS ROG Maximus X Code motherboard, and a EVGA GTX 1080Ti SC2. I will be cooling my i7-8700K with a Noctua NH-D15 and would like to know if two Corsair LL140mm fans (front intakes) and one Corsair LL120mm fan (rear exhaust) will be sufficient to keep my components nice and cool with good temps. Another set up I have in mind is three LL120mm fans in the front, two on top, and one on the rear. However, I have been told that having a beefy CPU air cooler eliminates the necessity of having fans at the top of your case. I would appreciate some clarification and input from you guys on whether the information regarding the air cooler is valid or not; as well as your opinions on what fan set up is best for my components and this case. Thank you! - Sageboy

Hi so I've started buying the parts for my first PC. But I don't know what exactly to look for when checking if my GPU and AIO can fit together. I pulled up the specs on them but bit confused with so many numbers being thrown at me. Never done anything like this before so I'd appreciate some help. My build is a Ryzen CPU one. EDIT: my friend recommended that I put the rad in front to intake with case fans on the top and back as intake and exhaust respectively. So I wasn't sure if my GPU length would cause issues. The meshify C says - Max 315mm with front fan mounted And the EVGA 1080ti is 300mm so I knew it'd fit. But since im gonna mount a radiator + fans up front I dunno if they will fit. In which case I'll either have to check out the corsair h115i pro or just go with an air cooling Noctua 14s

Hey Guys, I am browsing around the forums for the past few hours. Asked for some advice myself, and wondered why a lot of people recommend the Meshify C. To me it looks like a nice case but nothing special. Can someone please explain what it is with this case that makes it this popular? Thanks, Yanick

Hey! First post here Im looking at upgrading my 6yr old pc and I haven't paid too much attention to case designs up until recently. Fell in love with the H510 Elite design but reading about how the GPU or CPU suffer. My plan is to get the X63 cooler and front mount. Does anyone who already owns this case have any regrets? The alternative im looking at is the Meshify C, my goal is to get a white/black theme going Any advice would be awesome! Thanks!

So, my laptop just broke so I have to hurry up my first custom build and I would need your help in doing this. I will use the build 90% for work (3D-work, Photoshop, multiple monitors) but occasionally for some gaming as well as video editing. I already own the following parts: - Case: Meshify C TG - Mother Board: Asrock x399 Taichi - CPU: Ryzen Threadripper 1950x - SSD: Samsung 1TB 960 EVO M.2 NVMe SSD What I need help with choosing is: - RAM: My aim long term is at 128GB. However, since my laptop broke quite sudden, I can not afford 128 straight away at the moment. What 32GB setup should I get now, so that I easily can upgrade to 128GB later down the road with just buying more of the same sticks? 1, 2, 4 sticks? Also, what speeds should I aim for? Memory QVL here: https://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/X399 Taichi/index.asp#Memory - GPU: I just read that AMD will release their AMD Radeon Pro WX 8200 (retail price at ~$1000) which looks kind of sweet. Should I wait for this one or just go for a random 1080TI GPU around the same price? - CPU cooler: Read lots of mixed reviews about the NZXT Kraken regarding the quality. Any other options? Thanks a billion in advance for all the help I can get!

Hi all! I am gonna build my first computer and I need some help. I already have the Meshify C case (not mini), and a Ryzen Threadripper 1950x and the x399 Taichi motherboard. Now I need help selecting aio cooling + a GTX 1080 ti video card. As I understand, there is not much room for both the radiator and a video card that is long. Any suggestions? Budget is quite flexible and I don't mind paying a premium to get good results. Thanks in advance!

So I am Almost Done with my Build and Super Close to Getting the Last Bit of Money to Get my Final Components. So here is my Plan. A Couple Things will be stated after the fact. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/FbgwzY So A few Things 1. I already have the B350 F Gaming Board, the Cryorig H5 Ultimate, the Corsair RM 650x, the Storage, the RX 480 8gb, and Windows 10. 2. I want to Invest in the First Gen Ryzen because I don't see much justification for paying 50 Dollars more for the Ryzen 5 2600, plus I would need to borrow a CPU so I can Update the Bios. 3. I Bought the RX 480 8gb Used off of Craigslist 4. I also Plan on Buying some Cablemod Cable Extensions So what are your thoughts? Anything I can do To improve the Setup a Bit? I plan on Overclocking the CPU and GPU.

Hey guys, First - thanks for your help in advance. Second - Sorry if this is addressed in one of Linus' videos or on the forms somewhere else, but I figured this is specific enough to my build that asking would be my best options. Here's the situation: My new build will be in a Fractal Design Meshify C. It's not the roomiest of mid-towers, but it checks all of my boxes. I'm planning on using a Kraken x62 rev 2 to cool my CPU. I've purchased an Asus - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB STRIX GAMING Video Card - which is one of the longer cards. Because of the limited room in the Meshify C and the length of the GPU - I have to mount my RAD at the top. I know this isn't ideal, but it's literally the only option with the components I have. Here is my question: Intake or Exhaust for the RAD at the top? From browsing the web - there are lot of contradictory statements. I know that, with a open face GPU, top mounted radiators in exhaust isn't the most effective for cooling the CPU (Kyle from bitwit did a youtube video testing scenarios) since you're essentially using warm air to cool the fins - but is that my only option? If so, would you recommend you 1 or 2 fans upfront for intake? That would leave the two on the rad for exhaust and 1 in the back. Thanks again for your help/suggestions. Here is a link to my entire build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/FjfcZ8 As a side note - I will leave both the CPU and GPU at their base speeds. I won't overclock until I'm ready to do a full liquid loops for the GPU and CPU, at which point I can put a 360 RAD in front for intake. That's a bit down the road though.

I was thinking about upgrading from my cryrig H7 to an AiO,but im not sure if it will fit. I have trident z memory so im pretty sure i can't top-mount it,but my GPU is 280 in leanght so i was wondering if it would fit in the front?
