Hi guys, so i'm quite curious if newegg provides warranty. Return Policies* Return for refund within: 30 days Returns are subject to restocking fees and return shipping fees. Please click here to learn more about restocking fees and return shipping fees. This item is covered by Newegg.com's International Order Return Policy. *Subject to applicable law It says this only, but does it provide the manufacturer's warranty other than their 30days one? And, what about amazon?

When I was building my PC I had an AMAZING idea: Put the stickers on the power supply. Now I want to remove them, but I don't know how because I want to put them on somewhere else (I don't want to destroy them). What should I use? A kitchen knife glowing at 1000°C??? Orange juice? Coca-Cola? HELP!

Let's pretend that we find a group of 5 AMD motherboards that have very similar specs and similar price, the only difference being the brand/manufacturer. Which one would you guys consider to be the overall best for AMD boards; ASUS, MSI, GIGABYTE, ASROCK, or BIOSTAR. These are the main 5 brands I have seen a lot. Again, let's assume that they all have pretty much the same specs, with exceptions to whether or not a company has a standard significant difference. I have tried MSI and it turned out ok. GIGABYTE, I have had problems with overclocking. Currently, I use ASUS and I love the ASUS brand now (ASUS M5A97 R.0 Mobo). I have been all over the web, but could not find a solid answer, so due to this community's amazing reputation, I came here to hear what you all think. So, it comes down to these points of what the brand is known for: Overclocking ease Build Quality BIOS interface Warranty Customer Support Overall goal and view of the company / the target audience Not asking about any specific motherboard model, just the brand's reputation. You guys can add more points if you know something significant that I haven't thought of. Of course, I am asking this before I rebuild my PC when the AMD Zen processor releases. On a side note, I have learned about upgrading and future proofing over my years of building PCs. So with this new build, I am looking for a motherboard that has the minimum. I don't want support for 64 Gb of RAM, I don't need multiple PCIe slots (I would rather buy one great GPU than Crossfire/SLI two good ones). You guys get the picture. I don't want to future proof the mobo, because by the time I get the money to add to my 'future proofed' PC, a new CPU socket and RAM type releases that makes me have to start a new. Why spend $300 on a motherboard that I will replace in 3 years and never take full advantage of? Again, this is from experience. Thanks for any help, you guys are always amazing when it comes to this specific information.

I have this EVGA 970 SC ACX 2.0 and I have an option to buy this MSI 970 Gaming 4G. I read that the MSI has a custom PCB so I'm wondering if I at all can SLI these two cards?

Now I've been using this mouse: This was one of those cheap, but very reliable and comfortable mice. Now ofc you can see that's been scuffed quite a bit which is why I've been looking for a replacement. Now when I looked up online I found these: Even Amazon has it: https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Full-Size-Ergonomic-Wireless-Scrolling/dp/B078HFRNSP/ref=sr_1_65_sspa?keywords=large+silent+mouse&qid=1550787050&s=gateway&sr=8-65-spons&psc=1 As you can see they are all the same mouse just rebranded by different companies. So I wanted to know who is the original manufacturer Cause I really wanted one without any branding whatsoever, like the one I have now. Any help is appreciated

Hi i am in a procces of long time comming PC upgrading i got C2D E8400, geforce 750 ti (before gtx 460 gibabyte <= it burn; before that EVGA 8800GTX artifacts after 5 years of use) with 4gb of 800mHz ram... :D I can run game titles to around 2013. So i got like 60 games that i can easly play to catch up on my entertainment... thats why i am looking for PC that can Run 2019 titles with 1080 ultra details + 2020 titles high details. I have to add that i am from Poland and we like the rest of the world have to pay big "customs" fee (if i am translating that word correctly). So most components are +15% to +33%(gpu's) more expensive then in US. So it not that easy to just add XX bucks and have something better. After long time i chose Ryzen 5 2600 -148$ Asus Prime a320m-k (i do not overclock and i can live with only 2 ram slots and i like sata port position on this motherboard) -56$ Ballistix Ballistix Sport LT, DDR4, 2x4 GB,2666MHz -45$ and XFX radeon rx580 Black OC+ 8gb version at really low price - 210$ That is very fishy becouse Aorus cost 230$, Saphire Nitro+ cost 242$ (but that card is very big amd have wierd PSU connection 8pin+6pin) and MSI armor cost 249$. Of course i exchange the currencies for your convenience. My question is: what is wrong with XFX? Did they screw that model... are theirs fan way louder then the competition or does their GPU have short lifespan.... I had in the past only Nvidia card (always gibabyte and EVGA) i am used to gpu life to be around 4-5. Can i expect the same from from XFX. Any one from you guys got this gpu and can share your expirance with me. Do i need to add 39$ and buy MSI? To put things in perspective :D i earn 31,25$ a day.

Hi Guys, I'm planning to build a desktop, but I'm not sure which gpu manufacturer i should buy from, either AMD or Nvidia. Can someone give me some suggestions which i should get to get the most performance within a low budget. If you have a idea of which GPU that suits me, please tell me the name and manufacturer of the GPU. Thanks!! If you can, can you give me some websites to their benchmarks? What is your most and least favourite PC component brand and why? Most Favorite: Reason: Least Favorite: Reason: I'll start with my opinions! Most Favorite: Corsair Reason: I love their design language of everything they do. Classy enough but a little 'gamery' where it needs to be. Good quality products too, never had a bad thing from them. Least Favorite: MSi Reason: Pretty much the opposite of Corsair. Their red dragon aesthetic made me cringe, a lot of their products are 'gamer' to the extreme, and the one MSi item I ever had failed on me (GPU). Also very recently it appears they can't control their subsidiary companies too well who were actively scalping their own cards. Only thing I like about them is Afterburner Let's see how this goes!

Summary The Network fo the Defense of Digital Rights in Mexico (R3D) warns the public that a law has been aproved that would have consequences spanning internet censorship and even reduced freedom of speech online (something worse than the U.S Net Neutrality Act). This law also means that users will not be ale to repair or modify their electronic devices unless they take them direcly to the manufacturer. Small repair shops will be illegal or prone to high fees; only the big manufacturers will be allowed to continue repairs. And if any device has a software lock, for example the 2018 MacBook Pro, it will be illegal to bypass it, and it will require you to go only to apple. This also means that online censorship is getting to dangerous levels, before as it is pointed out in the article below, there have been entire online publication / newspapers taken down for governmental purposes , to cover up corruption, with the excuse of it infringes copyright law even though they were entirely original contetnt. Before government censorship was present but this law will give them the tools to take down any website or article without needing to provide any explanation at all. Quotes My thoughts Saldy to a tech head like myself this means that my small business involving computer building, computer repair, and computer upgradesh shop may now be illegal to maintain. Suddendly most computer markets that offer small phone repair services may go out of business due to this law. Man Louis Rossman would me mad right now. Mexico has just lost an important battle when it comes to right to repair... So I've been searching for a RGB water block I can mount onto a GTX 1080 from the Nvidia-Store in the Founders Edition. When looking at the EK Waterblocks Webpage and accessing their custom loop configurator, I had to enter my graphics card model. But when I enter "GTX 1080 Founders Edition", it shows me like 20 different founders editions from various manufacturers. Which edition am I using when buying from the official Nvidia store?

Hi Everyone, I picked up my Asus Prime Z370-A today but there's just something I can't seem to figure out. I know how to figure out what's "Fairchild" based on the forum post on Overclock.net but what about the other manufacturers? Do you guys know how you're able to tell who made your VRMs i.e. Vishay, On Semi? Image here: http://www.overclock.net/photopost/data/1673343/d/df/df50d7d4_z370lineup-WIP.png I'm trying to figure which variant I purchased. Any way to check? Thanks!

This is an elaborated topic, generically. The purpose is to gather knowledgen extensively. Who make the main components or the electrical parts on the PCB of GPUs (asking from Firepro/Quadro to HD 5450/Geforce210)? Like the Capacitors, IC, V-RAM, Controllers, RAMDAC, Bus e.t.c. Quality control is another concern too. Like Nvidia doesn't care 1000 or 900 like their high end Quadro series. Asking this because I recently judged two self-contradictory things(completely my opinion). Firstly, Strix of ASUS uses high quality stuffs while others like Sapphire or Zotac in GTX 950 probably didn't put parts that up to mark things which can resist anti forces up to some points. Though I am not sure about it at all. I have seen people are selling more Strix cards than Zotac, EVGA or MSI but somehow I realised that in this year ASUS dealt with it's RX 460 with good things but lagged in performance even to a year old 950. This is a sure thing to abhor. On the other hand, 950 really attracts many wallets because of P2P (price to performance). Vexing bafflement! I am not biased with either companies. Thinking about spending father's money in a more efficient way. The partners' cards can't be the best because nobody will buy for a long time then. 'Malfunctioning? Let's change.' Sorry for my poor wits. I want to know these things by our upcoming conversations.. (If my queries are not clear enough, please ask me)

I just pre-order an EVGA GTX 1080 FTW on Newegg and I've always been curious how common coil whine is. I guess you can say it's me being paranoid but I'm still wondering how it works and if there's ways to fix it. (research I've already done hasn't helped too much).

So I'm currently looking into getting a gaming headset and I'm not really sure what manufacturer would be best. I've been eyeing Audio Technica and Sennheiser, but what are your favorites for headphones? I'm a big audiophile, so I'm trying to get the best, at a relatively cheap and not too bad price. Thanks, Jettster

I am currently building a new PC I have so far a thermaltake Chasar A71 case and an EVGA G1-750w PSU, I'm certain I want a i7 6700k, and about 16GB ram to start ( looking at trident Z series 2x8gb 3000) and starting with onboard video (dell 1080p monitor) until I scrape together for either a single 970 (with possibility to SLI later, and new monitor) and torn between M.2 boot (would love a samsung 950 pro if I could swing it, but I hear M.2 is glitchy), or Samsug 950 Sata SSD. I am completely lost in reading the plethora of mixed reviews on newegg... some good, some bad.. but I want your honest opinions looking in the $150-200 range with at least 1 M.2 slot (available), front facing Sata ports (dont want vid cards hitting possible cables), wifi would be nice, but not necessary (have add in card), 4DDR4 slots, SLI capable, and a decent UEFI that's easy to work with, not looking to OC the snot out of it, but a modest overclock to 4.5ghtz on air would be nice. was looking at the ASUS Z175, Gigabyte GA-Z170x-UD5, or MSI Z170A Gaming M7.. any others I should seriously look at? I'm way out of this PC building stuff....lets put it this way, last system I built was in 1999 with a MSI KT333 ultra with am AMD 2000+ with 256MB ram.. been running with Dell desktops/laptops since that system died/lost usefulness in 2003...

So, I was looking on Ebay for an i5 2500k and a motherboard to go with it. For the motherboard, I came up with this. The motherboard seems good, but I've never heard of ECS as a motherboard manufacturer. Who are they and do they make quality products?

i am building a new pc and i have decided to go with the geforce gtx 750ti (please dont post comments about other gpus, i have gone thru various forums, asked various questions, and after much deliberation, i have decided this is the card for me.) anyways, between evga and zotac, which is the more reliable one for gpus? zotac is cheaper but i read somewhere that alot of people have had issues with their gpus. For this specific model, what would be the best manufacturer to go with. Also i am on a budget, and and the gigabyte windforce edition would be my absolute limit. so between those 3, zotac, gigabyte and ega, which is the best one to go with?

Hi, I'm new to the forums but am looking to build a pc. I am looking at getting the amd radeon r90 290 (not the 290x) from new egg. This is my first build so I don't want to spend a lot on a high end nvidia card but I also want good gaming performance. I am looking at buying the Asus version from newegg.com but there is also a sapphire brand version for the same price with an extra fan on it. Would one brand have better performance than the other or will they both output the exact same performance?

watching Linus's whole room water cooling video I saw that the GPU's are also included in the water cooling. so I wondered if the GPU manufacturer matters still if you're gonna end up doing some water cooling on the GPU? I guess I'm also just asking if the cooling the only difference between different GPU manufacturers of the same GPU model.

Hey guys, I'm shopping around for a good gfx card that I intend to last for a while so I've decided I'll go for the R9 290 (http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=193_1575&vk_sort=1). Now before the everyone says it, I'm from Australia so we don't get affected by the mining craze and the R9 290 is still $100 below the 780. Now because I'm in Aus, I'm looking for something that's reliable and with pretty good warranty support. At first I was looking at the XFX reference model but a couple of searches showed up that they don't have a branch here and the lifetime warranty doesn't apply. I'll be looking to watercool the card with a G10 but I'm curious to everybody's experience with these manufacturers.

I want to know which Graphic Card manufacturer is the best. Zotac - The cheapest. Galaxy - ? MSI - I don't like the way the design the heatsink and fan. ASUS - ATI and NVidia looks identical. We only have the above manufacturers in our area. :-(
