Hello there! I'm currently looking to get a new mouse. I currently use a g102, its a fantastic mouse for people on a budget, I got mine for about 22 dollars. I've did some research and had come across the viper mini, its a very attractive deal because of its shape, size, build quality, weight and price (going for 25 dollars where I live). But the only thing scaring me away is the sensor... I've seen so many people complain about its lod issues. I've watched vids about the tape fix too, And I've got a few questions about that i. Does using the tape fix create any other issues? I've seen some people on reddit complain that the tape makes the tracking "less accurate" or something ii. Does any kind of tape work? I've only got red electrical tape available with me. And how precise does the placement need to be? (if you could show where the tape should go it would be fantastic!) iii. If you've been using this mouse for a long time, have you started facing any issues like wear out or any other problem that only shows up after a long time of use? Thanks in advance! I'm hoping this post can help other people make the decision thats right for them.

Hello everyone. This is my first time posting here. About 5 months ago I build a sweet med/high-end PC with the new RTX 3070. It worked great, and I experienced no graphical issues whatsoever. Eventually, we had a wall socket burst, and my PC and another PC in an adjacent room have been having Level Of Detail issues. My PC was not plugged into the corresponding wall socket, and so I As pictured in the videos attached below, you can clearly see shadows and ground debris render up and close to the character. It's especially bad with The Witcher 3 (I can get some video for the Witcher if needed). I've tried clean reinstalling windows and reinstalling drivers to no avail. I reseated my graphics card, nothing. My Voltages and Temps are in the normal range, and I've tried different outlets in the house. Please help me if you can, I don't know what to do Specs: Nvidia RTX 3070 Founders Edition 8GB VRAM PCI-E 4.0 Intel Core I7-10700k 3.8GhZ OZ 5.1GhZ MSI Z490 A-Pro Motherboard Thermalake 750+ Watt Power Supply Smart Pro RGB, Fully Modular Gold Certified T-Force Vulkan 16GB DDR4 3200mhz RAM Noctua NH D-15 Dual Fan Chromax Air Cooler 2 TB SSD M.2 (Samsung), 2 TB HDD (Seagate) Thermalake V200 Tempered Glass Mid-ATX Case I don't know if its an electrical problem, hardware problem, or just me. I hope anyone can help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OoM0iGskWKE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMN_335S3Fk

Hello, about 2-3 months ago I've been experiencing an issue where items and shadows are not properly loading in for my games. It's been slowly and progressively getting worse and worse, and I'm running at wits end. For those of you who came here to respond blatantly about how its a psychological issue, please leave now. Otherwise, allow me to go into detail. This is happening on ALL games, even games as simple as ROBLOX or CS:GO. Basically my LOD and shadows misload, and appear directly in front of the character. It's a big eyesore and makes many games unplayable, such as GTA 5, Witcher 3, AC Black Flag, Fallout 4, the list goes on. I have never once experienced these issues before, and I am very certain I would have noticed them if they were happening prior to noticing. A week ago I contacted NVIDIA support, and after swapping out my GPU with an older 1070 module, I can confidently say that it is not a GPU issue. I was told it might be a power supply problem, but before I replace it I want to be absolutely sure. Links to videos of issue will be attached below. Can't do much to fix quality of videos sadly. Will try to capture obvious issues. I am not looking for possible ways to fix it, unless you are absolutely certain. I am only wondering what hardware it would be linked to if it were to be a hardware problem. Trust me, I've tried almost everything. TL:DR - All games look blurry, with shadows and minor details appearing close to the character. It's an eyesore. I've seen some old threads talking about my issue, but solutions seem nowhere to be found. Basically, in some games shadows and foliage and random models will not load at a certain distance. I am aware of the fact that this is how games work however my issue is that it happens far worse for me than for my friends and older computers I have used. It gets to the point of ruining basically any bigger area games like battle royales and realistic shooters like Hell Let Loose or Enlisted. The shadows and trees/bushes are changing drastically when I aim at them or get closer to them. My friends all say it doesn't happen until much father distances but for me it happens at relatively closer distances and basically makes it impossible to focus because an enemy might be there or might not but the shadows getting removed/added when I aim and the trees/bushes changing quality like that is really making it hard to tell the differences and it distracts me. Also, sometimes I will see an enemy and shoot at them with my sniper only to realize they are behind a sandbag and that's why my shots aren't hitting them, so I can actually see people through certain things that I should not because the sandbags are not loading for me until I get wayyyy closer. I was legit trying to shoot a guy behind a sandbag not realizing he was behind anything, and my friend was spotting and was like "wtf are you shooting at there is nobody there you are shooting at a sandbag????" I was so confused so as I got closer the sandbag finally loaded in but if I walked back, it would disappear again even thought it was there the whole time for my friends. I understand in video games this is normal at far distances to help with performance as that is what an LOD is for, to change the quality of things the further away they are. But like I said it seems to happen at much closer distances for me for some reason. I thought it might be from my low VRAM on the GPU but even when it's not close to maxing out at all it still happens. Doesn't matter if I use max graphics and especially for render distance or if I use low graphics with all settings, switch the drive the game is on, change resolution, mess with NVIDIA Control Panel, change Windows Graphics settings (like turn Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling on/off), OC the GPU using Afterburner, tweak all the BIOS settings, make sure temps are good and below 80 degrees, etc. I could use some advice on if anyone here has found a possible answer/solution. Hello, Reently i built my pc that has a RTX 2060 I5 10400F and 16gb of ram and i know that the 2060 is not a top tier rtx on the market right now but it's not low end however once i played some games i noticed that all the games i tested so far ( GTA V, Beamng, Cities Skylines) no matter howhigh i crank the settings up i see shadows and LOD's popping out literaly 20 meters infront of me which is just funny for the hardware that i have. In GTA for example, i can see cars just appearing out of nowhere, trash antialiasing, shadows loading infront of me, road signs popping out of nowhere as well and all that with the settings on ultra, extremely frustraing. I will attach 2 videos from Beamng drive as an example with all the settings on ultra and just judge it yourself, is it a problem with my hardware? i think it's pretty good to handle AAA games and not only?

Hello, im looking for an mmo/rpg mouse with very low liftoff distance. i already own a corsair scimitar rgb and a naga hex v2 and also an naga chroma and all of these mouse either wont track on a cloth mouse pad (the laser sensor in the razer mouse) or have a very high liftoff distance like the scimitar rgb (around 2cds on cloth pads) so i need a mouse with side button and preferibly and optical sensor because laser mouse wont track on my cloth pad for some reason that also has a very low liftoff distance. Thnx for helping!

Hello, Around December last year, every game that I play has at least some LOD issues and some games have pop-in issues. For example, in BF4 and BF5, red barels, fences and sometimes even buildings dont load in until I get close enough. it's seriously distracting and I dont know how to solve the issue. I've tried different GPU's, Reinstalling windows, different OC's on both the GPU and CPU and i've tried loading my games on a different SSD to see if that was the issue. Temps look good on the CPU and GPU and other metrics such as memory usage look normal. Here are my specs: CPU: I7-6700k @ 4.5Ghz MOBO:MSI z170a gaming m5 GPU:EVGA GTX 1080ti SC2 Cooler: NZXT Kraken x62 PSU: Corsair RM550x SSD's: 525gb MX500 (Boot drive), 1tb Samsung 950 evo. The only hunch that I have is that maybe a bigger PSU could help. From other threads I've read, people have recommended swapping PSU. If anyone knows anything at all, that would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hello, I built a PC 2 months ago with an RTX 2070 and the following configuration : https://imgur.com/a/akirPEF I have noticed a problem with rendering of objects and textures in virtually every game. There is a lot of popping, and in-game objects regularly appear and/or disappear as I approach or distance myself from them. There are examples in the videos below : https://vimeo.com/user108164184/review/388835975/cbfd7153ae https://vimeo.com/user108164184/review/388835871/10ebf03f4c https://vimeo.com/user108164184/review/388835788/4b8e0ea306 https://vimeo.com/user108164184/review/388835713/a220d3b592 https://vimeo.com/user108164184/review/388835654/4d801ac5f9 I could upload a lot more examples if needed from various games (Crysis1,2 and 3, Batllefront, Battlefield 4), such as foliage appearing/disappearing, texture changes etc. I found a topic where the seemingly identical issue seems to be discussed in detail but no solution is offered : https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1118699-bad-texture-pop-intexture-rendering-of-shadows-foliage-and-close-objects/ I haven't overclocked anything, I've tried reinstalling windows and drivers but no solution so far. Any help would be hugely appreciated

I have for the last couple months been dealing with an issue that has baffled not only me but Nvidia as well and Microsoft. Every game I play has terrible graphics quality including textures, no ambient occlusion, jagged edges, washed out colors etc. I am not only having this issue with my PC but another PC I also use. 1st PC - Asus maximus ix formula. - asus 1080 Ti strix OC. - 32 GB corsair vengeance rgb. - evga supernova G3 750w. - i7 7700K. - Windows 10 Home. 2nd PC - Asus maximus vii formula. - x2 Titan X sli (original titans). - 16 GB ripjaw. - Corsair 1000w. - i7 4790K. - Windows 10 Home. Now the things I have tried so far (Seems to be everything) - Reinstalled windows 10 numerous times. - Reinstalled Nvidia drivers numerous times. - Uninstalled all drivers using DDU numerous times. - Ran all windows 10 command Prompt checks (using administrator). - Installed numerous (older) Nvidia drivers. - Removed GPU and tried (5) different GPU's (Same visual issue with all). - Ran numerous anti-virus programs (I have no viruses but thought I would check anyway). - Called Nvidia who in the end blamed Microsoft and told me to call them. - Called Microsoft who in the end blamed Nvidia and told me to call them. ( Who would have though, right?) - Tried a 3440x1440 ultra wide monitor, 1920x1080 monitor and a 4K monitor, (No dice). - My Windows account is in administrator as well. - Trouble shooted everyting in windows troubleshooter. - Both PC's have new SSD's put in after issue occurred. I have no clue what to do at this point. Games run just fine like always but the graphics are terrible, change them all to ultra and looks as if nothing changed? I have been told "You're GPU could be bad", "Your motherboard could be bad". Funny thing is that both PC's started doing that at the same time, different components. The only things I can remember doing is trying out a new monitor, Windows updates, swapping out SSD's. My main PC, When I first noticed this I pulled out the SSD and put it in my other PC that didn't have an SSD yet, (was still in the process of being shipped) Just to see that my other PC doesn't have this issue, I was wrong! It was now showing the same terrible graphics as my main PC. I thought maybe the SSD was bad so I bought 2 new SSD's and installed them in both PC's and the problem still exists. I am at a loss for words..... If anybody has ANY idea what in the hell could be going on here, It would be a blessing!

I decided to breed new life into my old (2007) Sansa Fuze V1 - I just found out about RockBox.. yes just now..sue me.. - It has a 30 pin connector on the bottom and so I thought, aside from RockBoxing it, to connect it to an external amp as I'm getting one for my laptop anyway. So I browse eBay and stumble upon: http://tinyurl.com/jcqswrr for 16 USD and http://tinyurl.com/gwcn9vg for 5.88 USD So my question is..does the listed specification as being 'compatible' with this or that device even matter? Are all 30 pin connectors the same or is there more I should pay attention to when shopping for something that will work with my device? Many thanks in advance.
