I have an NZXT Kraken X72 AIO installed on my NZXT H710 case. The cooler was working fine for about a year. But suddenly, I noticed that the CPU (Ryzen 9 3900x) temperature went up because the radiator fans (NZXT AER RGB 2) stopped spinning. So I opened the case and tried to troubleshoot the problem. The fans were connected to the 10 pin cable that came from the CPU block. I removed and reconnected them to the fan controller of the case. This time two of the fans worked and one didn't. I finally concluded that one of the fans were broken so I replaced it with another one. But if I connect them back to the cable that came from the CPU block, they don't work, just the RGB lights up. So I kept the connected to the controller. Today, I noticed the fans stopped spinning again. So I disconnected the 10 pin cable from the CPU block and reconnected it after reading a suggestion online. And it started working again. But I noticed that the "Kraken X Fan" is showing 0 RPM in the NZXT CAM software. I don't know which is this. I'm also worried that the fans might stop spinning again. Where could be problem be? Should change the whole AIO or is there any other alternative?

Hey all, So I recently got a NZXT kraken x73 360mm AIO and I had to do some questionable things to get it mount in a "correct formation" but it makes me a bit nervous. So question is can I top mount it in the crystal 570x ( with or with some mods) or can I front mount it with tubes going down? It definitely look possible but the only worry is then that the tubes may then not be long enough to reach. Please let me know, Thanks

Hey guys, I just finished up my new build and everything is working great other than my radiator fans (fans up top, see pic). For some reason, they don't seem to spin, even though it seems like they're getting power and making a dull clicking noise. The pump is working fine, just not the fans. Here's what I've done: - Confirmed SATA plugged in correctly - Confirmed pump is connected to USB 2.0 port - Confirmed pump is connected to CPU_FAN with correct orientation - Confirmed that splitter cables running from the three fans are intact and going into the pump All attempts to control fan speed via CAM software have turned up at a loss. The pump and my other two fans are working, just not these top ones. Any help?

Hello,I am thinking about going with either an NZXT Kraken X62 or X72 to cool my i7-9700K overclocked to 4.7GHz. Does anyone have any recommendations as to which one I should choose? Money is no issue here as I am simply wondering which would give me greater performance. I've seen reviews, such as one by GamersNexus, in which the X62 consistently did better than the X72. Could anyone explain why? I realise the X62 has two 140mm fans compared to the three 120mm fans on the X72, but surely three 120mm fans would perform better than two 140mm fans, even if only marginally? So Im buying a new pc this summer. The specs are not certain but as they sit right now this is what I have in mind: -Either Core i7-9700k or Core i9-9900k -Asus ROG Strix Geforce Rtx 2080 OC -2x8gb Kingston HyperX Predator 3000Mhz RAM - HX430C15PB3K2/16 (Temporary, going to replace it with 4x16gb Kingston HyperX Predator 3200Mhz RAM - HX432C16PB3AK4/64) -Asus ROG Strix Z390-F motherboard -Cooler Master 700W MasterWatt Lite 80 plus bronze - MPX-7001-ACABW -WD 5400rpm 4TB 3.5" HDD - WD40EZRZ -Samsung 970 EVO plus 250gb M.2 SSD -NZXT Kraken x72 360mm Liquid Cooling AIO Loop -Antec Dark Avenger Window RGB case - DA601 Now, with this pc Im gonna be doing lotsa stuff. Streaming, gaming, editing, rendering, programming etc. My first question is: Should I go for the i9 or the i7? Its primary purpose is going to be gaming and streaming, secondary coding, editing and rendering. This might change in the future, but not soon. Second question: Is the Kraken x72 a bit too overkill? Thing is, I live in Serbia, Europe. I cant really order things online since our president is kind of a douchebag. That said, the difference between an x72 and an x62 is over 50 bucks, so it would save me some coin if I were to go for the other one, but I really want my cpu nice and cool. Will an x62 cool the i9 even when its overclocked? Third question: Is this power supply okay? Ive googled it and nothing really came up on the official page so does anyone have it without any problems out there? I cant really tell coz the store Im buying it from doesnt have any reviews and I really want an expirienced person's say in all this. Fourth question: Are 1500rpm okay for the radiator? The nzxt radiators all come with black fans, which is okay but I really want my rig Rgb'd out. Maybe because Im still a kid who just cant get enough unicorn barf left and right but I wanna replace those 2000rpm fans with 1500rpm rgb ones. Now is this a safe move? Will my cpu still be cool even with 1500rpm fans on the radiator? Or should I stick with the ones I have and forget grow up? Final question: Is this case alright? Ive heard reviews talking about how amazing it is and then other reviews saying how its awful and cheap! Its almost incredible how opposing the reviews are on this thing, I havent really seen anything like it yet.. So please if anyone has this case, what is your opinion?

Hi guys, I just reformatted my Gaming PC and installed the new CAM update to dial in the fanspeed. I planned on doing the same as before: Setting up the fanspeed and RGB options, once its done uninstalling CAM. However, the fanspeed does not seem to save after closing CAM! I set it to a static 800rpm, ramping up to 1500 when running hot. But about 10 seconds after closing CAM, the fanspeed ramps up to a static ~1250rmp. This is really annoying since the additional noise is really noticeable. The old CAM version did not do this. I also reinstalled CAM completely, still behaving the same. Does anyone have the same problem and did you manage to fix it?

What is the best thermal paste for 9900K with Kraken X72 on top of it? (The original paste has been in use for over a year now)

Hi! I have NZXT's Keaken X72 AIO, and I hate the fact that I have to use a ram-eating bloatware to change my fans speed. Which set of coolers should I buy to have the same/better performance on my X72?

Asus CPU Fan Error Detected How to solve the error? Kraken X72 and ASUS Hero XI Hi friends, I get this error every time I turned on the computer The fan is running but the fan power cable is not plugged into the motherboard where the CPU fan is written. I plugged the pump in at the place AIO_ pump. Should I plug the fan power cord back to the CPU fan. Everytime I restarted the computer I get CPU Fan Error. How can I make the error go away? Kraken X72 , there's a trio of 4 pin PWM connectors for your fans and one 4 pin PWM connector for your pump installation of the waterblock the pump should be plugged into the AIO pump header the pump powered via SATA.

Hello everyone, this is my first post and I will try to present my problem as good as I can. My Specs: Intel i7 7700k @4,6/4,8 Ghz // 1,25/1,3V NZXT Kraken X72 Push/Pull 32Gb G.Skill RipJaws V @ 3200Mhz // 1,353V MSI Geforce Gtx 1060 Gaming X 6Gb Asus ROG Strix Z270E Gaming 500Gb SanDisk Extreme Pro 500Gb Samsung 850 Evo 256Gb Samsung 850 Evo 4Tb Seagate Barracuda 650 Watt be quiet! Dark Power Pro 11 Creative Soundblaster Z Corsair Crystal 570X Fans: 1x Corsair LL120 @ the back of the case 2x Corsair LL120 @ the top of the case 3x Corsair LL120 @ the front of the case, pushing air into the radiator 3x NZXT Aer P120 behind the radiator, pulling air out of the radiator The air is getting pulled from the front, through the radiator and the top and is getting exhausted out of the back. So my main problem is about thermals and how they interact with my fan speed. I can only run aida64 or prime95 @4,2Ghz all the time without a boost clock if I want the temps to stay lower than 80°C or if I want prime95 to work at all. I wanted to overclock my i7 to at least 4,8Ghz, but I'm getting temps of 100°C max on all cores after running aida64 for a few minutes. I can't even use prime95 because it always gives out that a Fatal Error has occured where a 0,4 was expected, but a 0,5 or someting came out. I just don't understand why. I tried paying around with the CPU voltage settings, but it didn't change anything. After I saw this high temps I decided to reduce the clockspeed to 4,6 Ghz at 1,25 Volts but the temps were still above 90°C max at all cores. A small improvent, but not enough. There's actually a pretty big difference between the temps shown by NZXT CAM and HWMonitor. I use both at the same time and the difference is more than 10°C sometimes. Could it be some sort of sensor problem? Now the strangest thing: It almost doesnt't matter at all at which fan speeds I run my system. When I stress tested my CPU with Aida64 at around 40% fan speed and at 100% fan speed, the results were more or less the same. I also ran a Cinebench R20 Benchmark and got a Singecore score of 489 and a Multicore score of 2419 with about 40% fan speed. But when I ran the same test with 100% fan speed both scores were a little bit worse instead of getting better. I don't get it. EDIT: I tried monitoring everything with AiSuite from Asus as well and the highest recorded cpu temps are about 73°C and there are no big spikes recorded as with HWMonitor or Aida64. Now I´m even more confused because the temperature difference between 2 programms is almost 15-20°C. Which is the real temperature now??? I´m just confused.

Hi guys, I bought a custom prebuilt PC (because I didn’t have the guts to do it myself) and ended up with a very nice system. It has an I7-8700K cooled by the new NZXT Kraken X72 which should be more than sufficient for the processor (overclocked to 4.7GHz). When I started aida64 to check the temps I got in the first 3 minutes spikes of 95°C. I was expecting way lower temps than that, do you guys know where should I start trying fix the problem? Also I payed 10 dollars extra for a good thermal paste to be applied. Thank you all. When I get back home I can post some screenshots.
