Hey guys,Does anyone know how to compress gif size(animated gif) without losing too much quality ??? I have seen ppl post 1080p 60fps gifs under 5mb.I don't want to use any websites to compress them...

So last night I was with a client who was having trouble with their MSI A68HI motherboard not recognizing the SATA HDD. The day before he went and bought a new board, since this one was used to replace it, and now gets to return it. The symptoms were: 1. Motherboard wouldn't recognize HDD. 2. Motherboard showed the HDD in click BIOS 4 top list of boot devices(which didn't make sense) 3. Motherboard took forever with the POST. How this problem can be fixed. So the cool thing that MSI has with thier Click BIOS is the ability to use M-FLASH, which enables you to reflash the BIOS straight from the BIOS. If your board does not have this feature, but you sense there is a problem with your motherboard, don't give up just yet... theres still a way to fix that BIOS. The way is with a bootable Flash drive with the BIOS update executable on the drive. When someone says they have a bootable flash drive, it means that it has a DOS OS on it, like FREEDOS in which I recommend using. Using a software like RUFUS 2.0 Portable allows you to simply make a bootable drive by putting the needed files on it to do so. then just drag and drop the BIOS file straight into the main directory on the drive. After you completed that, you just boot onto the flash drive, and when it is on the CLI, you enter "DIR" which shows all the folders on the main drive, and CD "folder name" allows you to forward into that folder. After that if you needed to, simply entering Call "Execution-able file name here.exe" will start the process, and just follow the directions they give to start the Flashing process. Its as simple as that. Doing the flash update for my clients BIOS allowed the fix they had for the newest BIOS on MSI's website to allow the HDD to be detected and allowed me to install windows in the end. Took about an hour to figure all of this out and install windows, but making the bootable drive, downloading the latest BIOS update, and flashing the motherboard should only take about 25min. Just another thing to try and save the trouble of an RMA or return because the board doesn't want to do it's best. Even though this may be in the wrong area, I just wanted to share my experience with my client from last night, where as we speak is enjoying the ability to play on his first custom built PC playing world of tanks at max settings lmk where I should post this if you want, or leave it here, it's fine either way to me.

So I'm looking to organize a large-r LAN party to raise money for Child's Play and my end goal is to get about 40-50 people at one event center. My problem is that I've never handled the logistics for anything to this scale before and if anyone has done so in the past, what are your pointers and recommendations? So I'm not expecting this post to get much if any traction but I thought it was worth asking. Do any of you know how to, or a place where I can learn how to jailbreak my new car stereo? I installed a new deck in my car so I can have fancy touchscreen/handsfree tech in my 9-year-old Pontiac Grand Prix (still worth it though) and learned from my brother that he has a friend who has jailbroken one before so that he was able to mirror his phone screen on the stereo. I mean like a full mirroring where you can go in and out of apps and all the fancy shit your normal phone already does. This is horribly unnecessary but also extremely tempting to do. The stereo is a Pioneer AVH-X2800BS. I don't know if the specific stereo matters or if all of the AVH codenames can be jailbroken the same way. So how do I do it? I haven't been able to get into contact with my brother's friend and see if I can get any info from him. I tried googling it but that yielded no useful results and venturing past the 2nd page of Google are pastures I'd rather not wander in. All I'm really asking for here is at most a forum or some kind of website dedicated to jailbreaking anything and everything so I at least have somewhere to begin to search for myself. Thanks, guys!

New Ryzen 7 build. Please help me make sense of what is going on with my system using SenseMI. I want to have the full capacity of the 500GB SSD for use with the OS and general use along with the first half of the 4TB SSHD for those applications and games that are huge. (C: 2.5TB SenseMI; D: 2TB - end result) I wish to have the benefits of how AMD SenseMI works - the speed of my SSD while it automatically moves data around between the SSD and SSHD depending on how often it's being used, etc. Attached are screenshots of my Disk Management and of This PC to show the drives being shown along with the mess in Disk Management. Did something go horribly wrong with my SenseMI setup? How can I achieve that I would like to do with this software and how can I fix this before going forward with adding my games, streaming software, etc.? I really wish there was a good How-To for using this software. Please help me understand all that is going on here and being shown. Could you please make a comprehensive tutorial on how to create a remote VPN connection to a home Local Area Network using the built in VPN that comes with Windows. Please include the benefits of having a secure encrypted connection to your person LAN, and how to overcome typical obstacles like your router/ISP firewall(s). Question I would like to know how do you choose hardware? By this I mean what do I look for specifically in each piece of hardware? It would also be nice if you could link any useful sources of information that teach/explain what each piece of hardware does and what's the most important thing to consider with that piece of hardware. Well this method can be used if you want to wash your pop filter from time to time or even replace with a new one if you get a snag or a rip.

Hi there, I am rather new to the whole world of PC building. I built my first PC in september 2013, but I have upgraded every single component except the case so it isn't even really the same build any more. The only water cooling experience I have at ALL is installing an h100i with an i7-4770k. My case is the NZXT phantom 820. Obviously, installing an h100i is far, far simpler than a custom water cooling loop. Even so, ever since I watched Linus' "Ultimate overkill PC build guide", I've always wanted to do my own custom water cooling setup. Right now I'm not looking to actually building the rig, as I am too young to have enough money to do it, but I want to learn as much as I can now so that when i can afford it, I am not starting from square one. Now I'll get to the point. Can anybody point me to some beginner's guides to a custom water cooling loop? It doesn't have to include everything for water cooling GPUs as well, just a CPU. When I make my first custom loop I will probably only be doing the CPU anyways, and then possibly GPUs later on once I am more experienced. I'd appreciate it a lot, and on the 1/1,000,000,000,000 Linus sees this post, maybe a video could be made some day as a beginners guide to water cooling from him. Thanks! - Zach
