Hogwarts legacy has a bug on many RTX systems (Well documented, common bug) on the PC port when certain common triggers are met. I personally found this bug after I have been soft locked by crashes) After reaching out for help, I was told todo the standard toubleshooting stuff (Verifying integrity, re-installing, updating drivers, yada yada) but after I had done all of that and nothing worked, they responded with this: multiple people over many months have experienced the same thing, and it is down right theft that they are selling a non-functional game with a bug that can only occur AFTER the steam return window has expired. (for everybody, the bug occurs around halfway through the story) I have attached two replications of the bug recorded for proof, and I'm hoping that if we take this issue public they will be forced to respond with a bug fix or at least refund the game to all people affected. Replication #1: Replication #2: please can we bring light to this issue and their reluctance to solve it for months, leaving paying customers unable to play the game.

Back-info: I recently upgraded from the I5 4460 to a R5 3600 and with it I also bought the Thermalright AX120. I let the motherboard, MSI B450-a Pro Max, do the overclocking on the CPU with the OC Genie 4 cause I'm a newbie when it comes to overclocking CPUs. (I have experience overclocking GPUs) It's running at 4.2Ghz. Ok so, since I had this new cooler, I wanted to test if would be able to cool the cpu while running Prime95. And to be fair it did pretty good (65c at ~80w), until the cpu shot up to 137w. I had HWINFO sensors running, but I didn't check it cause as soon as I saw the temperature and the watts up in heaven I stopped Prime95, so I can't tell the voltage it reached. However I had MSI Afterburned up, and it's where I saw what had happened (I was checking the PC and the fans and only noticed what was going on when I looked at the screen). Here's the "relevant" graphs from MSI Afterburner: So, can someone explain what happened? What BIOS settings should I change to keep this from happening again, but stay with a good clock speeds. I'll provide more info if needed.

I've been looking for a laptop for or under INR 55k to replace my ancient desktop, and I'm stuck choosing between two laptops. One is a ASUS TUF FX705DT (17") with a Ryzen 5 3550h and a gtx 1650 DDR6 4GB. The other (which I'm leaning towards) is the new Acer Aspire 7 (15") with a Core i5 9300h and the same gtx 1650. Both come with 8 gigs of RAM and a 512GB NVMe SSD. I was a bit confused with a few questions. From what I read the difference in games is ~5-7fps and I'm okay with that, as long as it can run AAA titles at medium-low or medium settings. Is the 3550h good enough for coding purposes and stuff like video editing? I mean Android Studio and the like. I'm mostly going to do stuff on medium-scale projects in android studio, and some work in premiere and aftereffects (1080p, no 4K here). But, _more importantly_, is the Aspire 7 good? By good, I mean thermals wise. I cannot find any good reviews or tear-downs, or even find out whether it has a 2.5" hdd bay for future expansion. If it were, and it did, I'd probably go for that, given that the core i5 9300h is slightly better than even the Ryzen 7 3750h. Plz halp.

I have just gotten a new 144 Hz monitor. It's the AOC AGON AG271QX 27" and I tried a few games like Titanfall 2 and Doom 2016 but both were caped at 60 fps. I set the refreshrate in the Nvidea control panel to 144 and so on but the games still cap at 60fps. What can I do to fix this?

I'm on Debian 8, and will not be changing that. I need brightness control, and have AMD hardware, with ASUS laptop. Okay, let me give a full loadout of my situation. Can anyone help? I mean of course someone can and will this is the LTT forum. Thanks in advance!

I simply love the Meshify C and would like to keep it if possible. Options 1. Mount it on top. Seems like a good idea but from reading across LTT and PCPP, the Trident Z has a high profile which will make it almost impossible. I already own the memory by the way. This is why switching to a low profile ram makes it harder. 2. Mount it on front. According to my calculations, the maximum size for the GPU is 284. (315 base + 25 base fan) - 26 (aer p fan) - 30 (radiator). The shortest 2080ti (not WC) is 267mm (ASUS DUAL) which leaves about 17mm (15 for EVGA) space between the GPU and the radiator (or fans, depends). How much space do you really need between the radiator and the GPU? will it affect performance? I have been reading about people removing the plastic web-like from the front panel, but I thought the plastic supposed to block dust coming into the fans. What do you think? Not sure there is a magic solution which is not replacing one of the parts, but I like them so much Thanks!
