Hello, I am Adam, and I am a PC Builder beginner. I Have just built a Gaming PC, but the monitor says no signal when I boot up. Specs: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 AsRock B550M-HDV Micro ATX Motherboard 16 GB Ram (2x8 GB sticks) ASUS Phoenix 1050ti EVGA W3 Series 450W 80 plus AMD CPU Cooler that came with the CPU 512 GB SSD (6gb/s) I have seen many videos on what to do, and here are some things I tried -Remove GPU, then reinstall -reconnect all power cords -change video cable -clean the ram sticks -read motherboard manual carefully -plugged in 4 pin CPU power -attached all power connecters -tried booting up with one ram stick I have been stuck on this problem for a long time, and I need help. I hope you see this post a couple of hours or 1-3 days after posting this. Thank you for visiting the post.

Hey! Just got my new pc, with an Geforce RTX 3070 TUF OC card, and i only now found out it needed 750 w. And i got 650 w. will there be a problem and if what so? got my pc 1 week ago today... plz help a noobie UPTATE! I have noe contacted the place where i bought my pc from, they have made an huge mistake on their part and sold 15 pc's with the wrong psu. so they will send me an 750 w for free! Again thanks for all the help

I've had my RTX 2080 (MSI Duke) edition since launch and it has always had this quirk of spinning the fans to 3500+rpms becoming very loud whenever the temperatures hit the mid 70s celsius (not any specific temperatures, just in that range) The card will follow a custom fan curve that I create in MSI Afterburner up until this temperature range and higher, then it completely ignores the fan curve and slams the fans to maximum speed The strange part is that the Fan speed % metric will read something random, yet the fan tachometer will be over 3500 rpm no matter what, this is tested by setting my fans to a static speed in MSI Afterburner and then launching a game which pushes the temperatures above the "threshold" and then the fans ramp up, though the Fan speed % stays at whatever I set it to I've reinstalled MSI afterburner, tried every combination of "auto" and "user defined" in Afterburner I've fully removed all video card drivers via DDU and did a fresh install of the latest nvidia drivers (461.09) This issue has been present since I've had the card This issue is not a matter of high temperatures, it is a matter of the fans ignoring any fan curve after it hits a certain (also quite reasonable) temperature Any help or advice on this would be great Scoured the internet and couldn't find any issues that were resolved that were the same as mine TIA

Bfloat 16 is a half precision floating point format that has the same 8-bit exponent as single precision, but only 7 (plus 1 implied) bits of significant. Surprisingly, this turns out to be adequate precision for many machine learning applications, so a lot of resources are being put into making arithmetic in this format run fast. Given that, it would seem to make sense to also try to use it for graphics. Using it for RGB components during calculation, for example, would allow a much wider dynamic range of light sources to be rendered, compared to just trying to calculate with 8-bit integers. At the same time, it could potentially be faster than using single precision floating point for RGB components. Are any existing graphics rendering systems actually using it for such purposes?

Hi! I just built my PC 2 days ago. Once nasty mistake I did is that I extremaly cheap out on GPU. I gone with Years old used 550 TI!!!. The reason behind this nasty mistake is: I use VideoScribe & Camtasia Studio as my main Applications for my Job. These both applications does not require GPU at all. Now Problem is: Once In a day I hear a sudden Fire cracker sound and display Gone!. System Kept running just display gets Blacked! Another twist is that After Fire Cracker sound restarting my PC gets everything to normal. When its happend first time I restarted and worked on my PC 7 hours consistently! My 6th sense is saying Its that fucking 10 years GPU who is blasting . Another dumb mistake i did is that I did not stress tested the GPU at the time of purchase . What to do you guys think? My local Friends are saying It could also be PSU Issue. I am trying to update the drivers for the igpu on my intel 4570. I have a gtx 1080 so i am getting video via that. When i try and update the igpu drivers i get a "this computer does not meet the minimum requirements to install this software error". So I try and go to device manager and update it there using the "find automatically" option there, but the adapter isn't showing up under display adapters

Hi guys. Im lost. I've just bought this graphics card as an upgrade yesterday. I installed it in my pc without any mayor problems and it worked fine without a crash. I installed the latest driver from the official website, and I even gamed on it, it was butter smooth. But this morning as i went to turn on my pc it turned on just ok but the screen didnt give any response. even after switching the HDMI slots and making sure it wasnt the monitors fault I still didnt make any process. The video is the (error?) sound my pc makes when I turn it on. what does it mean? and how do I resolve it? Any help is appriciated! Thanks. (also im writing from my old graphics card.) Hey All, I have recently been experiencing some really wacky things going on with my laptop, specifically the graphics. Specs: Hp Omen 15 2016 gaming laptop, intel i7-7700HQ 7th gen, GeForce 1050 - 2gb Vram, and 16gb ddr4 after market corsair ram. I have been noticing some problems In gaming performance for a while and dident really think much of it until yesterday when while i was running Destiny 2 my frame rate went from a nice 61 down to 25 then slowly worked it's way back up before tanking again. I decited to up date my drivers and all that then take a break. I came back to try to get it working properly. This time however when I came back the frame rate was fine but the graphics where horrendous. No matter when settings I put them on they stayed the same and I couldent tell where one enemy started and one ended. The problem fixed itself after some tinkering around and restarting but I want to know if anyone knows what is going on with that or could give me some insight to figure it out. I have checked that it is using my dedicated GPU and it is so that I'd not a problem. Another problem that is with my CPU. Now this may be normal for my laptop by I dont think it is. The problem is with heat. Using Speccy I watched as by launching and running destiny 2 for just a few minutes my CPU shot up to 95 degrees Celsius but my computer showed no signs of having thermal issues. The air coming out was hot but I dident have any heat on the keyboard or any heat caused performed issues. My GPU was not as worrying as it was sitting at around 75-80 degrees. Before you ask yes I do clean my fans I am not necessarily looking for imidient fixes but more of ideas or thought on the thermal and graphic issues. Thank you for your help! Hey, I am having graphical issues on MSFS 2020 I have a 3800x and a 2070 super. I am running the game at high graphics settings. My graphics are not looking so well. What can I do to fix this? Thanks

Hi guys, So i had this a couple times before: I turn on my computer and suddenly my GPU jumps to 90 degrees Celsius. While normally it runs on full throttle on like 60 degrees Celsius. Then if i turn of my computer and wait a day. I would just set back to normal. What the actual fuck? BTW my GPU is a 980 ti gigabyte xtreme waterforce. I tried to contact gigabyte several times but they are so freaking slow that i get response after a week when it works okay again and I would just let it go. (I have my GPU 3 years now and experienced this like 6 times on just random moments). My strange idea is that somehow the pump doesn't work anymore on these moments cause my fan is spinning as hard as it can cause it's on 90 degree so it's not the fan. It would really help if someone could help me cause i'm getting kinda sick of it. Especially cause I have to write an essay and my computer is unusable. Thanks in advance, Luuk

Sapphire AMD Radeon RX 480, 8GB GDDR5 or EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 SC, 6GB GDDR5 Im thinking of getting one of these for my new rig and i would appreciate all the help you can give

When swapping cards, the MB retention clip broke. The GTX 770 for some reason got snagged on it so my brother tried to push it back further to lift the GPU out, and it snapped. My brother has helped me remove the GPU in the past for cleaning with no such issue. The card works fine and no damage to the MB (aside from the retention clip). Anyone else done this before, or are we stupid lol?

Hey guys! I'm looking to upgrade from Intel Integrated Graphics and I'd like to only spend around $150-$200 CAD. I'd prefer the graphics card to be new and I'd like it to be able to run games like Skyrim at 1080p. Or is 1080p to much to ask of for this price-point? What are your suggestions? Thanks in advance!
