I just "upgraded" from my G930 wireless headset to the G935s. Did anyone else make the move and feel like it's not an upgrade at all? The volume is too low, the sound in stereo mode is pathetic and they were 200$. The only reason I changed is that my G930s disconnect every few minutes for 10 seconds or so and I can't stand it anymore. I would just think that jn the 10 years I've owned them they should sound a lot better, or at least have something better. I've watched a bunch of reviews and a bunch of suggestions and I found that upgrading from a model that I enjoy to the newer model should be a good move. Am I the only one that made this move and is disappointed? I also haven't found the option for the sound profile switching that automatically switches from stereo to surround mode. The stereo mode is laughable and would need a whole separate eq just for that as LTT does not sound right. Has anyone found a way to tune the eq to get more volume from them? Thanks for any help you guys have?

Hello! I have this problem where the sound is louder in right ear when I'm using stereo, the sound is even when I'm using 7.1. I have tried this: https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20120717181729AAdRa5o and this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-L33nrxyggU&t=46s. The one thing that I can't do is to enable Channel Phantoming, because I don't have enhancements tab in the properties. That's why probably the first link's help isn't working... Any other methods to fix my G930? I'm using Windows 10 64bit, newest version. Thank you!

Hello! My Logitech G930's 7.1 won't work. When I use the switch on the headset to switch to 7.1 it doesn't do anything. Also when I try to put the 7.1 on from the Logitech gaming software, the whole software crashes. I have tried to download older versions of the Logitech gaming software from Logitech's website, but it won't let me to change the bit version... I can only download the 32 bit and when I try to start installing it Windows says that the software isn't compatible with the version of Windows. (I'm using Windows 10 64 bit newest version ). I can only download the newest version: 8.94.100, 64 bit, but 7.1 won't work with it. Thank you!

I brought this headset not that long ago and worked fine up until recently. When I put it on charge the red light will come on but it doesn't go green and i left it on charge all night, but when i turned it on it flashed then turned back off. It just keeps on doing this and i don't know how to fix this.

I have a pair of Logitech G930s and in the Windows sound menu, it has 7.1 surround (I'm assuming this is the issue) which is true, as the G930s have "7.1 surround sound". However, my recording is muffled, and doesn't sound very good. It sounds like you are playing the audio from the computer with a good pair of speakers into a good mic, but I'm obviously not doing this. When I play sound through my monitor's speakers, it records fine and sounds just like the audio I hear. Keep in mind, everything I hear is fine. It is just in the recording. I have tried this in Windows 8.1 on another computer and it does the same thing.

Does anyone know how to setup windows 10 so that I could get playback in two (or more) separate pairs of g930(or similar) headphones at the same time? Would be nice for watching movies on the HTPC without waking up everyone else in the house? Thanks, Elliott35

So I've been planning on upgrading from my Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma. I really love them, but they are not very comfortable. I'm looking for a headset, preferably wireless, withing the 100-170 dollar range. I've been looking at the Logitech G930, but many people are complaining that the audio sometimes cuts out. I'd really love a pair of wireless headphones, but wired is okay if they are REALLY good. Comfort and sound quality are the most important, but I don't want to be wearing bricks on my ears. Thanks EDIT: So after becoming much wiser (thanks all), I now know what I want. What I need is a closed back pair of headphones, wired. The budget is 100-140 dollars. Im going to use either a Modmic 4.0 or the Vmoda Boom, depending on if the headphones have detachable 3,5mm jack or not. I want the sound of the headphones to be good (obviously), but also the comfort and looks.

I apologize in advance for being uneducated on the topic of selecting audio devices. I have owned a pair of the Logitech G930 for a while now, but they have slowly fallen apart from abuse of the wireless feature and are being held together with duct tape. My only issues I had with it were that the wireless used 2.4 GHz which would have interference and disconnect quite frequently which got annoying. The headset was also a bit heavy and didn't hold on my head as nicely as I would've liked. I decided with the issues I've had with the headset to get a new pair and wanted to step away from the "gaming" geared aspect of it and just get a good pair of headphones. So, I got the Sennheiser HD 518. Based on what I heard, the fact that the headphones were an open style, would help with pinpointing enemy locations in games better than the simulated surround I get from the G930. However I seem to have grown a liking to Logitech's simulated surround as it made things sound more full and as if the sounds weren't coming just from the speakers in the headphones. I sort of expected a similar experience based on what I heard about open headphones but it wasn't the case. The bass seemed a bit loud in comparison and the overall sound felt muddy if there was any bass at all in the audio. Maybe the HD 518 just aren't the right style of sound I like? I've considered returning them but I wouldn't be quite sure what to get instead. I hate to say that I like the sound of the virtual surround from Logitech better as I feel like I've fallen for some gamer marketing scam but I really do feel as if they sounded better. I've tried using Razer Surround in conjunction with the HD 518 and I still get the same feel from it where the bass would make the audio unclear. Considering that my G930 are falling apart, heavy, and have unreliable wireless, I'm considering getting the G430 as a replacement but don't want to feel like I'm falling for a gamer marketing scam. Any suggestions?

Hey all, When I am attempting to record through Fraps without Win7 sound, the mic quality of my headset is fine. When I start to record with Win7 sound the mic static noise returns. I have also tried recording with shadowplay, and this also sounds static. It seems that when I record in-game sound, my mic turns static. Does anybody know a fix to this?

Alright guys, I've been looking around for some new headphones and I have a couple of things to share so you can get an idea of what kind of sound I'm looking for. Alright so first about the Logitech G930s. I loved this headset and I also really hated it. So the reason I hated these was because they were too heavy for me and gave me a sore neck and ears hurt sometimes using them. But I remember when flipping that 7.1 virtual surround sound switch on the side of the headset and playing some Battlefield 3 using that "wartapes" sound setting... oh man It was like moving away from reality and into the game. It was that immersive for me and I loved it. Now for this next part, I want to explain how I really enjoyed using these headphones I remember everything sounding very clear and music was very enjoyable. I remember saying wow these are so badass when I first got them.Probably one of the best $20 I've ever spent. Ok so these headphones were the Sennheiser HD 201 and oh man not going to lie probably one of the best sounding headphones I remember using. I just remember music being very clear, I don't know how else to describe it. Alright so what I really wanted to try and ask. Is there a headphone out there where I can get that immersive 7.1 sound from the Logitech G930, and also have that crisp clear audio from the Sennheiser HD 201s. PS . I don't know much about headphones and DAC / AMP's. I've never owned big boy audio equipment, but am willing to give it a shot if the price is right.

What headset would you recommend that costs around £90? Currently I use the headphones with an in-line mic that comes with the Galaxy S3 (with a headset splitter), so most headsets would be better than what I currently have. I usually play cs:go, so I want a headset with surround sound so I can hear where the enemies are around me. The reason I want it to be wireless is because sometimes I get too far away and the wire for my headphones isn't long enough; resulting in wither the headphones getting unplugged, coming out of my ears or both, which is frustrating. Right now I think the G930 looks good for me, but I don't know much about headsets, so I'm not sure if it isn't that good, or if there is a much better headset I could get for a similar price.

Hi My current Turtle Beach z300 headset is falling apart and it's time for me to get a better one. I've been looking at the Corsair H2100: http://gaming.corsair.com/zh-cn/corsair-gaming-h2100-wireless-dolby-7-1-gaming-headset and the Logitech G930: http://gaming.logitech.com/en-us/product/g930-7-1-wireless-gaming-headset I know the Logitech headset is a steeper in price, but I've heard iffy things about it, such as random disconnects with the receiver. I've also heard that the Corsair is a bit cheap. I don't know if either of these are true. Question is simply, what's better? I'll never go back to wired after having wireless. Does one sound better? Better features? ect I game a lot on my PC and want the best wireless 7.1 headset with a good mic. Thanks.

Hello, I'm sure this is a common problem, but I haven't been able to find anything that tells how to do this. So what is happening is the memory foam headband (this piece for further description http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/electronics/detail-page/B003VANOFY_G930_memory_foam_lg.jpg) Is beginning to peel, along with the ear pads. I know the ear pads would be a breeze to replace. What I want to know is how to remove the afore mentioned headband piece. I have found a headband piece from the g430 on ebay that looks similar the problem is taking apart the headset to get the old one out. If you need pictures or anything I'd be happy to take and post them. Thanks Nopin

Are the Logitech gaming headsets any good? Is the G35 , G430 worth it in your opinions? I personally own a G35 but it broke and logitech sent me a replacement. I am asking because my brother wants a headset and he purchased a G430 and I hes wondering if he should take it back because it seems a bit flimsy. What is your opinion?

I've had this Logitech G930 for about 2 years now and it's always had a problem with connecting to the USB, now I know that its a wireless headset and that it's bound to do it from time to time but it's just doing it every 5 minutes, I beleive this has something to do with either the microphone or a constant flow of audio, some people have not such good mic's and with skype they have a constant buzz coming in through the speakers, this wouldn't be a problem if it was not for the fact that it disconnects from the usb when this happens. Whilst watching youtube it seems fine, which is strange because its practically the same thing, a constant flow of audio through media, i'm not sure what I should do. Expensive headset, i've had it for sometime now, I did buy another logitech headset, the mic is dimmed so that the microphone must quite litterally be inside my mouth for people to hear me, I feel like I should go away from logitech... Any recommendations for headsets? I was looking at Astro A40's, their not that expensive and quite good looking at reviews. (Under $200 AUD would be nice) pls and ty.

I had a Corsair Vengeance 2100, but the signal dropped quite often. Then I got them replaced with the Logitech G930, but now I have the same issue. I thought it was the WI-FI, but my friend who sits like 2 feet from me tried them out and he has no problems... I can't figure out what the problem is.... My specs are: Motherboard - Asus P8Z77-V LX CPU - Intel 3770 i7 (Corsair H55 Watercooler) RAM - 16 GB Kingston HyberX 1600 PSU - Silver Power SP-S750 750Watt GPU - Gainward GTX 660 ti Drive(s) - Samsung EVO 250GB SSD and two old HDD And Old CD-Drive

This is starting to drive me crazy. If I talk, if I type, move my chair, if I even breath it all but mutes the person I’m talking to. I've found other people having the same problem but never found any real fixes for it. Most people say Skype is a half duplex so it only sends one stream at a time. Whoever is the loudest gets priority. That doesn't make sense though because I’ve been using Skype for years and this only started happening recently. And it doesn't seem to happen every time or with every one I talk to. People have also reported the same or similar problem with other voice services witch makes me think it's not Skype. Could it be a problem with windows? I'm using Windows 7 – 64Bit. Some people have also suggested that it's a problem with some sound cards but I’m not using a sound card. I'm using the Logitech G930 wireless headset and it's always worked in the past. I've been threw every setting in Skype, the Logitech software and windows 7 and turned off all the auto settings I could find and I still have the problem. I'd be more than happy to switch to another VoIP if anyone has any suggestions but none of the one's I’ve tried have anywhere near the voice quality that Skype does so I’d rather fix Skype if I can.

Is it possible to use the macro keys from the Logitech G930 as media keys without having the Logitech Gaming Software installed? The Logitech software causes bugs at my headset and without the software installed everything works fine. So is there any software with that i can rebind the keys on the headset?
