Budget (including currency): 1100 euros Country: portugal Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Chrome live streaming + discord, teamviewer live streaming+ geeks toy trading software ( all simultaneously). Occasional gaming like PES 2021 or PUBG. Other details (i already own a few peripherals like keyboard, razer tartarus pro, logitech columns wired and 2 asus vg245h monitors) So i am a trader and i need a pc to work and occasional gaming. I need the best i can have for internet speed wired, since its paramount in this business. Therefore i must have a smooth working environment with very fast response (every millisecond counts). The video feeds in chrome and teamviewer/discord must run with perfection with no prejudice for the trading software. I always work with vpn (a good and expensive one) I wish to have at least 4 usb outputs and 1 usbc output. Fan of gaming but do not have the time to play much, so i want the occasional game with no problems and good quality. If possible i would like to have a cubic case since i do not have much desk space but i do have a compartment that accommodates a cubic case ( this is optional if the standard case isn't gigantic). That's all folks ! Feel free to ask anything Thank you!

Budget (including currency): $1,500 USD Country: United States Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Video Editing (Premiere & After Effects), Streaming (Using OBS), Gaming (Witcher 3 & Destiny 2) Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): A friend asked for help with building a PC since she's coming from a Mac. I'm not the best a picking parts, seeing as how I've yet to build my own PC, but I figured PCPartPicker and a bit of knowledge would bring me a decent part of the way there. I do have a parts list, which I would appreciate feedback on and also suggestions on where I could cut cost without sacrificing too much in terms of performance. While the budget isn't too limiting, I've already picked parts that exceed that by about $500 USD. I wanted to try and pick parts that would last her a fair amount of time, but I'm probably going overboard for what's strictly necessary AMD Ryzen 9 3900X GIGABYTE X570 AORUS ULTRA ATX AM4 Corsair RM (2019) 750w 80+ Fully Modular EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB Black Gaming Corsair Vengance RGB Pro 32 gb (2x16GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory Western Digital Black SN750 NVMe 500GB m.2 2280 SSD Samsung 860 EVO 1TB 2.5" SSD Western Digital Black 4TB 3.5" 7200RPM HDD Corsair h115i RGB PLATINUM 97 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler Phanteks Eclipse P350X ATX MidTower After looking for pricing and availability, I ended up with a total $2,070.91. Also, while she would like RGB Lighting, I'd prefer to focus on performance first and foremost. Even if that means she doesn't get much in the way of rainbows everywhere.

Budget (including currency): 35000 php (philippine peso) Country: the philippines Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: something that can handle ms teams + 15-20 chrome tabs + powerpoint + spotify simultaneously without crashing. maybe also light gaming, (right now, i only really wanna play left4dead but i also wanna try other games in the future). i am also planning on starting a youtube channel next yr, so maybe light to moderate video editing will also be a consideration. Other details i plan on buying everything by the end of the year because of budget constraints. also because of budget constraints, i'll settle for a gtx1030 for now and will upgrade to a 2060 super some time next yr. i dont really care much for peripherals since im not a gamer (yet), but i do want a 24 - 27 inch monitor. 60hz is enough for me too. i listed the parts im planning to buy below. i believe ive watched enough ltt pc builds to know the basics, but would love to hear from experienced pc builders if the parts i selected are compatible and will be useful for the workload i specified above. cpu: ryzen 5 2600 motherboard: gigabyte b450 aorus elite (also, vrm is a consideration of the longevity of a system right? i want this pc to last for at least 5 yrs, and i tried reading the motherboard vrm tier list but i dont understand what im looking at. so does this motherboard have good vrm? will it last for 5 yrs) psu: evga gold 600w ram: ripjaws v 16gb 3200 2x8gb boot drive: kingstone a2000 500gb m.2 hdd: seagate 2tb 3.5" case: any mid tower with bottom psu enclosure gpu: gtx 1030 thanks berry match for your time

Hi, I'm making my first custom water cooled GPU loop and need to make sure that I'm ordering everything I need. Here are the parts: GPU: Palit RTX 3090 GameRock OC, BLOCK: Alphacool Eisblock Aurora Acryl GPX-N RTX 3080/3090 GameRock, PUMP&RESERVOIR: Alphacool Eisbecher D5 250mm Acetal reservoir incl. 1x Alphacool Eispumpe VPP755 V.3 (is this a big enough res and will this pump be enough?) RADIATOR: Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 Full Copper 180mm Triple radiator, (this one will need 180mm fan mounts, if you have any recommendations as to where to get these it would be a big help, shipping to EU) TUBING: Alphacool tubing AlphaTube HF 16/10 (3/8"ID) - Ultra Clear 3m (9,8ft) Retailbox, FITTINGS: Alphacool HF 16/10 compression fitting G1/4 - chrome sixpack, (are these the correct size for the rest of my parts and are there enough of them?) COOLANT: distilled water with biocide, (do you recommend any specific biocide, and what's the best ratio for mixing?) CASE: Fractal Torrent, FANS: 180mm fans that come in the case mentioned above Any help with this or any recommendations would be immensely appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Budget (including currency): Country: South Africa Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hi everyone, This will be my first time building a PC. I have an, admittedly, stupid question about installing my motherboard into the case. I notice that the centre standoff that was preinstalled into the Corsair 7000D has an anchoring peg on it, the problem is that the motherboard mounting hole that this peg would go through seems to be partially covered by a heatsink that covers one of the M.2 slots, the one above the PCIe slot that one would ordinarily insert the graphics card into. I assume I would either have to replace the standoff that has the anchoring peg with another standoff that does not have an anchoring peg, or I would have to remove the heatsink and keep it off, is that correct? does anyone know if the anchoring peg will go through just fine even with the heatsink still on? I have tried searching for a few videos that demonstrate the installation of this board into any corsair case, but the actual installation and fastening always seems to be cut out (my search skills are probably just terrible). I would really appreciate some insight.

So I was seeing what I can put together for a gaming PC while keeping it budget as possible. In the end results I came out with a $500 rig with the convenience of a copy of windows 8 on disk, monitor and keyboard already bought. What type of value would I be getting out of this rig?

Hey guys. I'm currently in the process of building a PC online on a budget at ~$1500 AUD and would like to get some feedback on it. *Note* that this is all being built on www.centrecom.com.au CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 6 Core Processor - $193 CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212X Universal CPU Cooler - $49 Motherboard: MSI B450 GAMING PRO CARBON AC AM4 ATX Motherboard - $228 RAM: Kingston HyperX FURY 16GB (2x 8GB) DDR4 2666MHz Memory - White - $121 GPU: MSI Radeon RX570 ARMOR 4G OC DDR5 - $209 Storage #1: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" Internal Hard Drive - $62 Storage #2: Western Digital WD Blue 250GB 3D NAND M.2 SSD - $58 PSU: Cooler Master MasterWatt Lite 500W 80+ Certified Power Supply - $59 Case: Thermaltake Versa N27 Mid Tower Case - Black - $79 Case Fans: 4x Cooler Master MasterFan Lite 120mm Case Fan - White LED - $76 ($19 x 4) Operating System: Windows 10 - $155 Assembly - $90 TOTAL: $1379 In truth I want this PC to outperform this, both processing and graphic-wise. I'm planning to OC the 2600 upto 3.6-3.8Ghz and so I'm conscious about temperature of it and thus additional fans (also it adds more aesthetics to it). Now I'm worry about whether or not that there will be enough system fan headers for said fans and if they need to use a hub of some sorts for it.

I can't find the picture I took of my computer when I first built it over two years ago, so you're just going to have to take my word for both the initial build and first upgrade to my computer; however, I'll still be sharing my experiences with the initial build and first upgrade below, where I've also linked the parts lists and posted the most recent pictures of my rig. 2017 Christmas Build Honestly, other than the hassle that was attaching the front panel IO connectors to the motherboard, and attaching my PSU to the case before plugging in the Molex connectors, it was a pretty straightforward build. This was my first build, and it took me about two hours to complete whilst being conscious of cable management and overall aesthetics. In my opinion, the most interesting aspect of the build was that I was able to get my 1300x to stably run at 4GHz on the stock cooler. At the time, I didn't bother fidgeting with the GPU clock speeds or ram timings/frequency, mostly because the computer worked well enough as it was, but also because I just didn't understand how it worked in the first place. 2017 Christmas Build: Upgrade v.1 By this time, I had the computer for a little over a year and a half, and I had some upgrades I wanted to make to increase performance on a budget. * Firstly, I wanted to see how much more performance I could get out of my CPU, so I tossed the stock cooler and opted for the more appropriate ARCTIC Freezer 34 eSports DUO to help me reach 4.2GHz on my 1300x. * Secondly, the only air intake fan was the one that came with my case, so I bought a 5-pack of ARCTIC 120mm case fans. This allowed me to have one intake fan on the back and two on the top, and three fans expelling air towards the front of my case - all connected through my Silverstone fan hub. * Thirdly, I wanted to tackle the problem that was dust build up. In a year and a half, I took my computer completely apart - GPU shroud and all - three times to remove dust, so I added dust filters to the intake fans. This very drastically reduced the amount of cleaning necessary to maintain both my computer's cleanliness and thermals - maybe it's all the dogs my family has owned over the years, but my house is abnormally dusty. * Lastly, I switched from Protronix Series 7 Thermal Paste, to the graphite thermal pad I'd seen Linus make a video about. I didn't record my temps before and after to compare, and I wish I would've, but I'm sure it had a slight impact on my thermals nonetheless. Overall, I'd say for how cheap the upgrades were, these choices are probably your best bet for squeezing out some more performance on your current hardware, both without opting for new hardware altogether or drastically modding your hardware (i.e. IHS deliding, IHS Lapping, liquid metal application, etc.). After the upgrades, whose purpose in the end was mostly to affect thermals, I decided to try and wrap my head around how to successfully overclock my RAM. I was able to mess around with the frequency and get it to 2666MHz, (testing stability with Prime95), but I just don't understand how much I'm supposed to adjust the timings, or really what the timings affect in the first place. I also gave overclocking my GPU a shot, and initially I had some issues, but in the end I was able to successfully overclock my GPU's core clock to 1878MHz from 1746MHz, and the memory clock to 8808MHz from 8008MHz. The OC is stable, idling at 26 degrees Celsius, and 66 degrees Celsius under load (Fur Mark). 2017 Christmas Build: Upgrade v.2 For the most recent upgrade to my computer, I swapped the Ryzen 3 1300x for a Ryzen 5 1600. The CPU was given to me by a friend who was selling his computer parts at the time - he didn't feel like going through the hassle of selling it, and knew I was about ready to need a new CPU anyways. I'm using the same cooler as I was for the 1300x after my computer's first upgrade, and it's still working great - I'm able to run 4 GHz stable at 1.2375V. The upgrade from 4c/4t to 6c/12t is a sizable one and I feel like the 1300x was slightly bottle-necking my GTX 1060 6GB. In addition to the upgraded CPU, I added another 8 GB's of 2400Mhz RAM to my computer to total 16 GB's, which I ended up overclocking to 2666MHz. In the near future, I'll probably give adjusting my timings another shot, and possibly try and push my RAM to 2933MHz as well, but we'll see how it goes. Budget (including currency): Around Php 65,000 (close to $1,330) Country: Philippines Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Programming and gaming, mostly FPS like CoD. Might play CP2077 as well. Might do some music production as well. Other details: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/mpbJ8J Some parts don't show up in the website so I'm listing them down here: Mobo: MSI X570 Tomahawk (Php 11,800; approx. $245) PSU: Corsair CV450 for now. (Php 2,350; approx. $48) Case: MSI MAG Forge 100R (Php 3,339; approx. $69) Stuff is more expensive here. I'm actually conflicted if I should get an RTX 2060 or a Radeon RX 5600 XT. The 1660 Super is basically my minimum. Also, I am aware of Ampere and the upcoming Big Navi. I'm actually waiting for Big Navi so prices would go down once again. I'd love to get some advice.

Hey LTT community! Currently own a PS4 but selling it this Xmas and going to build my first PC! My part list is just below. Just three things first: 1. I have chosen the AMD 8350 over say a i5-4690k because this PC will be mainly used for uni work (which AMD can handle) and playing BF4, which I believe to b best suited to the multi-core AMD? 2. I need to get a cooler for the CPU, ideally I want a water cooler, to keep the inside of the PC looking nicer (windowed case), but I need help picking one please. 3. Ideally I always had my heart set on the Evolv ITX case, really like this case - but on PCPartPicker it said there were no compatible motherboards to go with Evolv ITX and 8350???
